Unless you are aiming for the 300 pound weight class, an appetizer (Vorspeise) will be plenty. First, dinner inside was good and service was incredibly friendly. Then, a couple of days later, we returned for brunch. Although there is no true brunch menu, the appetizer plates made for a great outdoors brunch. The owners are very nice and will go completely out of their way to make your stay the best. Sunday they even offer to get Chinese for you and they will bring it to your bungalow. The restaurant is also very good with a wide range of food. Dishes are mostly from South Africa being that is where the owners are from. I could continue to go on and on I have no negative thoughts about this place.

The hallways were fairly dark, night and day, but that seems typical of German hotels in my experience. Breakfast was very good, with all options presented: scrambled eggs and bacon, but also sliced meat and cheese and boiled eggs, as well as breakfast pastries; they place a pot of coffee on your table with a service of milk and sugar. The wifi was fast, and easy to connect to. I got a strong signal anywhere in the hotel. Recommended for a stay in Marburg, whether that's for touring around or for an event at the university.
