Earthcraft employs the most amazing people. They have been my go to company for both masonry (stone walls, walks, etc, jobs and all my gardening needs. Anyone who has ever been to my home is always polite, professional, and very friendly. I have never felt uncomfortable, and am confident in I'm the excellent service I will receive. I have certain heath issues that limit by ability to spend the time and energy on my flowers. Earthcraft has done the hard work so I can enjoy buying and planting; my beds are beautiful. read more

Honestly Justin I don't understand the purpose of your response. Was it just an effort to flatter your boss? If nothing else I believe it did validate my original concerns noted in my first posting --- the lack of professional maturity and a dismissive attitude toward my concerns and questions. Your response failed to address either point. In doing so you inadvertently demonstrated what I was talking about. If you weren't going to address my concerns then why did you respond? In the two years I worked with EarthCraft I signed contracts for services in excess of $100,000 which your president acknowledged was one of the firm's largest accounts. In spite of that I felt I was being treated like an annoying and ignorant child. I don't know what customer service model EarthCraft is following but for someone who has assessed and worked with top talent for decades I don't see how your business will be sustainable without some significant changes. Your comment about fulfilling your contractual obligations is another example of professional immaturity. EarthCraft is a service provider in a market that is economically distressed and with an older and declining population base. A business such as EarthCraft will have to rely on repeat business in order to survive. Fulfilling a contractual obligation isn't enough for that to happen. You have to be adept at building meaningful relationships with your clients in order to gain future business. The way I was handled by EarthCraft is the antithesis of what should have happened. The fact EarthCraft is now trying to regain some of the business that has been lost by appealing to my neighbor is just lame. Any appeal should have been made to me and it should have started with your president apologizing to me. Since firing EarthCraft I have engaged another landscaper who knows how to treat a client. He's responsive and respectable. How refreshing! I wish I had found him two years sooner. I could have saved myself a great deal of frustration. I can assure you that I will NEVER WORK WITH EarthCraft AGAIN. read more

I highly recommend EarthCraft Landscaping! The staff treated me with respect and listened to what I wanted and needed. Joe and Nick did a beautiful job laying my sidewalk. I needed a wider sidewalk to accommodate my walker and grocery cart. Everyone worked together to help get me what I needed and maintain my independence! Joe and Nick made sure everything was how I needed it before they left. I would also add that they cleaned up the work area before they left, looks better than when they started. Zach was great at keeping me updated about the project and it was actually done before their estimated date. I love my new sidewalk! read more

I had heard that earthcraft did good hardscape work, albeit expensive, so I enlisted their services. They came to my home 3/4 for a consultation and stated that it would take approximately 2 weeks for a mock-up and estimate. It is now almost June and I have yet to hear back from them. I called them a couple weeks ago to determine the status of my project and spoke to Montana who is presumably their receptionist. She was very kind and apologized and stated that I would be getting a timely call-back. Again, I've yet to hear back from them. I understand people are busy but this is an unacceptable business/customer service model. I went with one of their competitors who at the very least so far have returned my phone calls. read more

Came out to look at the property, set an appointment for three weeks later to follow-up, they then called us the DAY OF the appointment to cancel with no explanation, then didn't contact us again until 8 days after that to reschedule. Would not recommend this company. read more

We developed a relationship with Earthcraft Landscaping when they came to town. Living on a farm, we had a large landscape project that included plantings and hardscape. No one else would have been able to provide us with the expertise and professional workforce as Shanna and that continues to be the case today. Over the years we have called upon Earthcraft to assist us with management of our landscape beds. We experience prompt, detailed service. The estimates are accurate and complete. They do not low bid a job and then add on surprises like other contractors. Shanna's Penn State education and now almost 20 year business experience guarantees excellent landscape and design knowledge. We never hesitate to contact Earthcraft when we need landscape design, maintenance or exterior build support. This company planted trees at my house which is located at Georgetown Village in April 2018. The trees were staked until April 2019. The trees were re-staked by this company in July 2019. Now, one of the trees is struggling to survive...the leaves are wilting, turning yellow and falling off. I'm not a tree expert but all the research supports staking a tree for no more than one growing season or a year ... Re-staking the trees again required big stakes to be put into the already developed root system of the trees, which may be compromised ...very sad! read more
