He promised me faithfully that i wouldn't have to lift a finger when it came to moving day which was reassuring as i have long standing back issues and was recovering from pneumonia at the time. When the 2 men arrived, the more senior of the 2 came up to the 2nd floor where my flat was located.....which he huffed and puffed about and kept shaking his head (i had informed the company of this when i booked). Taking a look around he then informed me that i had too much stuff and that i would need to give him an extra £100 cash, which i shouldn't let the office know about.....this was a fee to cover the 'overloading'. I stupidly agreed as i just wanted it to be over. I then said that i would wait downstairs at my neighbours and he looked at me sternly and told me that i must help with all the boxes. He walked up those 4 flights of stairs maybe 5 times and myself and his very keen colleague did all the rest. My back was getting worse by the minute and when i asked to take a break because of my back issues, he told me absolutely not because he was in a hurry......all the while, he just stayed on the van talking on his phone. To add insult to injury, he made me unload the other end too. I was stupid for going along with it but i was a girl on my own and he was very intimidating. I was shell shocked by the end of it and he even sneared at me when i paid him and asked for more money.....as it had taken too long apparently. Like it was my fault that he didn't help or that the company had underestimated the job at hand!! I complained to the office the next day and was promised a call back which didn't come. I asked for my £100 back which i never saw and im now suffering on a daily basis with my back as that awful day really aggrivated an old injury. They are liars and crooks. Do not use them. Go with a well known company that won't rip u off.......its just not worth it!!!!!!!

Extremely poor handling of my items - Like others here, I hardly ever write negative reviews, but…read morethis company has forced my hand in this case. I had a piano in storage in 2 parts with a stool. On return of the item, the piano stand was completely scratched up, and the wood was broken on one end. The company had tried to mend it unsuccessfully using staples in wood (which obviously did not hold), and this was confirmed by the delivery driver. On contacting the company, they said it was not their responsibility and I would get no compensation as I did not have the LOVESPACE officials pack my items (which is an additional expensive paid service). If you decide not to pay for this, they get to decide what counts as 'properly packed' and so naturally they don't pay out anything. My piano stool was also lost and not returned. Customer service was very slow to respond but at least answered my questions clearly. The claims, however, also took longer than the promised 15 working days to be replied to. Mind you, all of this is after I paid for their supposed 'insurance'. Overall terrible experience for a so-called 'student-friendly' service, and given the fact that the pricing model isn't even cheap, I would not recommend to anyone.

This is a great service considering they are using electric vehicles. The driver was a lovely Kiwi bloke who told me that apparently they have the first fully electric moving lorry in the world.
