My experience at E2 has been a blessing. Prior to coming I was intentionally disconnected from church due to previous experiences. I have been in church 35+ years and have not felt as loved on, non-judged, and as welcome as I feel here. My journey here has taught me to give more grace to others, celebrate the wins for Jesus, be a giver to others and not just receive for myself. As a volunteer, I love that I can be active in a part of someone else's journey to finding Jesus. Witnessing so many people giving their lives to Christ is the ultimate blessing. Coming to E2 has propelled me into the relationship with Jesus and a Christian community I had been praying for. I'm proud to call it my church home.

E2 Church is here so that those far from God will be made alive in Christ! The worship experiences are phenomenal and engaging, and families and children of ALL ages are welcome. The Sunday messages delivered by Pastor Jared are so engaging and relatable. Whether you have been around the church for a long time, or simply would like to know more about why we are so passionate for Christ, please join us at E2. Here, it feels like Family!

Awesome to see all the volunteers so early in the morning setting up. Before 7am on a Sunday..

I'm still stoked coming here every Sunday. So much that I started volunteering to help continue the momentum that someone started before me. The friendliest and caring group of people I've ever met anywhere hands down. Trust me I don't put my hands down a lot for anyplace let alone a church of all places. The funny thing is the word from the Pastor is so good my hand goes up the whole time. So from holding it down to holding it up Elevation Church is my home! God is good :) #ComeSitWithMe #ElevationChurch #PicturesDoesNotDoJustice #SPFFGWBRILIC

The Parking Team here is so great! They are here rain or shine!!

I started attending Elevation Sacramento In October 2014. From the very beginning, the volunteers here have been welcoming and friendly. I was seeking God and a foundation for my (and my kids) faith; this church plugged us in throughly. The worship experience is similar to that of attending a concert and I can feel the Holy Spirit surrounding me while Pastor Steven is giving me God's word. This church speaks life into me and my kids. I feel so alive and invigorated after each Worship Experience! After being someone who was just standing in the worship experience, My kids, my fiancé and I have started to volunteer as well. We each have our own sweet spot at that we gift the church. The guidance here is never ending; I love the vision casting that the extension director, Q Nguyen, gives us before each Worship Experience. I can not say enough about how this church has lifted my family into a place that we would have never imagined pre-October 2014. Thank you ^Sacramento!!

When I found Harvest Church and met Pastor John and Pastor Elizabeth, I immediately felt welcomed. They are some of the most humble, loving, kind, and authentic people I have ever met. The other pastors are also kind and welcoming. They have a wonderful staff at Harvest. I've attended churches in the Sacramento area for many years, including one I attended for over 11 years, and never once did I feel as welcomed and embraced as I did at Harvest Church. What really stood out to me is how much this church pours into the community. From grief counseling, marriage classes, care giver support classes to mission trip opportunities, you can truly see their heart for serving others and giving back. I believe that is exactly what a church should do, not only receive, but also help, support, and love the community around them. I highly recommend Harvest Church to anyone looking for a place to worship, grow spiritually, and genuinely feel at home. I'm so thankful that my family found this beautiful church so close to our home.

Inside the building, there's a café selling pastries and specialty coffee with comfortable seating areas. Restrooms were clean, bright, and spacious with plenty of stalls. The women's restroom also includes a nursing/changing room for mothers and babies. The worship center itself has very high ceilings and feels bright, airy, clean, and well air-conditioned without being overly cold. The church appears to have a very organized and fully functional volunteer team including worship, musicians, ushers, kids ministry, and even a rotating sign language interpretation team for both worship and sermon. Worship music is modern contemporary Christian music (Elevation Worship, etc.). A nice touch was that after each song, they displayed the song title and credited the artist on screen. They provide printed sermon notes, which helps the congregation stay engaged and take notes during teaching. On the back side are weekly Life Group discussion questions and prayer note sections for the upcoming week. At the end of service, there is a prayer team (around 10 people at the front) available for anyone wanting personal prayer. This week they also launched church merchandise: hats for $20 and t-shirts for $16. The sermon itself was Bible-based and taught in depth. Their Life Groups include categories for adults, marriage & family, men, women, and elders. A couple areas for improvement: - I didn't notice any traffic coordinators in the parking lot. - The OHP/lyrics coordinator missed several song lyric transitions during worship, which made it harder for some people unfamiliar with the songs to continue singing along smoothly. Overall, the church felt welcoming, organized, and focused on both worship and biblical teaching.

