Meaning if you stay one night and it's miserable- like for instance, you were looking for water all night because your room is 104 degrees with no air and you are parched and got zero sleep-they aren't going to refund you the other two nights when you check out early. They had the audacity to offer a credit. As if I would EVER come back for another night of HELL? Also, why couldn't we find a water station? I was literally walking around at 2AM looking for a place to fill my water bottle. We just flew in from out of state, Park City is high altitude and the place is a literal inferno. Hello. Two bottles of water in the room isn't going to cut it. HOT & STUFFY They know this is a problem. There is a split A/C unit literally over the bed and a fan mounted next to that! But who wants AC blasting on them? ROOMS ARE CLAUSTROPHOBIC We had the two story suite and the worst night of our lives. The door to the room does not open completely. Same with the closet door which hits the bed. Lame design. That spiral staircase is an accident waiting to happen. Lame design. Tiny bedroom. THE CROWD- not a vibe. I like weird, but this was more like depressing nursing home living room vibe. STUPID SIGNS saying: "we do things different". Yeah, I'll say. I could have stayed at The Montage. CLAUSTROPHOBIA I felt like I was in The Shining or A LAME BED & BREAKFAST. We left before breakfast, but I imagine the whole place would smell like breakfast including you. DESIGN: I knew what I was getting into with the Shabby Chic looking photos online. They showed a bit of restraint, borderline frumpy that fits the bed and breakfast vibes. MANAGER: Thinks he is running the most exclusive, best hotel on earth. Offered us a credit for the two nights we wouldn't be staying after a night of HELL. He just looked at us with an aphasia and utter helplessness. Nothing he could do. Shampoos were toxic. The good: One star for being clean & I liked the implements in the bathroom. One star for effort & the money they spent to try to do something different.

Matt went above and beyond. Sarah was wonderful as well. The service was incredible, the staff made us feel like family and we never wanted to leave. The food and drinks were all divine. Despite the thermostat being turned all the way down the radiators were still on. Not ideal in 90+ degree days. WiFi never worked, Comcast remote was missing. We did have consistent communication with the property manager throughout the first half of the trip. We rebooted the router multiple times, but still no luck. They had whomever they use on-site to try to fix it, but still no luck. We were told that someone would bring a Comcast remote mid-day Monday. It didn't show up, and it didn't matter as we had no TV function anyway. The location was great, though. That is the ONLY redeeming factor of this property.

Parking spaces are tight- had regular size suv and would not go any larger. They want you to run DW, take out trash, wash towels, gather linens upon leaving when you are an owner. While I want to be helpful I'm also on vacation, have paid for the timeshare, pay ownership maintenance dues for upkeep and should not have to feel like I need to fully clean upon leaving. We did help but the only trash cans were in parking level and we were on 3rd floor - very inconvenient. Didn't like the fact they asked all that.

There were hoards of people all with large groups. We learned that this is a vacation club & there were no perks. There is no breakfast, no club room, parking is $25 daily ... We were given a property map, restaurant recommendations, & told to go to the Welcome Center. At the welcome center we were given a packet with 10% off a few shops and restaurants. We were offered a deal to come back for 3 days paying $200 & additional $300 or $400 when we stay. Check-in was at 4 o'clock and check out at 10 in the morning . We drove in reverse to the underground parking lot & went to the Alpine lodge room 5408. There are 6 lodges with restaurants, a pool & fitness center at the other end of the property. Our small room had a microwave, small refrigerator, dishes for 2, a safe, an outdated drip coffee pot for one cup, 1 luggage rack & no view. I was surprised that a van was bringing guests from another Marriott to our hotel. The pool was packed with lots of children. The water pressure was good, the king bed was plush & comfortable, and the air-conditioning kept us cool. The ceiling fan over a bed was a plus. I discovered that a vacation club isn't for us. All of the amenities here we have at home. After traveling for almost a month, the room was very tight. There was no housekeeping nor refreshing of items in the room. We went to a local market to shop for coffee, milk, soap, napkins... Marriott provided a list of where to take out our garbage recyclables and how to change bedding... on the way to the garbage room there was broken glass.

This is not a ritz Carlton, of course. But it had a really homey, european vibe. Everything was clean, water was hot, and fireplace in the lobby was really cozy and nice to hangout at. Would definitely stay again if I'm back in park city.

Misrepresentation of Financial Obligations: The future financial obligations, specifically the mandatory and continually escalating maintenance fees, were grossly understated and inaccurately presented during the sales pitch. The representatives focused heavily on the benefits while obscuring the true, rapidly increasing costs involved. Unwarranted Financial Burden: The financial strain of the timeshare is now substantial. This burden, coupled with the difficulty we consistently experience in booking vacations--making the product virtually unusable--has led us to conclude that the timeshare is not worth the expense. Loan as Barrier to Cancellation: Marriott is using the existence of a loan to prevent cancellation, which we believe is a tactic to lock us into a predatory contract based on misrepresented costs.

I used the (hot) hot tub; felt great after day of skiing. Bubbler broken but water clean. Plenty of nice towels available. Best of all, I was welcomed and assisted by Mike who has been mentioned in many reviews. Epitome of friendly/helpful customer service representative. Granted, we clicked as former teachers, but he assists in any way possible to be helpful. It's not fancy, and doesn't try to be, but it's an excellent base for skiing and relaxing afterwards. I'll stay again next year without hesitation.

The room itself was clean, modern and had the necessities. Water pressure in the shower was great. There was minimal noise from neighbors or in the hallway which I was thankful for. Halfway through our stay we asked for cleaning and when we returned, the room was sparkly clean and organized. I was disappointed that the Jacuzzi jets/bubbles barely worked and the temperature of the water was... lukewarm. I never saw anyone at the front desk. I did purchase a T-shirt in the lobby using a QR code. This DT served its purpose.
