A while ago (over 6 months now) I had Damian come over to fix a plumbing problem we had at our house, and I had no issues, he did a great job.
Now that we are planning on doing a bathroom renovation and need some council plans approved, we have been advised that the work that was done was not to legal council standards. We tried to call Earthwise to rectify the problem but as it was a while ago, they have quoted us even more money.
Mum is not happy and neither am I. When we get a tradie to come and do work, we expect it to be done to a legal standard. We make the assumption that tradies will do it to a legal standard so we don't have to worry about it anymore. This small job is now costing us a large amount of money and even though the work that was done initially was sound, the fact that we were not told of or made aware that the fix was not legal does not sit very well with me.
Renovations are still going ahead thank goodness, but our bank account has taken a hit. read more
