I stopped by Eagle Walk-in yesterday due to an issue with my left eye. I was greeted by a wonderful receptionist and took my seat, with a listed wait time of +/- 30 minutes. As the names on the Patient Waiting display moved along, my name disappeared. After others on the list were called, I asked the receptionist to please check on my status. Within a few minutes my name was back on the display. Several other patients came in and were called back before me again. A nurse came out and again called the second name on the list and I got up to once again question what was happening. This nurse pointed her finger at me and said, "you! come here" and she asked the other patient to step aside. The nurse then quite abruptly told me they were waiting for a "procedure" room to be cleaned, it was being cleaned at that moment, and I would be next. Her tone was rude and condescending. I didn't say a word and sat down. Then it occurred to me that, no, I did not need or deserve to be treated in such a manner and kindly told the receptionist I was leaving and would contact my Eagle GP. I've been an Eagle patient for many years and I have never seen any Eagle employee behave in the manner this nurse did. What a shame if she treats new potential patients the same way she treated me. read more

My visits to this location have been completely positive. The wait time was negligible and the care and service was second to none. They listened to my concerns and treated me in a prompt/professional manner. Eagle as an organization is top notch and this walk clinic is an example of their professionalism and commitment to their patients. read more

Eagle Walk In Clinic is very nice. The office is very neat and clean. The staff there are exceptionally nice and professional. I arrived at 12:30 and was immediately checked in. Within 5 minutes I was called to the back to be be weighed, have my blood pressure and temperature taken. The Doctor saw me in about 5 more minutes. I had some tests run, x-rays taken and a physical check up by Dr Kumar. I was only there about an hour. He sent my prescriptions electronically. About 10 minutes after I arrived home, Dr Kumar called to give me my test results. read more

This clinic doesn't follow through with complete care. My husband went twice within a week's time. The second time was on a Saturday morning and prescriptions were needed to be called in for wheezing and bronchitis. They were not called in, even after we called back later that day to let the clinic know that the pharmacy hadn't received the prescriptions. We were told they would be called in by 3:00pm. The pharmacy closed at 4:30 and wouldn't open again until Monday. Called the clinic back Sunday to have prescriptions called in to a different pharmacy. The nurse didn't ask how he was or apologize. Being busy isn't an excuse. Follow through and complete one patient's care before moving on to the next one. read more

I went to Eagle last Sunday because of a breakout of poison ivy. I signed up ahead of time with the online registeration portal. I got there a few moments before they opened at 11:00 AM, but a couple of people had still gotten ahead of me that were physically there first; even though, my name was still listed first on the patient scene. Initially, I didn't understand that, but after it was explained that some people sign up and don't show up, I understood why they still would take the first persons to get there, regardless. Outside of that one bit of confusion, my service was excellent there. I went to this clinic at least 3 times in May for various reasons. All the staff were friendly and the practicioners were very patient and attentive. Each of my concerns were well addressed. This experience is so much better than going to an Urgent Care and waiting for hours. They keep it moving. It feels like a regular doctor's office. I was able to take my 96 year old mom there last year when she had pneumonia. Dr. Luv treated her right there in the office and sent her home with zpac. She was fine in 4 days and never had to go to a hospital ER. I'm so, so, grateful for that. I've never had bad service at the Eagle Walk In clinic and I highly recommend them if you can't get an appointment with your regular physician. read more

If only 1/2 a star were an option because that's all they would get from me....the 1/2 a star would only be because the AC is working and it's hot outside...This has to be the absolute worse walk in clinic in Greensboro....3 + hr wait time is ridiculous...they opened at 11am and we got here at 11:48am....at 3pm we still hadn't seen a doctor...if they were more than 3 hrs behind at 11:48am, a heads up would have been nice...Dr. Kumar was super nice but will never come back. read more

