It's a really…read morenice, fairly modern spacious baseball stadium thats pretty easy to get to, has plenty of parking, reasonable concession options and basically for $7 you can sit wherever you want. It was originally used for semi pro Independent League ball and now it houses the Brockton Rox of the Intercollegiate wood bat summer league. The level of play is all star college but honestly and I know my baseball I didn't see any potential big leaguers in this game anyways. They did not provide a gameday scorecard so I had no clue who anyone was but no matter. It's super family oriented. A bundle of 8 yr old's sang the national anthem and there were literally hundreds of tykes running around the concourse being chased down by parents trying to keep control. A bit annoying at first but I got used to it and I didn't step on anyone. I didn't attempt to get into the huge lines at the concessions as that appeared to be a 2 inning wait and just settled for a couple of craft beers provided by a team sponsor Shovel Town Brewery. Dave who was pouring had his hands full as the line was steady all night. I volunteered to help him fetch more 16oz cups from another stand a couple of times. Will work for beer thats what I say and Dave obliged with a nice Flyaway! For a Friday night with kids its a cheap and fun time, a perfect local option for the sports minded. As the summer progresses I think it will be less busy especially for weekday games and thats just fine by me as I like to sit right behind home plate and be able to grab a hot dog in a timely manner. Having a great local craft beer option is also a huge plus for me.

And if you think to yourself, "oh it's cold outside, thank god the tour is starting" it's actually not any warmer inside. Small details, but if you're bundled up, it's worth a tour. The tour guide took us through a few different time periods - colonial under British rule (Shirley), pre-Civil War (Eustis), to Victorian/early 20th century boardinghouse life. It was interesting to learn how the house and the residents evolved over time, how the house was moved and luckily saved. Even the Marquis de Lafayette stopped here on his return to America tour. There is some street parking, but it's competitive. There is a small garden on site which allegedly looks nice in spring/summer including a fruit tree. It's a nice little site that is still working on growing its awareness and its research/presentation. I appreciate a little Boston history off the Freedom Trail, so if you have time and check the tour availability, it's a nice visit.

It's got a bunch of animals - Koi fish, rabbits, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and cows. There are also flowers and pumpkins for sale. Every year the Sheriff's Farm hosts a Family Farm Festival - they bring in construction vehicles for touch a truck, have a hay ride through the farm, and have other fun crafts and activities for the kids. In 2024, the festival was 9/28 and our family had a wonderful time. Double check that the farm is open before you head over - it's got seasonal hours. There's only a port a potty for restrooms. (I recommend the bathroom at Dunkin about a block away instead.)

Time flies when you're having fun type thing. I think it's one of the best values for kids party places in the area. In addition to hosting parties, Wolves Den has large pickleball and soccer courts. There's an indoor cafe with a liquor license that overlooks the pickleball court. Food was delicious. There are often craft fairs hosted in Wolves Den as well. The space is much larger than it appears from the outside.

He gave us a breakdown of the space and held onto our shopping bags as we walked around. It's a little hard to find, the entrance is all the way at the end of the outdoor mall. We ran into a staff member of the hall of fame who kindly walked us over. He also checked in with us during our stay. Gift shop had a lot of options, we grabbed a polo and a jersey!
