The motor on my Dyson was replaced here after it started smoking. Luckily it was still under warranty so the work done was covered. Parking is hard due to location. This is the first time in five years. I've been able to walk on my hardwood flooring without one hair fiber on my socks , when you are a working woman vacuuming on a regular basis becomes a daunting task. (I have my own Dyson 11, which I love.) I got to try out the different vacuums. I like the fact that they service the Dyson right there. Non Existent Customer Service I purchased a vacuum online that did not meet expectations. I have tried completing the online return and have been unsuccessful in having anyone respond. The online chat does not work. When you call, there is at least an hour hold time. When you call the number listed for this location, the number is disconnected. Never had an issue with a single one of them UNTIL two days ago when my hairdryer would not turn on. I immediately checked the warranty and saw where it was good for 2 years which meant it would expire in 3 days!! Well, the reviews below are 100% true. I had the same experience when visiting this store to repair a Dyson product. The individual who "helped" me was extremely curt and wanted nothing to do with me. I felt extremely unwelcome. His attitude was so evident that another customer nearby commented on how discourteous he was to me and said that he treated her in the same manner. There is only ONE Dyson service center in the area. The only way to avoid this horrible person and this location is to avoid purchasing DYSON products. I called Customer Service at Dyson and reported the situation about this center, but they did not care and only looked at the notes he had made on my account and repeated them back to me. Apparently, this guy has some sort of "secret sauce" with Dyson and can get away with treating people rudely. If you are reading this message, you probably already own a Dyson product. I contacted the Dallas service center twice about my hair dryer that had stopped working. They stated they could not give an estimate without looking at it 1st; however, if it was the motor - they said they did not keep them in stock. I took the hair dryer to their service center; however, no one took the time to check it out - instead told me they could sell me a new one - at a slight discount. I just wanted mine repaired - but they only offered to keep it - to recycle (fix and resale). We have a Dyson animal that was just our of warranty and needed a part installed. I had purchased the part but needed a special tool to install it. I brought it in on a Saturday and had it back by Tuesday, and free of charge nonetheless! They were very organized and the communication was great. The place is non-descript, but inside, there is a small showroom and hard working technicians that really know what they are doing. There is no fluff here that you might associate with the brand and they really take care of their customers. Floored!! Like as in shocked, flabbergasted, extraordinarily astounded! I love my 5 year old Dyson V7 vacuum so much that I bought a second one December of 2019. Yesterday when using my cordless V11 Torque Drive cordless vacuum, the power button became stuck in the on position, so I went online and discovered Dyson has a service center not far from me, in Farmer's Branch, and that they were open on Saturdays. Upon arriving, they had technicians working on various Dyson vacuums, and they directed us to a parking spot. After a short wait, a technician approached our vehicle, and took down some information. After describing the symptoms, the technician immediately advised Dyson will be sending me a completely brand new motor head free of charge. I've always been a fan of Dyson products, and with the level of outstanding service I received, I am definitely a customer for life!!! read more

Great customer service! Took my Dyson vac in for a broken trigger assembly. Staff was very friendly and informative of my product. Also, explained and demonstrated in detailed mechanical questions I had with the technology of their air purifiers. Before I knew it, my vac was already repaired. I'd been talking to the manager (on Yelp messages, his title is owner, Brad V. of the (then) Farmers Branch store via Yelp about repairing my vacuum. It took some time for Brad to give me answers so when I was finally satisfied I had most of my questions answered, he tells me that the store is moving to a new location that week. I then told Brad I would wait to bring it in until after their grand opening. He said he would let the store know about the situation for when I did bring it in for the repair. The grand opening happened on the 25th and I called this week to see if I needed to make an appt, which was one question I really wasn't certain about for the new store. I called the store and spoke to William and from the very beginning his tone and attitude was very off putting and some of the things he said was very unprofessional. When I told him about my conversation via Yelp with Brad leaving a note and asked would he check to see if he indeed leave one, he said he would NOT look for the note until I brought the vac in and then it got assessed what the problem is. I couldn't believe he wouldn't check for the note. I didn't want to load my vac into my car and drive over to the store if they weren't going to honor what was promised to me. Everything William said contradicted what Brad said. I told William that I have screenshots of the messages between me and Brad and wanted to know if they would honor what Brad had told me. Me asking this upset William for some reason bc he raised his voice at me. This whole experience has been a huge hassle and very frustrating, from the long waits between Brad's very short replies to William's unnecessary rude attitude and comments. read more

This was my first time coming to this store. Our vacuum developed an issue, and I saw in other reviews that this location actually has a service center as well. Courtney helped me address the issue. She was so professional and helpful and walked me through what the potential issue might be. She then took the unit back to the person that services the units, and it was decided that the best course of action would be to replace the motor. Since it was under warranty, that was free. While the service was being done, I chatted some with the other salesperson, Mark. He was friendly and really knowledgeable about all of their products, and keyed me in to some new items I wasn't aware of before. The entire process took about 30 minutes, and I walked out with essentially a brand new machine. Customer service matters, and this store delivers it at a five star level. Both of these employees were an absolute delight, and are to be commended for the service they provide. read more

