I've read some really good articles from this paper, and it's good for the Umatilla people to have an outlet such as the CUJ to express their opinions. Sure, sure, there's always been "smoke signals" or the "moccasin telegram" within Rez communities, but when tribes have media such as this, it's always good for the people. I met one of the CUJ photographers while doing some outreach work down down in Umatilla recently (I uploaded a photo she took--REPRESENT!)

Corrin, Burt, Carolyn and their staff are amongst the nicest and most helpful people I have ever dealt with. And they are also very personable and knowledgeable. Easily the most enjoyable large dollar purchases we have ever made. This was after shopping at every RV dealer in Central Oregon and not being happy or trusting of the various salesmen. It was well worth the extra distance to get the comforting service, dialog and trust. I will add that if you are looking for an RV be sure to check with them, even if the distance seems too far. As I said, it was worth it to us to go the extra mile for this purchase and follow-up.

Amazing customer service! We are new RV'ers, learning as we go..we stopped overnight, boondocking…read moreabove Pendleton for the night. Went to open the slide, and no power! We checked everything we could think of..batteries, connections, fuses, still nothing. Luckily we had a generator to get through the night. We got up in the morning and headed to Thompson's based on a locals recommendation. After explaining the situation, one of the team members.(i am kicking myself for not remembering his name Hal.maybe? ), came out and took a look..he was a bit stumped as well. And admitted he was not too familiar with our brand of trailer.More discussion he had us move our trailer to a spot easier to inspect it. After chatting some more and explaining all we had tried, he popped the fuse panel and pulled the 30a fuse and it was blown. ( It of course was the one fuse we didn't have a spare) He replaced the fuse and we were back in business!! He refused any kind of payment, he was happy to help the newbies, and was glad he saved our trip!! 1000% recommended Thompson RV!!
