$20 for dump, not $15. Also, not the cleanest RV dump station. I feel like if you're going to charge $20, it should at least be cleaned up and not have a wood plank on the sewer hole. Or offer potable water, at the very least. Friendly service. Seems like nice management, but wanna encourage you to think about improving in this area. read more

We camped at Lake Jennings over the Thanksgiving holiday. Wednesday through Sunday morning. When it came time to pack up and head home we were informed that we could not empty our gray and black water tanks on site. The Lake Jennings dump station was full. My nephew informed me that Eagle Gas and LP has a dumping station. A quick call to confirm that yes indeed they do for $15. So with 3/4 full tanks we took the Ol' Jamboree to Eagle. It was super easy to find, right off of the I8 on Los Coches Rd. They have a huge sign in the air too, hard to miss. I rolled into their huge lot with Becky cruising in behind me in the Explorer. I ran in and was greeted by a smiling face behind the register. He pointed me to the dump station and I told him that my wife would be in shortly with the $15. He said that was fine and I dashed back out to the Jamboree. Within a few minutes we were empty and back on the road towards home. Eagle Gas and LP to the rescue! Somebody at Lake Jennings owes me 15 bucks! read more

I have found Eagle Gas & LP to have just about the best prices in San Diego for fuel. It is very convenient for those traveling in east county. Just down the hill from the shopping center and just off I-8. The store has everything any other convenience store has, plus they have a great selection of beers. Not just your Bud and Coors products, but some bottles that are a little more "crafty". Good coffee in the morning. Bring your own mug in for refills and it's only $1. Not $1.07 like some places. Just a dollar. The only tricky part is getting into a diesel pump because sometimes there are quite a few commercial vehicles fueling as well. That speaks to their prices. read more

Eagle always seems to have the cheapest gas in the area for one thing, but I decided they deserved a good review because on my most recent fill up there, I ended up pumping less than I paid since I just had to guess what it would take for a fill up. I forgot to go back in for my change and when the clerk saw me get back into my truck to leave, he came running out to give me my change. I really appreciate his honesty, especially as rare as it seems to be these days. Thanks Eagle. You've got a repeat customer here! read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE -- ABOVE & BEYOND! On the evening of 11/19/2013 my girlfriend and I were driving back to San Diego from Julian when my car suddenly lost oil pressure (we discovered later) yet managed to sputter into the gas station at Eagle Gas. After calling AAA to get a tow to my mechanic (beyond the 7 mile limit) we were stuck -- either we paid a fortune for towing on the spot or leave the car if possible and get a ride if possible. When we explained to the gas station attendants our situation we were met with kindness and a genuine desire to help. Their words "we are human being first." They assisted us with pushing the dead car into a stall out of the way yet where they could keep and eye on it for us. They also offered to assist with calling a cab. Their positive attitude was the best case scenario one could ask for when it is cold, dark and your car has suddenly died. Thank you! read more

Despite a handful of questionable experiences I've had here specifically; this family owned station tries to do well and the people are accommodating. Kamil and the brothers (Shawn and Shane I believe) are solid people and have treated my family well there. Despite my preference to avoid this station -- in part because of my bad experiences and the difficult (at times dangerous) traffic in and out because of a blind spot off the freeway coming down the hill on a busy road -- they're good fair people. read more

Location, price and service are all 5 stars. I get gas here twice a week or more. It's convenient, (right off the freeway), easy in and easy out, sometimes you do have to wait a traffic light signal to get out, but worth the price as it's much cheaper than many other places, and easier to get in and out of some of the cheaper places. Attendants are always friendly and do go out of their way to help when needed. I have a Costco card, but usually end up here due to no wait time usually. Thank you. read more
