The Crazy Kat Design Company is also known as "CKO" or "Crazy Kat Outfitters LLC."…read more The owner, Robert, noticed my newly patched vest as my wife and I were shopping in the Daytona flea market. We started to chat about my Rock-n-Roll patches, and it was nice to see he enjoyed much of the same music as me. Robert informed me that he and the owners from Byrd's leather help each other out with special projects, one of them being custom patches. Robert offers a variety of permanent iron-on and industrial-grade quality Velcro patches. The patches come in as many materials, designs, shapes, and sizes you can essentially think of. Robert uses custom laser engraving that can bring any idea you can contemplate to life. Not only does Robert make custom patches but he also provides high quality pocket knives, drink tumblers, tee shirts, hats, bags, slate pictures, award placards, window stickers, business cards, refrigerator magnets, license plate mounting brackets, bottle openers, pants, and cutting boards, which he will then custom print, or laser engrave to your requested design. Robert showed me some of the custom patches he prepared for the Troopers Bridge Foundation and Blairstown F.D. He also showed me several other patches and custom engravings small business used on laptop bags, hats, and specialty Yeti drink tumblers they ordered. Pricing varies based on the product. For example, ball caps run anywhere between $15-$35, with a custom laser engraved hat being the most expensive; however, depending on the patch size the price could be slightly higher. A 30oz laser engraved tumbler will run you $40, an XL black or white customized tee with a logo on the back and front pocket costs $25, a 5.5"x7.5" custom engraved picture rectangle slate costs $30, and a custom sublimation acrylic award placard will run you about $25. Honestly, the prices are not that bad for these custom builds. I don't know for certain but I am sure if you talked to Robert directly before placing your order, he could work out a discount if you purchased a large quantity. This shop at the flea market is not huge, and I believe he is only open Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. I recommend reaching out to him using the QR code in the photos I provided. Once you pull up the site via the QR code you can actually save his information to your contacts or reach out to him directly through there. If you are in at the Daytona flea market, I highly recommend stopping in to say hi and to see all Crazy Kat Design Company has to offer.
