He was a little tough grading my range of motion after rotator cuff repair, but it actually kept me on track doing my home physical therapy exercises. And I now have my full range of motion back! I don't want to ding the practice when most of my experience has been so positive. However, I was referred to Dr Olson recently for an additional opinion re carpal tunnel revision and it was a terrible experience. He was dismissive of my concerns and shot down everything other professionals had concerns about. He even told me how "everyone" sleeps! Wow. His arrogance and lack of concern was staggering.

Then he muscle tested me to see what and where the weaknesses were in my muscles. I had both shoulders looked at so I knew if I had future problems to look forward to. After the strength testing on my muscles he suggested we try physical therapy first. Dr. Liljenquist is a surgeon. He could have suggested I have surgery. But he didn't. He took a cautious approach and suggested physical therapy to see if this would help me re-strengthen my muscles. I'm Impressed with his professionalism, his thoroughness, and his desire to see me heal completely. I would highly recommend Dr. Liljenquist.

I was very close to calling 911. I have never been to a chiropractor but my gut said to go. I didn't want to mask the injury with drugs I wanted to fix it! So I hopped on Yelp and Dr. Scores got me in within 30 minutes!!! Dr. Scoresby hooked me up into this chair/swing thing and holy moly instant relief. My pain walking in was a 10/10 and barley walking. I walked out with a 5/10!! I'm headed back for more tomorrow. When I got out of the chair I couldn't believe the difference. One of the other patients there said, "Isn't it the best?! I love that chair!" Me too girl, ME TOO! Dr. Scoresby said there are less than 100 of these in the US. I'm so glad I just happened across their info. They have a patient for life! Update: (The next day). I hung out for a while in the chair. He did some stretches on me while I was in the chair. Then adjusted my lower back. Mind you, I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A CHIROPRACTOR. I'm legit sold. From how severe I hurt my back yesterday, there is NO WAY if I went to the ER and just got some muscle relaxers and pain meds that I would be better the next day. Today after my appointment I feel great! I have a minor pinch in my lower back. 1/10. Walked in with about a 5/10 today. I compressed my disc and Dr Scoresby worked his magic. I'm headed back in a couple days to work on it again. He is a preferred provider under my Cigna health coverage. So the money spent went to my deductible and the fee schedule is not an astronomical amount! Totally beats an ER visit billed!!!!! I dropped just a little over $100 over these two days. I have been to many chiropractors for most of my 70 years. Also brought my 4 kids to them from time to time when needed From Massachusetts , to Albq. New Mexico, to San Jose Ca. to now Idaho Falls. And I have to say that he is the best one I have been to. He is up to date with all the new technique's and take his time with you. Usually I was rushed out by the Doc after a treatment to leave room for the next patient . But not so with DR Scoresby. He takes the time to listen to my complains and also if a person needs X-rays he takes his time to explain it all to you. Also during the time he was treating me I sprained my ankle. He adjust that to along with recommending that I have Laser treatment to help it heal faster. His associate that does the lasers treatment is name Josh and also very nice and helpful. So I tried this practice and I have been very pleased how my body likes the activator method to stay in alignment. Before I moved to this area from Kansas City area I went to a chiropractor who uses Blair method and the activator method is the closest I have found to the Blair method. Once my body got back into alignment I have only had to visit 2-4 times a month depending on what is going on in my life. The three doctors at Advanced Health are very good at what they do. I have my preferences of which doctor I like to use, but they are all good. One thing this practice does is to offer massage therapy at a very reasonable price. In the event of a muscular injury, which I'm dealing with currently, they are also set up to use ultrasound on the effected area. I have found these additional services have helped me stay in alignment. So even though my adjustments are covered by insurance after deductible I pay out of pocket for both the massage and ultrasound. This is a gentle chiropractic practice. I feel they truly care that the patient gets better.
