After spending the better half of two years determining where in NJ to move our family from Westchester when the time arrived, we zeroed in on Berkeley Heights. We did A LOT of research online to find the best mix of housing, schools, taxes, value, sense of community, commute to NYC - the whole 9 yards to come to this decision. Naturally, we sought online reviews to find our resident expert broker - someone who lives in the community and has a great deal of local knowledge. I can't express how fortunate we were to find Barbara. It's been about 4 months since I initially called Barbara one evening with a list of 5 properties that we were interested in seeing (the following day nonetheless), but I feel that I have known her my whole life. That call easily lasted a half hour as she took the time to listen to our wants, needs, ask about the things we never thought about, and chat about life in general - just as an old friend would. Aside from being very personable, her understanding of the market conditions and home values is spot on. Of all the homes we viewed that weekend, she correctly called what the likely contract price would be spot on for 4 out of the 5 homes. The one she had wrong was the one we bought! She negotiated hard on our behalf and was able to seal the deal at a favorable price - not to mention at 10:30pm, way outside of normal business hours, and in the middle of her evening out at a nice restaurant. Barbara works tirelessly to ensure the highest quality of service for her clients, and it is self evident. Phone calls, emails, or text message your preferred communication channel? No problem... they're all her's too. Think you need to follow up about the status of negotiation, or contract - don't bother - she's a step ahead of you and the answer is already in you inbox. Very much on top of her game. I can say without question that I am grateful to have worked with Barbara and the RE/MAX Integrity Advantage team. I am even more so to now have her as a friend and neighbor. Thank you Barbara for making my family's dream come true.
