I needed a windshield gasket reinstalled after my vehicle painter had not properly reinstalled it and it was flopping around in the wind. Ace Auto Glass agreed to look at what could be done. They found the gasket was of the type that should be applied to the windshield glass BEFORE installation. The expert technician showed me that he could trim a lip off of the gasket and then glue it into the groove. His creative suggestion worked like he said. But here is when the blessings occurred - the great work was done at no charge! The kind folks at Ace Glass happily sent me out with a grateful smile on my face. He said that evening that bc it's dark check the tint in the daylight and if there was any bubble or mistakes let him know and he would fix for free. Next day checked and there were bubbles and did not match the other front window and did not place the window buttons back on correctly. NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS!!!! I have a $105,000 car that they aboslutey RUINED! They Drove my car…read morewith no oil in it, and locked up the engine. I paid $30,000 to replace the engine. NOW that I have replaced the engine, I have learned that they tried to jump the car to get it to turn back on, and they FRIED all my electronics/computers in my car, and am having to get that replaced now, which is an additional $6,000. This repair shop took NO accountability for their actions. They said they didn't do anything to my car, yet the odometer said otherwise. When they receieved the car, they KNEW the engine had no oil, due to busted pipes, and I had the odometer at a certain mileage when I dropped the car off. When Caliber Collision sent my car to BMW, their estimate had it MORE than a mile MORE than when I dropped it off. WHICH PROVES THE DROVE THE CAR WITH NO OIL, WHICH RUINED MY ENGINE TO THE POINT IT HAD TO BE REPLACED. Now that I had the engine replaced, new spark plugs, and new $2,000 battery put in, I am now needing all computers and electronics replaced. I AM OUT $36,000 (mind you, I've paid cash) ON REPAIRS TO THIS CAR, which only $7,000 were body parts, and the rest were damages Caliber Collision caused. I WANT THEM TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.
