So unless for immediate usage I do recommend getting milk (and probably meat) elsewhere.

It's cluttered, but surprisingly easy to find things, and it's a great place for bumping into people you know. Prices are reasonable and it feels great to support a local shop rather than trekking to the electronic, advert-filled world of Oxford supermarkets.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and there are a large number of checkouts which are opened during busy times to reduce the length of time you need to spend queueing to pay for your goods. They sell good quality fruit and vegetables, as well as snacks, ready meals, and household goods. The large size of the store enables it to stock a wide range of products, and so it caters to the vast majority of your needs. The prices are quite competitive, and the quality is good, so it is definitely worth a try if you are in the area.
