We were getting $2,500 to $3,000 a day, for "one to three acres a day", just did not work for us. He was very patient with us, adjusting his bid as we figured out exactly what we wanted to do. And it was great to go "local" with him. He cleared four acres of dense underbrush, four to ten feet or more tall and up to five-inch thick, working with and around a couple of seasonal creek beds. He also constructed a 50-foot, gravel driveway, which included installing a 20-foot long culvert. We couldn't be there to watch every step of the way and he used excellent judgement making decisions where they had to be made. Excellent work. All in less than three days! We scheduled the work as soon as the schedule cleared up a bit and while we were waiting I had an enormous tree come down in a storm, falling or course, right over the road to be paved. I called Blake and he assessed the issue and added a small amount to the quote to cover removing the tree as part of the service. Very nice and convenient as I don't have a Tree guy out there yet. Beware of using this company !!Do your research beforehand…read more If I would have known that they would refuse to repair the leaking pond that they built for me then I would never have hired them. I hired Mr Henk and his son Hendrik in December 2017 to build a new pond on our farm in Mt Pleasant Texas. Initially we looked at cleaning out and enlarging an already built pond that was on the farm, but I was told that they would only build a completely new pond from scratch in a different location because then they would be able to guarantee their work against any future problems. (The new pond was more expensive that the first intended project ) The new pond was built within 1 month after the work began and I paid for the project in full. The new pond was approximately 16-18 feet at the deepest by verbal discussion with Hendrik the son. One month later, In January and February 2018 there was sufficient rainfall to fill the pond. Soon thereafter the new pond began to leak and continues to leak to this day. I called both Mr Henk and the son Hendrik in early March 2018 when I discovered the leak. 30 days later neither of them have come to examine the leak or called to further discuss the leaking pond. I called back several days ago and spoke to both Mr Henk and Hendrik to clarify the plan for fixing the leaking pond and was extremely disappointed to hear Hendrik curse at me with profanity and stating that he was under no obligation to repair the leaking pond. My response to Hendrik was that I would proceed with legal action at this point since I was unable to get the leaking pond fixed and I felt it was their responsibility to repair the new leaking pond that they built. Hendrik and Mr Henk responding that they welcomed legal action because they had no responsibility to repair the pond and they were used to headaches and Ass h _ _ _ Son of a B_ _ _ _ customers like me.
