It's a bad situation. I am in litigation against them so I can not comment. When all is settled I'll repost the horrid details. But they SERIOUSLY overcharge so be careful! They wanted to charge almost $4k for one tow to their shop. Not to mention all the "admin fees." To top that off, everyone I spoke to on the phone was very rushed and rude, absolutely no customer service training. The main guy who answers does not want to talk or even hear what you have to say before giving you someone else's number to contact. Then when we go to call to ask about the ludicrous quote that was sent to us, there was no response. Overall, a terrible experience. I'm driving cross country to start a new job, and all of a sudden, my Volkswagen Jetta has a power surge on the freeway and engine lights come on, and of course I'm stressed out. I call the Volkswagen dealership of South Mississippi and they give me E & M auto parts and towing. Kyle showed up within 10 minutes, hooked my car up and brought me over to the Volkswagen dealership. The prices were great, Kyle was friendly, professional, and gave me a receipt for my insurance reimbursement. If I could give less than 1, I would. Firstly, whoever answers the phone is not very friendly. My car was towed after an accident. The ins took their sweet time so I had to pay to get may car, no issue. I get a certified letter telling me what my balance is. I say okay, add storage for the time lapsed between the tow and pick up date and figure what I owe them is approximately $1800. So, imagine my surprise when I was told it would be $2250 to get my car. When I demanded to know how that mathed, I was asked what I thought it should be. Showing him my copy of the letter he sent and explaining I only had 8 days storage to add, my total should be less than $1800. He said " I'm the HNIC so I can fix it". Except he said that acronym in whole, with the HARD ER! I found this extremely offensive and disrespectful. In addition, I had to pay all that money in CASH. I can't not even believe that's legal. I think this is a shady company, would not recommend anyone use them and will be calling the police department that ordered the tow truck and let them know about this as well. Incredibly helpful and FAST! I needed repairs on my vehicle and was afraid to drive it the distance needed to reach the shop. I called several towing companies from google search and received no response. Both my shop and a friend highly recommended E&M Towing. I see why! Dispatch was very friendly and understanding. The tow truck driver was so kind. He took my keys, handled the whole hookup and was very careful my vehicle. Great company! Very rude, don't listen My nephew works offshore so of course he keeps his debit card turned off because of hackers and it has happened to him numerous times. The guy tried running payment it declined he got so upset for no reason when we already had supposedly had it worked out. I had the unfortunate experience of breaking down while visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I was staying in Bay St. Louis and broke down in Biloxi. It was extremely hot that day! Called for tow through my car insurance, never came. Time was running out, garages said they could not get to my car for days. Everything was closing . It was a real problem as I had to decide where I would have the car towed, get it fixed, and how would I get back to the hotel and then back to where I had my car towed, how long would this all take, etc. I then contacted E & M Towing of Mississippi. I immediately called and a lady promptly and courteously helped me. Jeremy showed up and I was nervous as can be. It was a disaster to me but he listened to my concerns and offered the best solutions allaying my fears, he made contacts, so that my car went to the dealership in Gulfport, I got a rental, etc. Jeremy went the extra mile for me. I cannot express my gratitude enough for his expertise in dealing with situations like this. I would use E & M towing over again in a heartbeat and hope to get Jeremy! read more

I would give them NO stars but the app won't let me. I agree with Bill, these people are the pits. My insurance paid for storage so I could salvage the contents of my 33' RV that was blown off of the interstate by a gust of wind and flipped. John Roberts, the owner, seemed to think it was all HIS stuff (no), wanted my RV key (no) and wanted us off of his property NOW, when we had permission from several people in the office to be there hauling my things out. He was the only bad apple in the bunch. That Friday he seemed to have drained the bottle because he threw a fit about us being there, called me names (I'm age 73, 5' 1" female & never call anyone names), threatened my friend, 75, with an empty water bottle (!) and was unruly in general. He threatened to call the police and I wish I had done so. I pity the people working with him. My Travelers insurance company made arrangements to take my RV to an honest salvage lot run by professionals.Was very happy to get my RV moved to another place. WARNING, his lot has rats and because my RV was broken apart in some places, they got inside. Ick/ugh! Add in several rain showers and it was an unholy mess! We got what we could out of there in three days under very adverse conditions. Don't go there!!! read more