As others have reported, this place is a waste of time. I tested negative for Covid yesterday. The PA suggested I go to the walk-in clinic to have my lungs listened to. They refused to see me. I also tried to get into the clinic a few days before this, and I called the office to set up an appointment and they did not call me back for over an hour. So I missed their Covid clinic. I'm just never going back to this location. I like my doctor but this place is hopeless. read more

I went to have my foot and leg XR after a fall down the steps. Had my shill on because I have a Doc's excuse I cannot wear a mask they made a big dill out of that by one of the people sitting over to the side making like she was putting on a mask. than they ask to see the Doc's excuse which I showed them they took it and went to the back [I guess to ask some one if it was ok] 30mins later I was called back.They made the XR'S the doc came in and said he would call me in 30mins to let me know put a boot on my foot that was to big and sent me home. All of this happen on 3/31 Have not got a call yet but got a bill for $30.00 that they say the insurance did not pay for. I would not go back to this place again for any thing. Took my daughter here 1st time in August for tonsillitis! They prescribed her PCN! Her tonsillitis never went away. On 10/3, she wasn't feeling well, still with tonsillitis. I called them (since she was seen there before) the nurse said they'll like to do a televised visit in their parking lot and test her for COVID-19! I stayed in the car, She was told to go get checked in at the front desk, come back out and stay in mobile covid testing line! We joined the line got the Covid test, and was told to go home she'll get her results within 24-48hrs! I reminded them about her tonsillitis, and that she was supposed to be seen for it again! The nurse who did the COVID-19 test said we can leave , once the results come back they will treat her for what's needed! Two hours later they called and said there was no authorization for a Covid test and that they will throw it away! Mind you, they looked at the list of patients to be tested and my daughters name was on it, they confirmed her date of birth and her name! I call to get the covid result and was told that it was not on file if she was there. Apparently they throw away the Covid test because she didn't had televised visit in the parking lot with the doctor before leaving, all due to major miscommunication! read more

Beware Aetna insurance users. The eagle network claims they take Aetna but they support none of the Aetna labs. Aetna requires quest or solstice labs to prevent major out of pocket charges to you for out of network labs. I was lied to over the phone at the front desk being told that Eagle supports these labs. Eagle has no contract with them and will write your prescription requiring you to go to a quest or solstice lab on a separate visit and separate appointment. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a walk in clinic. I knew enough to expect a long wait, so the hour wait in the lobby wasn't a big deal to me. But the staff (the nurse, the doctor, and the receptionist) I dealt with were all extremely rude. Once they called my name I spent 2 hours in the exam room just to have the doctor see me for 5 minutes. I ended up just having a sinus infection, not the flu like I worried I had. This ended up with the Doctor making me feel like an idiot for coming in in the first place. I will never be going back to this clinic. read more

This walk in clinic adjusted their hours to suit more patients, HOWEVER it only has one doctor on until 4 PM. Meaning if their is more than 10 people waiting, you will wait for 2 hours before being seen. With this flu season being so awful I am sure people are flooding this place. My advice is that you bring a pillow, a book, and a timer. You're gonna get a great nap. read more

Let me preface this by saying I am a nurse, so when I get medical treatment I am particularly scrutinizing. Front office staff were friendly, efficient and professional. The medical assistant who took my vitals is another story. She, along with the other staff referred to herself as a nurse. That is illegal! She was rude, and acted as though her job duties were an inconvenience. I asked her to give me a moment to sit before she took my BP, which is best practice. She told me she would have to move on to other patients! I was only asking for 1 min to let my heart rate return to normal. She then asked me to fill out a detailed medical history paper and wanted me to place it in a visible location on the outside of the door so anyone could see it when they walked by. A violation of HIPPA, also against the law. When I told her that made me uncomfortable she rolled her eyes and said "well that's the only way the doctor will know you're ready to be seen." I also observed that she did not use proper hand hygiene before obtaining my vital signs, going against best practice. The doctor was alright. When I shared my concerns he was mildly apologetic. However, I got what I needed, so I guess that's what matters. read more

