Eagle Clinic was AWESOME! The staff were so polite, friendly and courteous with our beloved Granpup. The Doctor (Amanda) was attentive and very skilled at looking at our pup, Bentley. He is going in for a dental procedure and the prices were reasonable for the amount of work to be performed between 1300.00 to 2500.00. Thank you for a delightful visit. Update..... we took our beloved pup to EAC and the entire staff couldn't be more polite, helpful and professional as they treated our wonderful pup, Mr. Beans. I am not one to write a bad review, but I do feel like this is important to share. I have been very happy with the clinic and my dog has been seeing them for 2 years now. I love the staff and the front desk and have never had issues until yesterday. I took him in for a simple nails trim and I left thinking everything was fine. 3 hours later i noticed his back paw was covered in blood. One of his nails was cut extremely short, which I understand can happen, dogs move I get it. But the tech did not inform me and I paid almost $40 for this service. The next morning I called asking them if I can send them a photo of his toe, which is the image in this review so that they can tell me if they think I need to bring him in. They told me that they would recommend bringing him in so they can stop the bleeding, clean it, and possibly give him meds. Then they also gave me the option to monitor it. I would expect them to comp the cost to take a look and make things right especially just for my peace of mind to make sure it's not infected. The gal I spoke to was very kind and again I am not one to leave a review but they expected me to pay $105 just for him to be seen for something they caused and for possible meds on top of that. Needless to say we unfortunately will not be back and I am bummed on how this situation was handled. Again if they would've told me they cut one too short by accident and told me what I needed to do at home to take care of it, I would have been very understanding and would still be a client. How a situation is handled is very important and it was not made right unfortunately. read more

We are clients of EAC and have been with Dr Katie for over 30 years,she's excellent and you couldn't find a better vet, On July 30th our puppy was prescribed Sentinel spectrum, Amanda told us that she would call it into Costco and we verified which one. On August 1st we went to Costco to pick up the med to find out that it was not called in. I called EAC to see if they would call it in as the pharmacist agreed to fill it as we were waiting. I told the receptionist at EAC that and asked if it could be expedited. My husband and I continued to shop and had lunch returning in 40" to find that it was still not called in. I again called EAC and again explained that prescription wasn't called in. I was then placed on hold for over 6 minutes with no one responding. On our way home we were called by an office manager who didn't seem to know why we had called, I again explained our situation for the third time. At this point having fought road closures, traffic, and a packed Costco and no medication I was visibly upset. Instead of apologizing for the error and lack of communication with the front office staff , the office manager was more interested in putting me in 'my place 'than helping me. She was antagonistic and hung up on me. Update- I asked for medication to be called in for September dose so I didn't have to return right away to Costco. In addition, they diagnosed and treated my kitten quickly and professionally. Been there for years, after 2 weeks of nobody answering the phone, no call backs and unable to schedule with their "online app" I drive there to see if they are actually open... to be told I'm the only person this has happened to, maybe I have the wrong number, their answering service "doesn't take messages"... And clearly they have enough business they don't need mine. I was treated horribly and reacted in kind which was wrong. I apologized to the front desk while the "hospital manager" threatened me with various sanctions. Not the Doc (Katie) that has treated our dogs-she's amazing. I was referred to Eagle Animal Clinic by a friend. I took our sweet puppy in for her full set of vaccinations but had concerns about a UTI during the first appointment. The doctor, vet tech and receptionists were very professional and you could tell they love animals. They were so sweet to her when giving her exam, taking her back for a urine sample and administering her vaccines (at the following appointment). I have also taken my Siamese cat in for updated vaccines since he likes to go outside with the puppy. He gets very anxious at the vet. The male vet tech, I believe his name is Jesse, handled my cat very well while he was hissing, snarling, clawing, etc. They recommended I give him a gabapentin the night before and morning of our next vet visit to cam his nerves. Out of 4 vets only one is any good they also are not up on latest standard of care for dogs. My dog at 2 years old one vet wanted to put to sleep yet nothing is wrong with him. Then at almost 5 he was seen for an eye emergency and had a infection and they did give him an antibiotic but did not know standard of care for eye pressure so it caused major damage to his eye due to pressures. They did not even know what lantaprost was. This clinic wanted to remove his eye then yet he sees an ophthalmologist vet in Salt Lake that says the dog does not need the eye removed. He is not on any pressure meds anymore because the eye has stabilized but does need artificial tears. I had an appointment to have his teeth cleaned and they charged me $20 for one pill to take half before appt. they called the evening before and said they would not clean his teeth because I did not have eye removed and could not find records I hand delivered from specialist in SLC. Yet two specialist and neither understand why they cancelled needed dental care. They claim they do preventative care BS. Also the techs here change often and some are really nasty. Obviously a problem with this practice who only cares about money not your pet and trying to get your money back for meds was a nightmare and if they cancelled the cleaning he did not need the med. if you care about your pet find another practice. read more

