We met with Dr Slater and she was pretty cut to the chase but great. She was honest and upfront from the begging. We proceeded forward and we haven't conceived yet. But we I know it will happen. We have loved everyone here. When I come in, I am recognized instantly. Everyone here is super personable and sweet. We bring my almost 2 year old with to most appointments and they are so good about her being with me. I am excited to conceive but will be sad when we switch from ICRM to our general Ob office. We adore the staff and appreciate everything they are doing for us!

We are completely bonded for life and will always be close. For the duration of this process Nicole, Alisha and everyone else worked outside of normal hours, called and emailed and texted all the time on their own personal time to make sure everything was always taken care of. There is not a ton you have to do on your own as the surrogate because these ladies are there supporting you allll the time. They got through the uncertain times of COVID, even had to care for babies when their parents couldn't come travel to retrieve their precious baby they had been waiting so long for! What a task! I truly am impressed and if you're looking for an agency, I recommend this one. They treat you like family even when you're done being pregnant and have delivered your baby and gone home. They checked on me so many times after I had my surro baby and had some postpartum sadness just due to hormones, they just kept checking in with me to make sure I was ok. I could go on for days about how great of an experience I had during this surrogacy. This will truly always be one of my fondest memories/times in my life.

She delivered my two children under two quite different situations. With one, I ended up with epidural, and with the other, I did all natural without any medication. She is very open and accommodating with your plans and decisions, but also informs you with what you need to be aware of. I've heard of some scenarios where doctors try to lead you towards getting unnecessary procedures done to make things go faster for their own sakes, but in both deliveries, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor who supported me and respected my decision the way she did. Overall experience at the Woman's Clinic has been great. The other staff including the nurses seem very friendly and efficient as possible. I did have couple of instances where I had to reschedule after I got there because of some emergency delivery my doctor had to attend to, but I would say this was understandable. Some things are not foreseeable. And as a patient, if I needed an emergency attention, I would appreciate my doctor's quick response and other understanding patients very much.

All of my appointments were on time, and none had been cancelled. Prescriptions were promptly sent and accurate. I have found blood-draws and labs to be efficient, and as pleasant as being poked with a needle can be. The lab tech was always friendly and kind. I found Dr. Wade Muncey to be compassionate, humorous, thorough, and trustworthy. It felt like we collaborated on a care plan. He proposed several options, gave me his thoughts, and asked how I felt about each. He took the time to explain the benefits and risks of each. He is quite adept at making you feel comfortable and I genuinely felt he cared about the outcomes.

When I first found out I was pregnant I knew that I wanted to be under the care of a midwife. I was…read morereferred to TVM by planned parenthood. I was going to check out two places before deciding where I was going to receive care. I remember my first meeting with Sophie very clearly. She was so warm and welcoming and not to mention knowledgeable I decided that this was the place for me. It just felt right from the very beginning. Everyone there is truly a joy to work with and there is so much care and attention to detail down to every aspect of this establishment. They even have the good hand sanitizer! I am five months postpartum and I look back at my experience with TVM fondly. They really care about the people they work with and make the process as easy as possible while providing knowledge and reassurance whenever possible. Bri, Ashley, and the student Jenna were the most cohesive team I could have asked for during delivery. I had Sierra come by and check me 12 ish hours in and she was a pleasure to work with as well! During the final part of my delivery I felt soothed by the presence of the three and was able to completely relax into the process. Afterwards they were fast acting and reliably took care of the tearing I experienced. During my care following the birth Bri was super attentive and helped me as I learned how to navigate this new world I was in while also trying to heal my body from the birth itself. Jenna was able to encapsulate my placenta for me after I expressed concern that my original plan was falling through. She was professional and even created some art that we were able to keep as a keepsake! This really helped me with the fluctuating hormones (I was scared of Postpartum depression) and I ended up integrating a lot easier than I feel I would have without. All in all this was a beautiful and unique experience. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. I believe that TVM set me up for success and helped awaken the innate part of me that knows I CAN DO THIS! Becoming a mother has been the most empowering yet challenging thing I have ever done and I am so thankful for the team at TVM for making it wonderful for us. I can not recommend them enough!

When my husband and I arrived at the birth center, I was having regular contractions (4-1-1). I…read morelabored for a few hours, and then I thought my water may have broken. Tawnia came in and confirmed that it was time to push, without conducting any checks. She had me push for five hours. I mentioned that I was in a lot of pain and felt like nothing was progressing. She kept telling me to push. I was finally so exhausted that I told my husband I wanted to go to the hospital. Then, another midwife came in and suggested she could perform a check to see where we were. She advised me not to continue pushing. Surprisingly, my water wasn't broken, and I wasn't even fully dilated. They then informed my husband that our son might have a neck injury due to all the trauma. My husband drove us to the hospital, and after being there for about two hours, I was finally ready to push. When he was born, he was unresponsive at first and had breathing issues. I believe this was due to the hours of trauma he went through. I also ended up tearing very badly, which I think was a result of the hours of active pushing when I shouldn't have been. They were completely incompetent. They didn't take any responsibility or even bother reaching out to us after the whole incident. The owner, Laurie, was avoidant and unhelpful. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
