I'm not a big fan of the typical meat you get in a döner, but vegetarian versions often just taste like a big salad. The halloumi döner here is insanely good, and strikes the right balance of filling without being overwhelming, and the sauces are great. People I've eaten with have also enjoyed the meat döner, the lentil soup, and the vegetarian special plates. But the halloumi döner is just so damn good, I never get anything else! I'd also recommend the mango ayran as a beverage.
The ambience is great, much more traditional and "ethnic" than you typically get in a döner joint. The prices are very slightly higher than I've seen in other döner places, but still extremely cheap compared to your average sit down restaurant of this quality. The waitresses who serve sit down customers are a bit introverted but very nice and helpful if you need anything.
I have no idea why this place isn't more highly rated, especially since it always has plenty of customers. Are Germans taking their döner for granted?! The combination of great food, service, and ambience makes this one of my absolute favorite places I've been in Germany, or anywhere.