The church has a welcoming atmosphere, and accessible for wheelchairs with no stairs and easy access to enter and exit the building. Also pretty much everyone thoughtfully carries a bible on hand and a notebook ready for the sermon. People truly get to learn the gospel here. I had never really taken the time prior (as a former catholic) to actually understand and break down scripture. I appreciate that Redeemer Bible Church goes deeper than songs and do's and don'ts. The pastors here have been so diligent in the thought process that goes into every sermon, to truly build our knowledge in understanding the word of God. For all days of the week not just one. The church is so diverse and even has many home groups that meet throughout the week. So grateful to be apart of this sweet church here in Elk Grove!

I served under Pastor Justin for approximately 16 years, first at Grace Bible Church in Fair Oaks…read moreand later at Redeemer Bible Church. Because of the length of time I spent there, I believe I have a meaningful perspective on my experience with the church's leadership. Throughout those years, I repeatedly experienced Justin as harsh, dismissive, and lacking the humility and compassion that I personally believe Scripture calls pastors to demonstrate. While others may have had different experiences, this was consistently mine over many years. During my marriage, I repeatedly reached out to Justin, his wife Katelyn, and the elders seeking help regarding serious concerns within my home. I brought these concerns to church leadership on numerous occasions, hoping for biblical guidance, protection, and accountability. Instead, I felt my concerns were minimized or dismissed. One conversation has stayed with me. During a meeting with Justin and other elders, Justin stated words to the effect of, "If I punched my wife in the face ten years ago, that doesn't make me an abuser," and that if I brought my concerns before a judge, the judge would likely see my husband as "a good man with good character." Hearing those statements while seeking help was deeply discouraging. As I continued raising concerns, I felt increasing pressure to stop discussing what I believed was abuse and to reconcile by bringing my husband back into the home. During that same period, I understood that the church was providing financial assistance to my husband for over a year while my children and I were struggling financially. I also became aware that after receiving financial assistance from the church, he purchased a $300 tattoo. That was very difficult for me to understand. I also raised concerns about my husband's conduct and judgment that I believed church leadership should carefully evaluate before continuing to recommend him for ministry opportunities. From my perspective, those concerns were not taken seriously. Eventually, after continuing to advocate for myself and my children, I was placed under church discipline and my membership was removed. The process left me feeling isolated rather than cared for, and I felt discouraged from maintaining relationships within the church community. Because of my experience, I would encourage anyone in an abusive or destructive marriage to carefully consider whether this church is equipped to provide the kind of support and protection they may need. I also felt there was very little support or discipleship available for women navigating these situations. I was left feeling isolated and carrying that burden largely on my own. Every situation is different, but my experience was that preserving the marriage was prioritized over fully hearing and addressing my concerns. For those in abusive marriages who are looking for a biblical perspective, I found the book Abused, Abandoned and Divorced by Steve Swartz to be a valuable resource that helped me process issues I did not feel were adequately addressed during my time at this church. I recognize that others may have had positive experiences here. This review reflects only my own experience after serving under this leadership for sixteen years.

I hadn't been to church in over 15 years due to not having a car for a very long time, and many difficulties in life during that period. When my mother and I entered through the narthex, we immediately smelt candles and the intensity of the Holy Spirit increased as we went into the church proper. It's always clean and bright in the church, never austere and without natural light filtering in. That's one thing I really love about this parish, it's full of light. We were looking for a traditional church, not one of those mega churches or the auditorium experience, and I found GSCC for us. We're so glad that we settled here afrer planning our visit on August 3rd! We met a nice lady by the name of Laura, and she explained what GSCC was like, and then on another day we went to introduce ourselves at the parish office. Our welcome was extremely warm and genuine; we've been attending Saturday mass since August 10th and we love this church. The people are very nice and the order of mass is well done. I love looking at all of the bulletins for upcoming festivities or gatherings, and the displays of memorabilia. While we were finishing up our prayers kneeling in the pews, my mother had a vision of a glowing white cross appearing while her eyes were shut and she later told me about it when we got home. That's how we both knew - after exchanging our signs that we received - that we were "home." I will say that the choir is very talented as musicians and singers. I've learned the songs relatively fast for the amount of time I've been attending mass, and it's always a joy to hear and see them perform. Do I recommend GSCC? Absolutely! Pay a visit and see for yourself, it's a beautiful church and kind community, no matter your denomination.
