Our new home sits on an acre so we have a lot of grass to care for. We depended on Bioganic's service to keep our lawn healthy. Then they switched our technician and ALL WENT DOWNHILL. The grass started getting an odd discoloration in one specific place. We alerted the technician who told us we're not watering enough. VERY ODD! How is it possible that only one particular place wasn't getting water while the rest of the lawn was fine. We checked all sprinkler heads and everything worked perfectly. The technician kept INSISTING that the issue was watering. Sometimes he said we're not watering enough while in other times he insisted we're overwatering. He kept IGNORING our pleas when we told him the grass is getting worse and that, whatever it is, it is spreading and killing the grass. We brought up numerous times that maybe it's due to chinch bugs. Once again-our tech blamed watering and said IT IS NOT chinch bugs. Months went by as we watched our lawn die. We wanted to trust that Bioganic was doing its job. We emailed and called them. They sent a manager out who, upon arrival, said they came to test the irrigation system. We explained that the irrigation was tested numerous times by the tech. That the problem here must be something else. They kept ignoring us. Didn't even bother to check for chinch bugs. In addition to the chinch bugs, mealybugs had INFESTED most of our shrubs and hedges. We complained about the services and even cut the weeds service because we noticed (via our security cameras) that our tech wasn't spraying all the flower beds. We decided to be thorough and called UF, several irrigation companies, and three lawn experts. Upon a two minute test, the chinch bugs were confirmed. By this time our front and back yard was INFESTED WITH CHINCH BUGS!!!!!! We immediately fired Bioganic and called several companies to fix what they DESTROYED! Additionally, we had three companies give us a quote for replacing the damaged sod (that according to the UF Extension Office) will NEVER grow back. The damage: $20,000!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you hire this company - know that they might DESTROY your lawn.

However, during a recent visit, they left grass clippings in front of the door and forgot to close the back gate. I sent a quick, respectful text as an FYI--not a complaint--just to bring it to their attention. Instead of a simple acknowledgment or apology, I received a long-winded response about stray cats and potential illness, followed by a message saying they would no longer be servicing our property. That's completely fine--what they were doing wasn't anything special and can easily be handled by another company. But from a customer service standpoint, sending an overly dramatic message to a paying client over basic feedback is unprofessional and unnecessary. I would only recommend this company if you enjoy lawn care with a side of theatrics. Otherwise, there are plenty of other companies who can provide the same service without the drama.

I had ordered enough pallets to complete my front and backyard but was short. Come to find out Mr. Crooks taken a portion of it (when I was not home) to work on other jobs. The previous service blew through my property so quickly that even though I work from home, they were done before I knew it. We've only just had our first service done by Angelo, but for the first time since we purchased the property we feel like the lawn looks as it should. He took care of everything we asked for, shaping up the yard after it's neglect from the previous lawn service (Not Angelo's service) and bagging up the year and a half worth of leaves in the yard (again, this was neglect from the previous service, not Angelo). Even after all of that was done he offered to spray down our yard for bugs and weeds following this, something we didn't even know he offered at the time. He's a very friendly person and meticulous in his craft. Not only that, but he'll communicate and let you know when he plans on taking care of your property so you can prepare in case you have children of the furry variety. Central Florida is booming with a lot of businesses and services popping up without the right stuff to meet the demand placed on them. Angelo does not fall into this category. He is reliable and will treat your lawn with the same care he does his own. Hire this man, he is the one your lawn deserves and for reasonable rates on top of it.
