My brother recommended Farid and I gave it a go. We train virtually (I'm based in NorCal). I started with Farid to rehab a painful right shoulder (impingement); in a matter of 4 sessions, I was 95% better. I was in (good) shock. Farid's teaching / rehab techniques WORK & they're new / unique in a great way. Not done yet -- I was suffering from acute lower back pain for two weeks after a strenuous hike. We did a session yesterday (4/24/25) when I could hardly bend without cringing. This morning (4/25/25), I felt 75% better (overnight). Want someone who truly understands how the human bodies physiology works. My neck, knees, and wrist have become much better then when I first started, just a few months ago. My neck was so bad, that I could no longer wear a collared shirt for years. Not only am I able to wear my close again, but they actually fit. The covid weight, I gained is complete gone. I also suffer from Osgood-Schlatter Disease. My knees would feel tremendous pain, just from kneeling onto the floor. Not only can I kneel now, but I can better absorb impacts from jumps. My TFFC injury on my wrist is also way better. Words can't explain how much better it is not to be in pain all the time. Amazing! Was never a fan, or should I say, never made the time to work on rehab and flexibility in my training. Meditation? Ha! Me?!? Ya right! Well, due to Covid, I made the decision to try something different with Farid, and I couldn't be happier with that choice! I have 3 bulging discs in my cervical spine/neck that gives was giving me issues on a weekly basis. After working with Farid for about 6 months now, I have only had one single issue with my neck in the pasts 5 months, when I typically would have at least 4-5 weeks of pain and hell. My flexibility has improved to levels I never thought I would be capable of. I never cared too much about flexibility, but now that I have improved on it, I KNOW the benefits and will continue to work on that forever. Posture... improved Range of motion... improved Speed... improved To add, I NEVER thought I was the type that was capable of meditation. Farid worked with me on trying it a couple of times, and once I was able to get teh hang of it, WOW! Totally rejuvenating and helps tremendously with stress! I was referred to Farid from a friend after complaining of pain in lower back and sciatica. First session Farid focused on were my pain was located and what actions aggravated it. He is super focused on your body movements and readjusting you to make sure your form is perfect. After just 2 sessions my pain was reduced to almost being gone. I started with Farid about six Months ago. I was Reffered to him because of his out of the box thinking and his qualifications. He is not your Normal trainer who will get you buff... the first thing he did was assessing my body and my mind to find out the best plan of action to my personal needs. I was suffering from back of the knee pain due to prior injury from my Krav Maga training awhile back and excessive driving. We started to align my posture and work on the individual weak muscles which I was overusing trying to compensate. About a month later ( seeing him twice a week for an hour) I started to feel sharper, month two I was feeling sharper my reactions were better, month 3&4 my reach was better, I was more flexible & I felt more solid standing in the ground ( my stability and core was much better) starting month Five I started to notice my body was more lean and I gained muscles where I needed them to have a much better posture. Farid is an amazing guy with both the right attitude and the education to get you to any goals you want. You will never get bored with him because he is constantly educations himself which to me was the most important part of it. I can write much much more great things but I think you get what I mean.... I don't usually write reviews and but I always keep my standards very high. By the way I don't have the knee pain anymore and if I do get it I have the tools and knowledge to deal with it on my own. Being a medical professional myself (physical medicine and rehabilitation physician) and trying various forms of physical fitness workouts/techniques, I was blown away by Farid. His approach to fitness is not uni-dimensional, but holistic in nature. He teaches you the theories, philosophy, importance of technique and purpose behind each and every one of this workouts. He wants his students to be involved in their own well being and learn along the way. His goal, each session, is to leave you with a sense of not only a physical workout, but a mental one as well.