This practice seems neglectful and unprofessional. I had a cold and went to the walk-in clinic on New Garden Rd., apparently my Blood pressure was elevated -significantly. However when the Doctor came and examined me , he prescribed "magic mouthwash", a nasal spray and Protozone(which can increase blood pressure).... and sent me home with no mention of my blood pressure. I assumed he knew best. However, the next day I continued to feel awful, and an increase of symptoms related to blood pressure was noted. I was re-examined by a nurse (at my work-place)and my blood pressure was Still very elevated. I returned to Eagle and then -even though my blood pressure was slightly lower than the previous day, the Dr. then was calling an ambulance!-which I Protested! She also made such a big deal and proceeded to take my phone for me to calm down( I was not hysterical or anything ... but she was really scaring me).... so I was unable to communicate with my husband to explain what was happening and to arrange childcare. As a result.... I ended up having another adult take me to the ER- because she made such a BIG deal, In which I spent another two hours waiting to even be seen... although the dr at Eagle was going to call an ambulance. Needless to say, I was simply prescribed a blood pressure medication at the ER( which Eagle should have been able to do with an additional follow up) and sent on my way home . So NOW I have almost a 1,6k bill from the ER. It is a shame that I trusted this walk-in clinic ... and even more so that I went back after the second day. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. I have chosen a primary care physician from another practice who actually cares about the welfare of their clients. read more

Bad. I went in developing a pretty bad cold. They sent me out without a prescription, telling me to come back if I got worse. They took a throat culture and said they'd call me with results and never did. Did get sicker and went elsewhere and got a Z-pack, which helped. My wife came here and they misdiagnosed her and sent her home with a life-threatening heart problem and she ended up calling 911 and having emergency surgery. I'd go somewhere else in town if you can!!!! read more

This after hours clinic is run surprisingly well with surprisingly happy enthusiastic staff even though it's crazy busy and after hours. Highly recommend. Pro tip: get there at 5 to get on the list first. The clinic doesn't start till 530, but 30 min is a short wait compared to how it gets later in the evening. By the time the clock hit 530 today the waiting room was filling up and there must have been at least 30 people on the list read more

Walked in mid day on a Sunday with my 17 month old. I was worried he was having an allergic reaction. The front office staff was amazing. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes to be called back. The nurses/medical assistants were very nice and made my 17 month old feel very comfortable. The doctor came in within 5-10 minutes and she was nice. She gave him a thorough exam and wrote us a prescription. Within about 45 minutes we were out the door. We already see a Eagle Doctor so it's nice that they already have our records at the Walk in Clinic. I've been when it's been busy also and had to wait a long time but the staff have always been super friendly. read more

I could not be happier with my experience at the Walk-In Clinic. The doctor figured out immediately what was wrong and his treatment worked very quickly and effectively. He knew what medicine I would have to stop taking while on the treatment and my pharmacist agreed completely. I was impressed and thankful. read more

I was a patient at the Eagle Walk-In Clinic yesterday 3-6-18. I have never been so annoyed and hurt before. I was in such pain, I arrived before 2pm. They triaged me, if you want to call it that. I was insulted by the nurse before I even entered the door to go to my room. I want go into what was said, but she was very unprofessional. My weight and blood pressure was taken and I was asked to rate my pain 0 to 10. It was an 8. The nurse went to speak to the doctor. When the nurse returned she said, "that the doctor said since my vitals were ok that I could go back and sit in the lobby and wait my turn, there was only 3 people ahead of me." I was in such pain, it hurt to sit. I sat in the lobby for 2 more hours. Once called back, after another hour passed, I was finally seen by the doctor. I had x-rays, and urine test. Everything looked good.. She had the nurse give me a shot for pain. I got a prescription for pain and was told to see my primary door in 7 days. I honestly felt like I was a bother to the nurses and no one smiled. The only nice lady was the lady doing x-rays. Thanks for being the only good part of my visit. I will never go back to the Walk in Clinic again. read more

