I'm updating my review to gleefully state that this restaurant serves amazing dim sum. Just another reason to love this local gem.

This is our new go to place. Im convinced this place has the best Kung pao and hot and sour soup ever. Can't wait to come back here for sure.

EA Seafood is exactly the Chinese restaurant I've been hoping for in LB. Great menu, including a lunch menu that is a fantastic deal, and dim sum. Food is always delicious.

The only downside to this place is the small, busy parking lot. However, street parking is available--just be mindful of restrictions, especially on Tuesdays. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was packed with flavor but not overly sauced or seasoned, and none of the dishes left you feeling heavy. I especially enjoyed the red bean pig bun--it wasn't too sweet, and the bun itself was perfectly steamed

The team had a nice lunch here. We left really full and satisfied. Everyone agreed the flavors were good and satisfying. Ordered and our food was on the table seemingly in 15 minutes or so.

FOOD: the food was 4 1/2 stars. We had... Thai tea- the tea was tasty and not a drop spilled. Mongolian beef- this dish was delicious and was Kevin's favorite of all the dishes that we tried. I agree it was full of flavor and the meat was very tender. Honey walnut shrimp- the shrimp were huge and properly butterflied. I get really turned off by remnant poo veins in shrimp. There could've been more walnuts. Rock cod in black bean sauce- I love this dish, and I feel very healthy when I eat it. There was lots of tender fish. This was my favorite dish of all that we tried. The rock cod in black bean sauce and the Mongolian beef are available for the lunch special. With the lunch special, you get an egg roll, soup, and either steamed or fried rice. I felt that both the steamed and fried rice were bland by themselves. That ended up being a good thing because when you add the rice to the dishes with sauce, the flavor goes up exponentially. The hot and sour soup that came with the lunch specials was one of the best I've had. I'm a big fan of hot and sour soup over egg flower soup. Kevin liked it too, but not as much as he likes egg flower soup. SERVICE: I picked up my phone order and Andrew had everything nicely packaged, and it traveled well. He was pleasant and professional. AMBIENCE: I ordered food to go, but I am very familiar with the inside of this restaurant. I used to come here in the late 80s/early 90s when it was a Japanese restaurant called Kinokawa. The inside is pretty much how it was back then except for newer and missing the sushi bar. The restaurant is dark and spacious.

A couple of weeks ago a group of us dined a EA Seafood. I've never had Black Pepper Beef (fliet mignon) this tender. We had two orders. Try the Peking Duck platter. It is amazing. Very nice atmosphere. Outstanding service and the prices are reasonable. Plenty of free parking in front.

I'm glad I drove a little bit further to try this spot. The outside looks a bit sketched but the inside looks quite nice. It's Japanese theme and gives you a lot of private space. I was craving some Chinese food and this spot has decent flavors. I got the mixed pan fried noodle. The noodles was a bit over fried, but other than that, the sauce was good. I also got seafood hot clay pot that had nice squid, scallops, and shrimps. The string beans were crispy and savory. The salt and pepper fried pork chop was crunchy and bready. Overall, I really enjoyed the food. Service was quick. I will come back to try out their Dim Sum next time.

Sooo glad to finally have another family style Chinese seafood restaurant in LB (although it's been a while, I'm just late to the game). We ordered a bunch of dishes to go for a Saturday night and the food was still ready really fast. Love that you can order online which makes it convenient. We got a handful of dishes all of which were pretty good; what stuck with me especially was the chicken and salted fish fried rice which had a nice umami flavor without really tasting much like salted fish, and the Peking duck! The nice part is that they serve you all the meat with the Peking duck deboned--not just the skin, and the meat with bones attached like some other places--which makes it really convenient to eat. Definitely would be back for the Peking Duck. This is one of those places where you can't go wrong, all the dishes look and taste great. Will have to be back to try the other dishes! Just keep in mind this parking lot can get busy and full as it's pretty small, but you should be able to find some parking in the neighborhood on the same street.

Back again because we had such a great dinner last time! Kept it simple again. We wanted to order more dishes but each entree was such a generous portion that we had leftovers from just two plates! Service is low key, little conversation but always professional and pleasant. We chose the beef and mixed vegetables again because it is such a tasty, perfect combination of meat and vegetables and can be paired with just about anything. We chose the chicken prepared Mongolian style as our other dish and white rice. The chicken dish had some spice! The red pepper flakes with red onion, scallion and ginger brought some heat and wow flavor! I don't think I would have enjoyed it alone, but with the beef dish, that is savory but mild, it was perfect. Hoping to bring more people with us next time so we can sample many more dishes! I think it will be tasty no matter what we order. The restaurant itself is relaxed and neighborhood casual and we love the large video screen with aquatic scenes, but the food is very refined and beautifully prepared. One of our new favorite spots!

One of the highlights is their Thai tea, which is served with a popsicle and seems to be one of their most popular items for good reason. It's fun, unique, and absolutely delicious. Another unexpected favorite was the wings. I'm usually not a big wings person, but these were surprisingly good--crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Kin was one of the only restaurants open until 10 PM. We were seated right away, and somehow the five of us sat in a private room. It was kind of late for me to eat anything really heavy so I just have my usual salad and it was the beef tenderloin salad. They serve it up with a lot of beef and less veggies. The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! The Thai tea itself was pretty standard, but that popsicle was like the icing on a cake. The places, modern and clean. Staff is helpful and nice. Food came out in a good time, especially considering there was a large party having a birthday party at the same time. We ordered a number of entrees and 2 appetizers. Everything was pretty good with my standouts being the hand-pulled noodles and the tofu & shiitake mushroom entree. You could tell the hand-pulled noodles were fresh and made by hand. The sauce on it was good but too salty. The tofu & shiitake dish was served in a savory and tasty home/brown sauce. The scallion pancake was good as well, just much thinner than other scallion pancakes. The Chinese broccoli was good, but I thought it was more bitter than usual Chinese broccoli dishes. The fried rice was okay.

The crab fried rice is hands down the best fried rice I've had. The flavor and texture are just on point every time. The xiaolongbao is also really solid. I'd compare it to Din Tai Fung. The bonus was that they had a TV showing the NBA Finals when we arrived. Pretty nice touch and in the back of the restaurant so as not to distract everyone. We went with a couple of our favorite dishes to run along and the Chicken Lo Mein was pretty good. Crispy pieces of chicken and soft noodles and veggies to go with it. We chose to get Mongolian Beef and it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy celery, green onions and decent sized pieces of meat in a terrific sauce. I would love to try to replicate that. Apparently the version here come pre-wrapped, but I didn't mind since I was a first timer. The wrapper functions a lot like a tortilla, but much more delicate. I like the mixture of chicken, wood ear mushrooms and cabbage maybe? Textually it's crunchy and I like that in the soft wrapper. The salt & pepper tofu is sautéed with jalapeños which give it a nice kick. It's not your classic version of the this dish because the tofu is cubed into bite sized pieces and tastes a little more peanut-y than salt and pepper-y, but I didn't mind it.