Eagle Animal Clinic has cared for our 10+ pets going on 15 years with nothing but quality, empathy and affection, especially when we had to put our sweet dog, Georgia, out of her misery. We've had excellent, heart warmimg experiences...until Monday of this week. Our Lasa, Jack, had been in pain. I worried that it was Jack's ear since the previous day he yelped when I rubbed it. Dr. Breuer checked everything but Jack's ear until I asked two more times, at which point he agreed to check. While the ear seemed fine and we couldn't isolate an issue, the fact that Dr Breuer didn't seem to listen to me was disconcerting and frustrating. I get that he has a process he likes to follow, but believe me, having spent 35 pre-retirement years supporting Fortune 500 clients, there's nothing that destroys trust faster then when a client feels he or she is not being heard. His actions came across as, "I know your pet better than you do, Mr. Stearns. I am the doctor after all." Will ask for other doctors in the future who have always been very good listeners and highly attentive to our observations and concerns. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr.Kelly Collins. Our elderly dog was in a bad condition, her liver was failing and we were so devastated we thought that we were gonna lose her. Dr. Kelly gave us all the options she could offer and her medicine brought our baby back. A piece of that %#@@#$%^ Cheatgrass got lodged up my Boston Terriers nose on Day 2 of our visit to Boise. (Nothing says "vacation" like a trip to the doctors.) A lady referred me to Eagle and they got me in the next morning less than two hours after I called. They gave me a guesstimate over the phone and guaranteed me that there would be no surprise charges on my bill without my consent, nor a "new patient setup fee" like so many vets want to charge, even if you are never coming back. I got my little man in, they got it out...problem solved. I felt safe leaving my treasure in their care and although it was still a little on the expensive side (in my frugal opinion and compared to the Southeast), it still came in less than the guesstimate. My dachshund had alarming and sudden symptoms (including blood where it shouldn't be), late on a Friday afternoon. As we expected, there were no appointments available...BUT, even though it was very close to the clinic's closing time, Nicole (the always upbeat, warm Client Care manager) said we could come in and wait for a doc to have a time to see us. We did, Dr. Craft and the vet tech (can't remember her name!) were amazing, Peabody got much needed hydration, meds and comfort. We got careful instructions about what to look for, expect, and do, over the weekend (including when/if to go to an emergency vet). Cannot stress enough how much we appreciate the very personal care that EAC staff ALWAYS provides. This is not the first time we've been in for *surprise* visits, and we are always calmed and encouraged by staff and docs alike. We are 14+ year clients, precisely because our pets are ALWAYS greeted and treated with warmth and care. Our regular vet is Dr. Kathi Berman, but over the years and surprises, we have been seen by every doctor there; each one has provided that confidence and concern that make the Eagle Animal Clinic our pet care home. The care is evident from the moment you walk in the door and even after you get home because they call to check how things are going. They truly care about your 4-legged family member. I bought the "puppy package" which inccludes having your dog spayed. THE DAY after she got spayed her incision opened up at the top and she was bleeding all over. It was a mess. Brought her in to get it fixed and they charged me $80 for staples and medicine citing they have to charge when things happen at home. I was not happy. She did nothing to open the wound and they made me feel like I'd done something wrong on my end. I gave her the sedation meds they gave me to keep her calm and they worked, she was calm. Despite her calmness, THAT NIGHT I noticed she was dripping blood again! So I looked at the incision and it was open at the bottom this time! They put 2 staples in just at the top! So here I am having to bring her in for a third visit for what is the most routine procedure a dog gets. I'm worried that if they did such a poor job stitching the outside, what's going on inside? And to make things even more frustrating, we've never even met the actual Vet! All we've seen have been the techs. This is our 4th female dog and the most calm of all 4. Nothing like this has ever happened before with the other vets we used for our previous dogs. I'd think twice about using this vet for care of your animals. read more

We have been going to this clinic the nine years we have lived here, on recommendation from our realtor. Made a little (regrettable) detour to another Vet closer to home & our dog lost her sight as a result. Our other dog became very ill with heart disease & she was very compassionately treated with IV Lasix. She made a complete turn-around & we are cautiously optimistic (she is going on 15) but the care by Dr. Berman was wonderful.
