"Harley Quinn" asked my daughter who her bias was, had she seen the new video, what was her favorite song, etc. - which I could tell made my daughter feel really special and happy. My daughter talked about the sales girls quite a bit after we left the store, so they made a big impression on her! And on me, too!

You can usually tell what section you are in, whether it is toys, automotive, home goods, or something else, which makes it pretty easy to figure out if they have what you are looking for. That said, customer service has not been a strong point in my experience. The employees are not usually very helpful, but most of the time that is not a major issue because the store is easy enough to shop on your own. The only significant problem I have had involved my grandmother. She walked behind the counter area to look at some Christmas bags that were displayed back there. For context, this location has several registers, there was no clear sign or barrier indicating customers could not step into that area, and there was merchandise displayed on the wall behind the counter. It seemed like an easy and understandable mistake. Instead of simply explaining the policy respectfully, the cashier was dismissive and unprofessional. My grandmother explained that she was only trying to pick out the bags she wanted to purchase so she would not have to describe 15 different bags to someone who would then have to walk back and grab them. The cashier called a manager over, and my grandmother said she would wait for the second cashier to open because of how she was being treated. The employee then continued making unnecessary remarks. Overall, I still like Ollie's and will continue shopping there for the deals, but the customer service could definitely use improvement. They sell fake gemstones and minerals that are priced ridiculously high for no reason. Dyed agate bookends that read, $75 for what it being dyed or it being "crazy laced"? Either way, dyed agate isn't worth a penny in the geology world. I've also seen geodes priced at $200 for a small quartz and calcite filled again both specimens aren't worth anything really. However, that's Marshalls ripping off naive people again. Another thing is the fact that there's either glass, fake plants, or lamps as decor is a joke. The lamp are ehh and cost way too much. The glass again is uhhh ok looking and the fake plants are ugh why would I spend this much for plants that don't give off anything for this price might as well go to the Dollar Tree or Home Depot. I feel as if this Marshalls caters to a specific crowd of people. Moreover, I don't like the fact that the customers don't know how to be respectful to others by saying, "excuse me". It baffles me that the aisles are already tiny and that someone rudely walks in front of you or into your personal space without using their proper manners. Additionally, the employees are fairly nice, but customer service is always inconsistent. First time, I shopped here I got a cashier that didn't greet me. Second time, I got a cashier that was bubbly. Actually the only good that Home Goods has is that you can get some good quality items on the clearance section. We were having trouble finding the black label Cinch jeans as well as the right fit for a particular sportcoat. Two different staff members assisted us. I am unaware of the young lady's name as she came off as very modest, giving sales credit to the young man, Kash, who also helped us. (Very cool that Kash was named after Johnny Cash.) My SO wasn't satisfied with the cowboy hat selections, so we went elsewhere for that. Overall, this place has good Western wear selections at prices that are not completely outrageous.

I have already ironed on a bunch of my patches I had been storing for years. Love it - especially for the price: $43.30 including tax. It's sturdy and has been easy to use during several trips to the range this far. Thanks also to this employee for directing my daughters to the clean restroom.
