Snow removal for driveway great but for walkway and stairs totally unreliable. They do our driveway early when it snows. The customer service is awful. They give fake promises and have to chases them. We paid for service and were very frustrated and disappointed that our walkway and stairs were not done for many days after several snowstorm. Great for driveways but not for stairs and walkways. Hopefully next year they will honour their contract and do our walkway and stairs in a timely . read more

I would give less than 1 star if I could, horrible service, waited on hold twice and was hung up on both times. The driver showed up once in the largest storm of the year and did 1 pass with the plow and leaving over half of the snow on the ground in our 8 car parking lot. Our landlord is scared to complain for fear of retaliation from the company and drivers. They are crooks. read more

Very disappointed in this company. Every snow storm my neighbor driveway is cleaned at 5am and mine is done late night. I needed to be at work for 8am I called at 6am asking them to please clear the path so I can get to work. It is now 14:30pm and still I can't remove my car from the driveway. When I called again before noon the woman became rude and said they will come when they can. Why was my neighbor driveway clean and mine is always the last one for the night. Sometimes it's done on the following day. Not fair. Horrible company. Favoritism much. read more

Déneigement St-Charles is the Worst possible snow removal company ever. I have come across some really bad snow removal places, but this one is by far the worst. If I receive their paper in the mail for next year, it will be burned and thrown in the garabe immediately, RIGHTFULLY SO. First snowfall we had to call numerous times, being told each time the driver would be here within an hour to clear all the driveways They had numerous clients on our street, huh. They didn't show up till in the middle of the night. Most of us had to shovel our own driveways in order to get out. During the last call to complain(the next day), I was told to keep my tone in check, and when I said I would not - the girl proceeded to hang up on me. After attempting to call back to further complain, they repeated disconnected the phone calls using the caller ID. I also attempted to locate them on Saint Charles in Kirkland(that to was a JOKE AND WASTE OF TIME). The second snowstorm, was a repeat of the above minus the phone attempts, as it would have been a waste of time. The first clear took place at 5:30a.m.,(for all the clients in in area - even though snow started the night before. The other company on the street, had already passed three times. And we are only in mid January 2023 - What a joke, we know how this will go the rest of the season, lol. So you can guess who most of us will be switching to. WARNING!!! I took this snow removal company unknowingly of their service. ( new to the area) they come to blow thesnow after 8 pm usually ...i come home with with driveway full of snow. So itend up we have to clean shovelthe driveway. Yesterday they came to clean between 11pm until about 1 am. When people are sleeping and car needed to be park in driveway. It is unusual for most reliable companies to do that as other companies have already cleaned before 5pm. Next year, I will not take this company as 95 percent of the time the snow is not removed when needed. read more

They do not even pick up the phone: Thursday I could not go to work and my daughter missed cegep because they did not clean in the morning, today is Sunday and they had not come in 4 days!!! Used them for two years now. Never had a problem . Good price. They always pass by after the city plow passes. I don't expect them to come before that. First snowfall this year and Saint Charles snow removal was no where to be found. Called several times and was repeatedly told they were having problems in the Pierrefonds area, but that the problem would be fixed shortly. Put my car on the street at 8:00am. and despite several promises to clean driveway, I had to shovel myself back into my driveway at midnight. Now the day after. I called at 8:00am explained my problem and was told that dispatch would be given an emergency call and that my driveway would be cleared shortly. We will see. read more

Absolutely awful service. It snowed severely yesterday. They cleaned our neighbor's driveway (which is attached to ours) and left ours untouched despite having the same snow removal sign. I called multiple times yesterday to ask for someone to come unsnow around 8pm given they hadn't unsnowed the entire day and the city had accumulated a few feet of snow in front of our house. I was assured someone was coming. Yet, midnight came, and nothing happened. I managed to get my car back into my driveway with great difficulty for the night using the neighbor's driveway. Come today: someone came this morning, unsnowed quickly behind our cars and left without letting us know (we wanted to remove our cars so the driveway could be properly cleaned). A family member living closeby spoke to someone of the company that was unsnowing and they told them that it's normal and they do sometimes forget 1 or 2 houses. I wouldn't call that normal and seeing as we are repeatedly forgotten, it seems like a recurring problem. The city snowed us in today again. I have been calling multiple times all day and have been assured that someone would come by 6pm. I called back at 6h15pm because our driveway was still... filled with snow. I was assured someone would be on their way. It is now past 10pm and I have yet to see the company come and unsnow our driveway. Furthermore, they used to pop up on Google Reviews yesterday but today... gone. Were the honest reviews left so awful they had to hide em away? Thank heavens for yelp. read more

We signed with Déneigement St-Charles for the 20-21 season in Ile Perrot, they only showed up late afternoon to late evening after a snow storm, 9 times out of 10, had to manually showel my car out of the snow bank, poor customer service, they take your money and then ignore you and your calls, stay away at all cost. read more

Duraguard and St Charles same company btw! Called them to see if I can get same price as some people that I know that are paying only $210 plus tax! My neighbour is paying that price and she has a bigger driveway than mine! It's her second year she is paying that price. They refused. Unbelievable. Long time customers and they refused! They claim it was a promotion. But now it's a couple of years people I know are paying same price. Usually promotions last a year and then they go back to normal. Problem is there is a huge difference from $210 to $280 ... $70 difference! Already snow removal service we don't get it when we need it and now this! I even asked if they can at least give me a discount since there was a huge difference and they even refused refused to do that. So disappointing and upsetting! read more

OMG Saint-Charles Snow removal is the worst company in the entire industry, very badly run and managed...DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE!!! :( I've been with theme for years and every year they managed to screw us up... I paid 325$ for my double parking and very bad service and let me tell you their customer service is very poor and when you try calling their receptionist to inquire on when they plan to pass by all you get like answer is a no class nor no manner personnel telling you rudely that they will be there and they never show up. I had just about enough and will never do business with theme again. This year I rather have snow up to my door then to use Saint-Charles... If your looking for very bad service and rude customer service, headache and frustration well this is the right company for you but truly I wouldn't ever suggest Saint-Charles to anyone ever.... read more

We have been with them for years, and since the change in ownership, the service has been horrible. 3 major snowfalls in the last 2 weeks, and they showed up once out of those 3 times to do the job correctly. Tried calling: they only have an outgoing message saying their tractors are out until 9pm, and will start again at 8 tomorrow morning. Unacceptable. They clearly have too many customers for the number of tractors/drivers. There is no way we would recommend them and will be switching away from them next winter. read more

We have employed the fortitled company for the past 3 years. For the first 2 of these everything was okay and well. However this year where we have had snowstorm after snowstorm, aka where we needed their services the most, however saying that the service was subpar would be a horrendous under statement. As I write this review our driveway is covered in a meter high layer of snow and has been covered all day while the sorrounding houses have been cleaned. We have tried calling and complaining over the days yet nothing has been done. This will unfortunately be the last year we use this company and would warn others to stay away. read more

I payed the snow removal in September. I received the complaints of the tenants 3 times this year. It means they complained for after every snow. The company don't came on time, or they came with temper to block the walkway with the snow bank. The tenants asked me what has happened. I have no idea what's going on with them. I've been with st-charles for 8 years. The service was ok. This year the service is terrible. My neighbour came with is snow blower to dig us out and st charles passed around 10 only. At 3 pm the city clean the street and burried us in and again my neighbour came and dug us out and now it 8:24 pm and they are no where in site. I will be changing for another company next year read more