Ever since they moved the clinic to New Garden Rd the service is declining. Very little wait time before but now it's Atrociously long. If you are not one of the first two people in at open hours you'll be waiting and waiting. 45 in the waiting room is understandable but 63 minutes in the exam room before being seen by a physician is not. They schedule minimum staff to accommodate the waiting room patients. This is my second lengthy visit here so my review is based on experiences. In my previous experience, children have no priority to care. My three year old and I waited 55 minutes in exam for a physician. Unacceptable. read more

I came in looking for a new doctor since I just stayed working in greensboro and needed a physical for my jobs insurance. The receptionist was very rude and wouldn't get me a new patient form like I asked I needed a form filled out and my insurance is suppose to cover the physical and lab cost but she said it would cost 66 dollars plus all lab cost and I told her my insurance would cover it she said it wouldn't because she wouldn't file it as such. Tuesday evening my 17 month old daughter started getting ill with a high fever. Knowing they close at 9pm I rushed my daughter there and walked in the doors at 8:45. A black woman at the desk started shouting at me that they close at 9 and she was ready to go home. After a few moments of explaining and begging them to look at my child another woman let us sign in. The black woman started throwing papers, saying rude things under her breath and yelling at me to fill out paperwork faster. I could not believe how unprofessional this woman was. I was so put off and shocked that her co-workers would let someone behave in this manner. It took the doctor all of 7min to find out what my daughter was suffering from and we were out the door by 9:05. Btw as we were walking out the door the woman was yelling behind me "next week we closin' at 8:45".... Um thanks for letting me know lady, but no one in my family will ever be back. read more

Giving this practice a 1 star is being nice. I have been there twice on the weekend and this last time I was there 4 hours. I don't understand why they only have 2 doctors on the weekend when there are so many people sick. This is ridiculous. And did I mention I waited that long and they told me it was probably viral so therfore I got no medicine. If I waited that long then they should have given me something. My symptoms are worse and I'll probably have to go see my regular doctor and pay more money. I will never go back there. read more

I was very pleased with the friendly customer service I received from everyone I met, the short wait time, the patience I was shown when the process was explained to me and when I had questions. I also love the fact that the clinic is part of the Eagle network where I receive my primary healthcare. I was also very pleased that I received a call 3 days after my visit with updated information regarding the culture that was taken and my treatment. The entire experience was much better than what I have received from Urgent Care Centers. Thank you! read more

Took our 2 year old son here on July 4, 2015 with a 104 degree temp. The staff asked me what was wrong and I told them. They didn't bother having his temperature taken to confirm it, they just told me it was first come first serve. They could see my son draped over me looking terrible. They also told me I would need to fill out several sheets of paperwork. I have been a patient at Eagle Family for over 15 years so I was highly upset at this. I walked out and went over to the Urgent Care Center at Pomona (see my review on this). I definitely recommend Urgent Medical and Family Care at Pomona Drive in Greensboro for your urgent care needs. I am seriously considering changing my primary care facility from Eagle to somewhere else due to this incident. read more

My partner needed an urgent care and a doctor friend recommended we try Eagle. Admitedly, I initially misunderstood that they were only urgent care after 530. However, the day receptionist was incredibly rude, and in a cold, unwelcoming, voice said "we can't help you". Fortunately, the receptionist beside her overheard and explained that if we came back at 430, she could set us up with paperwork and my partner could be seen. Relieved, that's what we decided to do. When we returned, another receptionist was there. This one tried to tell us that you had to be a day patient to be seen and tried sending us away. Again, had it not been for the kindly day receptionist who once again overheard, my Partner would have been sent away. I recognize that the attitude of these two women stems from the greater issue of their needs not being met by management at this facility. However, we would NEVER recommend anyone to use Eagle as an Urgent care OR as a primary doctor office. One of the key pieces of health care is caring and this is something that two women, who are the front line for people seeking healing, cannot find it within themselves to give. We are incredibly grateful for the front desk staffer named Felicia, but again, we would NEVER return to this office. :/ read more
