Thought that was a bit steep as the courteous assistant checked out to make sure the battery was dead. It was and she replaced it. Very steep price though as these batteries can be bought, by the companies, for under fifty pence in the UK. Even the ordinary Joe Soap can get them at a good price at places like http://www.watchbattery.co.uk who, for instance, sell a strip of five GP CR2032 3v Lithium Coin Cell batteries for £4.99. We stopped in this gem (no pun intended) in late August of 2023 and bought our adult daughter a…read morering. (We had looked at some other places during our travels, including high-end places in town.) When we walked in, we felt that "something special." We found exactly what we had envisioned and purchased a ring for her. When we gave it to her after returning to "the states" we couldn't have given her a better gift!