If you own a company or manage a company that authorizes vehicles to be towed off of your lot, DO NOT GIVE E&M towing your business!!!!!! If you need a towing company PERIOD, do NOT call E&M Towing!!!! I parked in front of the convention center this weekend ( not technically a valid parking place- but you all know everyone parks there when parking is overflowing ) soooo many people parked alongside each other there all weekend for the crawfish festival, as they do every year and for every event. There are no "no parking" signs there... and I told one of the sweatman security guards that I was leaving my car there and the guard said it would be fine. I, and many, have not only parked here for years, but you always see people parked here! Even if you do not park there yourself! I was told after asking, it would be fine, so I felt like my car was secure. Well it wasn't... it was called in to tow my car. E&M towing said sweatman security called it in, even though their guard told me it would be fine. Either way... that towing company has a job to do and were called... I get it! Business is business. But the coliseum and sweatman called Sunday afternoon when the event was basically over with and their lot would basically be empty except for the ransom cars parked here and there. Was my car really hurting anything??? Mine and the other 10-15 other parked there during the highest traffic times didn't seem to bother anyone. Lol but an empty parking lot??? Apparently my car cause hazardous conditions in an empty parking lot I'm guessing. But... their sign says towing fee is $185... it's $40 a day...and a $50 fee if they have to come meet you after hrs to get it. I TRIED to come get it last night. Was told he had no one to come meet me to get my car. So... a BIG inconvenience since nick and I both work and lose money taking off work. Sooooooo....Was up there this morning by 10:30... charged 283.55 (two days storage!!!) my car was not even close to being up there in a 24 hour time frame. Such a scam!!!!!! They have it to where you're going to pay that two days regardless if you get it Day one or day two. I work the fee of 185 + 40+ 7% tax on my phone and corrected the lady at the desk. And she says no, you have to pay TWO days storage... REALLY? ... my car wasn't here two days and not even close to one entire day. You towed my car literally maybe a 15 minute drive away! But E&M could have went ahead and charged me the $10 extra dollar to get it last night and not made us lose work and extra money. But wouldn't send anyone. And also, still charged me a second day with it being there such a small amount of time. That's just taking advantage of people and such a scam And if you guys didn't know that tow companies are required to call your vehicles in when towing to make sure that it's isn't stolen etc etc, they do have to. And they called in the wrong make when my car says the make plain as day in several spots of my car. Why would they do that? So possibly I couldn't find my car and the fees would be so outrageous that I couldn't afford to get it out???? So ultimately their company could maybe keep my car???? Your guess is as good as mine. But that's what I'm thinking!!! I have a Flex... they called in an edge! My car says flex in at least 3 spots on the outside of it. I think it was so they could keep my car longer as I struggle to find it personally. I don't know how else you'd make a clerical error like that since it's obviously part of you following the law and the job you do EVERY day. DO NOT USE THEM! Share this too! And if you or a friend own a towing company, share their business on here and I'll help their name get out here so that it limits the amount of people who will call E&M! They have a mechanics shop too!!!!!! If they're charging people like this and sleep good at night, I wouldn't let them work on my vehicle for anything!!!!! At the moment I can't speak about the office staff but the after hours answering service staff was extremely rude. I called in reference to my car to see when I could gwt it and how much it would cost. Yes I was in the wrong for parking where I shouldn't. I wasn't upset or even annoyed that I had to call 5 times before anyone picked up. All I needed was the next time they were open and how much it would cost. The guy on the other end couldn't tell me that, it's understandable because it's the after hours answering service so they probably didn't have access to that info. Here's where things get rude on their end, when I mentioned to the person that yes I was in the wrong and no im not upset that I got towed he stopped me mid sentence and said "No you're not listening to me" then began to lecture me as though I was a child, I am not. And instead of ending the call calmly he kept lecturing me and ranting about everything I did wrong. I already know I did wrong. He had no reason to go off on me like that. Please don't ever use this towing service if you want repeat customers. I promise that the after hours staff will verbally abuse them and treat them like dirt. read more

He went out of his way to ensure that the car was being taken care of before leaving me at the service provider. Jeremy was super nice, too. Tonight we are thanking God for E&M Towing and Storage, especially for your manager, Jeremy. Our pregnant daughter-in-law, a Navy Reservist, was in route from Central Louisiana to Pensacola, Florida, for drill when she had the unfortunate experience of a blowout. She was stranded for over an hour on the Biloxi River Bridge late at night. No one stopped to help. One towing company said it would be 2 hours before they could respond. We called E&M on a recommendation from a friend who lives near Gulfport. Jeremy, of E&M Towing, said he could respond just let him know when. While talking with our daughter in law about E & M, she said "oh, the tow truck just got here." We called Jeremy back to let him know the "other" tow truck had arrived. Jeremy said, "yes ma'am, it's me. I'm here." Jeremy did not wait for us to call him back! He just went to help! Jeremy changed her tire and followed her to the nearest tire store. Jeremy refused to charge for the service. He said "I just want her off the road and safe. I want ya'll to be able to rest well tonight knowing she is safe." God Bless Jeremy and God Bless E&M.
