I was advised the ice would be removed Friday or Monday. No show. No phone call. I phoned Tuesday and was advised some equipment failed but they would be here Wednesday. Waited all day...no show and no phone call. Called to cancel and project manager said he would have the crew here in a few hours. I said no, cancel please. I also asked for my check back. Phoned office and was rudely told check was available for pick up. I know they are busy but communication is non existent with wasted time at my end. So much for "shopping local".

Specifically, for the ADUs with polished concrete floors, drain installation was omitted in five out of seven units prior to the concrete pour. Furthermore, window cutouts were constructed below grade, creating a risk of water infiltration. In addition, after pouring and finishing the concrete floors, expansion joints were not installed, leading to concrete cracking in two of the ADUs. I have significant concerns regarding Wickman Development & Construction and would not recommend their services.

The gentleman I spoke to cut me off and said (this is a direct quote) "We are not interested in your job" and hung up on me. I then called the HR department. No answer. I eventually got a call back, but I will elaborate on that later. I decided to call the initial number/extension to get an explanation for not being interested in the job. The dame guy answered proceeded to cut me off (another quote) "Yeah, Yeah a roof I know." I asked him for his name for future reference and he wouldn't give it to me. He told me especially if it has insurance involved they aren't interested, they are too busy and (another quote) "Screw Off." Later I got a return call from the HR rep. She too told me they are too busy. I tried to explain to her busy or not that is no way to speak to a potential customer. She continued to try to make excuses for the previous guy being so rude. At least the HR rep was somewhat polite. So, if you have an insurance claim or don't like being talked down to or someone being absolutely rude with you DO NOT call Wayne Nasi Construction they don't want your insurance money.