The place is a joke. Brought in an 11 year old vacuum (DC33) because it "lost suction." The dbag behind the counter told me the DC33 model had been discontinued and they no longer serviced it. He did tell me they would be happy to recycle it for me. Giving them two stars because the technician who happened to be standing by truck when I went to load it back up took a quick look and suggested I replace the clutch. A $25 part on Amazon and 10minute YouTube video and I was back in business. Any place that refuses to service its own older models is worthless and contributing to our throw away culture. I called the Dyson Support number and Brandon directed to do some quick troubleshooting. Since I was not able to resolve the issue, he directed me to go to the Dyson Service Center 3 miles away. I went to the Service Center and was greeted by Alex. He said he would check it out and let me know in a few minutes. And in a few minutes he let me know that he would do some more checking. Apparently, he could not fix the vacuum because it was possibly a motor problem. And three minutes later he walked out with a brand new Dyson. I wished he was able to fix mine and not have to take a new one but I am extremely happy that I have a working unit now! What great service. We had to have the group hug with Alex and my friend. Alex is awesome! Dyson is great. I'm going to buy an air purifier from them soon. read more

Horrible customer service!!! I bought a P4 Dyson purification unit from them on Feb 25th. One week later I notice it is not pulling water and then I trigger the clean cycle and again notice it is not moving the water. I tried and tired to get this store on the phone but they don't answer their phones. So I called Dyson directly and they worked with me a bit. I let it be for a month and then when it wanted to clean again again I noticed it does not pump anything. I emailed Dyson again and they sent me back to the store to get it repaired. So I called up this store again and lo and behold I got a person that told me they could assess in 48 hours and if it was the pump as I thought it was that they had plenty in stock. Great I drive down there at the end of the week on a Friday calling them I would be pulling up in front of their store and could they send someone out to get this heavy unit in the door and I would then go park. No answer. I get to the store and have to go around and around trying to get someone on the phone. Finally they answered and refused to help me by coming out the store 10 feet or so while I was double parked and they were not nice at all about it. I already wrenched my back getting it into my vehicle and I told them I'm 68 with a wrenched back. Nope. So I get it in the store myself and head off to go park in the parking garage. I futher wrench my back getting up 2 flights of stairs. So once in the store no he didn't need the service # Dyson had told me to give them. By this time I just wanted my money back. No it is beyond the 30 days. I tried to show him how I had been emailing Dyson over the pump not working. Nope don't want to see it. Then he started trying to make it out as it was me that was being unreasonable and I could just take it elsewhere to get it repaired. I was not a happy camper by this time and not too impressed with their total lack of customer service. I stormed out leaving the unit to be repaired like when? This guy today told me that no it could not be assessed in 48 hours and didn't care that I thought it was the pump and was told they kept pumps in stock. So I called Dyson while back in my car and after a good long discussion they agreed to refund my $$ if I sent the unit back. So back to the store to pick it up and I had to carry it out myself again. So now I am headed to Best Buy to purchase a new one and I will ship the old one back to Dyson tomorrow. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS HATEFUL STORE. I told Dyson that they need to have a talk with this store and get their customer service skills up to par. She was very sweet and told me she had made a note to send in my experience with this store. UPDATE: I did pick up a new P4 Dyson from Best Buy the same day of this incident. On 1st powering it up I heard the pump for a brief moment and then I set it to 70% humidity for the night. This morning it had used about an inch of water so I know this one works. The unit from Dyson Park Lane in Dallas had a serial # that started with K and this new unit has a number that started with X. I had seen reviews that problems were fixed with later models. So this is my opinion and I'm no expert so make your own decisions. I imagine since the Park Lane store was selling at a discount of around $150 or so I bet they were getting rid of older models with problems. That is probably why they never answered my phone calls or returned any calls and then acted like a total butt when I brought it in. I have 14 days with Best Buy to make sure this unit is working right. The other is going back in the mail today with absolutely no help from this store. My daughter's Dyson was broken. It wouldn't start. She was go to buy a new one but I told her I thought it was the cord. I convinced her to take it here. She reluctantly agreed and we both went. As soon as the pleasant guy took a look at it he said I think we can fix it while you wait. After 15 minutes, he brought it out and said it was good to go and no charge! We were delighted! Another Dyson success story My Dyson stick vacuum wouldn't turn on. I followed the troubleshooting guide online and it told me if it flashed red more than 12 times to contact customer support. Well, it was Saturday and customer support was closed. I figured I'd email them instead. They replied and asked me for information on my vacuum and how many times it actually flashed at me. It was 32 times. I figured it was a battery problem. They suggested that I take it here to the Dyson Service Center in Farmers Branch. I called up there this morning to see if I needed to drop the vacuum off or if they could do repairs while I waited. The man on the phone said they normally can repair vacuums while you wait. Excellent. I get there later in the day around 4pm. I see a sign that tells me to fill out the service form. As I pick it up, Justin comes around the corner and asks if he can help me. I explain to him that my vacuum won't turn on. He scans the serial number and says he has all the info he needs and my vacuum is under warranty. "Do I still need to fill out this form?" "Nope. We have all the info we need. Have a seat and hang out." "Great." I sit there for between 5-10 minutes and Justin comes back and hands me my vacuum. "I ran it on MAX and ran the battery out so you'll need to charge it before it will work but it's fixed." "You don't happen to have a used crevice tool lying around that I can have, do you?" He came back with a new crevice tool and handed it to me. "How much do I owe you?" "Nothing." And that was it. Totally awesome. I got my vacuum home, charged it and it works great. No problems.
