Manny said he could get to our house in only two days, then arrived on schedule and took his time to be careful, diagnose the issue and explain it to me. He followed up promptly with an estimate. While it took a week or so for the part to come in, Manny kept us informed, and once it arrived he was able to come the next day to install. On both visits, Manny and Felix arrived on time, took care to not damage the cabinets, didn't create a mess and were very respectful. And their charges were very reasonable. I called them because Salex sold me ice-makers but didnt fix the no ice I called originally because i had a code come up on the door and i didnt want Salex to come back. I called Emmanuel, the owner at E & A Appliance repair after I had already had a different repair company come out, who and could not fix the 4 ft built-in refrigerator we owned. The first repair man said I needed a part, and after waiting for the part for several weeks and then installing it, the refrigerator still did not work. He refunded the charge for the call, but I'm stuck with a part I don't need. I called Emmanuel on a Saturday and he came out promptly Monday, and immediately determined by testing it, that my old part was still functioning, and he installed the old part back into the unit. He then began to diagnose the refrigerator very methodically, and told me that I needed a new main mother board, and he ordered the part. He called me that following Thursday and said the part was in, could he come by Friday and install it, and I agreed. Friday after installing the main board, the refrigerator still did not work. Emmanuel explained that he could not test further because without the main board working, it hampered any further testing to move forward. After about and hour, he said that the main board revealed that the secondary circuit board which controlled the electricity either 110v or 220v depending on need, was faulty and needed to be replaced as well. I agreed to the price and asked him if he would be back that following Monday, and he said under normal circumstances that would be his routine, but he said since you guys have been without a refrigerator for almost a month already, that he was going to drive to Ft. Myers that day, buy the part and drive back to Naples the same day to get us up and running. I definitely did not expect that, and thought it was a very gracious offer on his part and thanked him profusely. He returned mid-day on Friday about 1 pm and installed the additional board and everything fired up and started cooling immediately. I left him a nice tip when I paid the bill in appreciation for his above and beyond yeoman-like service. I would highly recommend Emmanuel and E&A appliance repair....this guy knows his stuff. When Mr. Emanuel (not sure if I have his name right) responded immediately to my question regarding the problem with my microwave, I was even more impressed. My microwave was not heating my food. He told me what the problem was and recommended replacing it. I believe many companies would schedule a home visit, at no small cost, and then tell me I needed a new microwave. Came on 11/6 to check out my ice maker on my refrigerator. Told me I need a new ice maker repair kit. Told me on 11/8 that he would order the parts. I texted him on 12/5 following up on the parts being ordered to which he didn't respond. Ice maker not making ice. It was over the Thanksgiving Holiday so we made an appointment for the following Monday. He arrived on time and found that a motor had burned out on one part of the ice maker. He came back the following morning with one and replaced the defective one.
