I want to recommend Charter for very reasonable car and van hire prices…read more I don't often need to hire a van but I was moving from one place to another and the amount of stuff had somewhat increased and no longer fit in my car, or the family estate. We hired a mid-sized van which I let my dad drive and it turned out to be much more reasonable than getting a removals van and we even talked them into a giving us a small discount. Bit of pain to get out there to pick it up but well worth the trouble. I'm not sure how many car hire places rent out vans too, but they have a really big fleet here so even if you want a small one it might be worth a call.

Joke firm. They didn't turn up. Everytime a call to chase was made I was told its 2-3 mins away…read more Then called again and was told there was no booking. 30 mins later I'm still waiting for a taxi. I pre paid as well. Stay clear of this joke company.

THE SERVICE FROM BOOKING THE HOLIDAY TO RETURNING TO THE DROP OFF POINT IS FANTASTIC…read more I know I am shouting this but every holiday we have been on with Ferris ( Five years Now ), has been better than last year, you can appreciate the logistics of the organisation of hundreds of travellers weekly, Hotels to book, meals to organise families to accomodate etc. but believe me, we have been treated as if we were the only passengers aboard. The drivers are professional, the stewards are obliging, the hotels are comfortable, but importantly the prices are very competitive. We are now saving for 2014 holiday and we are defo going by Ferris to be honest although prices have increased slightly since our first year, you get your monies worth and more !
