Jason showed up on time, communication was good, he had ideas and samples, the quote was thorough and it all happened in under a month. His team was detail oriented, thorough, professional and they cleaned up after themselves. Our bathroom was gutted, everything was to replaced along with a new fan added and part of our main stack was also replaced - full bathroom renovation. We have no regrets and would recommend them to anyone. The team went above and beyond for us. We felt like they were working with us (not against us like previous contractors), they kept us in the loop with communication and the end result speaks for itself. When we did have questions they were always available to answer them even if it was on the weekend or after work. They made us feel like they cared about our project. I initiated discussions and cummunication with PBW back in November, 2021. I was assured an early spring time frame would not be an issue and have documented communication to that effect. Based on that commitment, I provided a deposit after reviewing the quote. Since following-up regularily as early as January 2022,  there has been repeated excuses, lack of meaningful communication or simply no reponses at all, breach of confirmed (written) comittments. Simply put,  NO EFFORT on the part of PrairieBoyWindows  (Joe - President/Owner/Operator) of PBW to fulfill this order to completion.  In fact, never got a direct answer if my Windows were ever ordered,  available and ready for installation! After nearly 8  months, I expressed my FRUSTRATION  and in clear terms,  stated this is totally UNACCEPTABLE and would like the  order CANCELLED and DEMANDED a refund of my deposit. I took immediate action and filed complaints with BBB, Consumer Affairs Authority, consulted a lawyer and contacted local Police Service to report potential fraud activity and theft of funds. Police were willing to sit down with me and go through my documentation. (I kept all communication on record, - work order, money transfer, emails and notes on any phone calls) After advising Prairie Boy Windows of my intentions, and taking action, I did get a full refund but at the expense of going through a completely frustrating experience from the start. Now, judge for yourself and see reviews of others who have posted before me on Google, TrustedPro, BBB, etc etc. Folks,  I encourage you to keep good records of anything they (Prairie  Boy Windows and Doors)  provides and/or says, including dates/times of calls etc,  to hold them accountable.

A couple of days after the installation, the one closet door would not open. A representative from the company came out and did an adjustment and informed us that if he had to come out again, it would be at an additional cost to us which seemed rediculous as the doors were brand new. A short time after the rep was out, when we closed the door, it came off the track every time. I called Precision Doors twice and was informed that someone would get back to me. No one ever did!! I finally ended up calling a friend over and in less 2 hours he had the problem fixed and we have had no issues since. You would think that if you are in the business of installing doors, be they interior or exterior that you would stand by your workmanship and provide customer service in a timely manner to remedy any problems that may arise!!!
