The provider assured me when we started that for my use case, I do not need any more than 3 sessions at this time. After my third session, the other practitioner told me I definitely needed more and the results don't last that long. It was confusing and felt like I was being upsold. I don't like when practitioners at the same place perform things so differently and also have such different advice. I left feeling really disappointed and kind of ripped off since every session was done so differently it can't have been effective.

Theirs is the only experience I've had with acupuncture, but I've been treated by them off and on for years and would never go anywhere else. The treatment costs have always been reasonable, and I've gotten good results, always leaving the treatment feeling much better than when I went in. Like so many physical treatments such as massage, prolotherapy, even surgery, effectiveness is as dependent on the skill of the practitioner as on the efficacy of the modality. I found Windstone on-line and was able to get right in. I was better after my first visit; therefore, I continued to return every time the clinic was open, for several weeks, feeling significant improvement each time. By the time I got to see the neurosurgeon on my doctor's referral, his assistant was amazed that I had no more pain; they really thought I would need surgery. Also by that time, I was completely off all pain medication and only going for acupuncture every week or so. Now, I just go in for a "little tweak" ever so often. It is WONDERFUL to know where I can receive help, if and when my old back injury flares up. I have taken numerous friends and neighbors to see Stephanie, and they feel as I do about her care. As a new patient, I received a full consultation during which time Alexis and I discussed the reasons for the visit. Afterwards, she made sure to provide my every comfort (heated massage table, choice of soothing music, additional blankets) and explained to me the type of acupuncture/massage methods she would use. Alexis checked in with me at regular intervals and she also provided great conversation not related to the treatment. I felt relaxed, welcomed, energized, respected. About four days later, Alexis sent me a follow-up email! She wanted to see how things have "settled and re-integrated" after treatment. I have had one injury after another & Katrina has done literal magic in my pain relief & healing stimulation. I had the unfortunate experience of getting kicked by a horse in my leg on Friday. My acupunturist I had seen for about 4 years had relicated out of state and I was so bummed and hesitant to find one if not better or the same as him or at least close to it because he set the bar high.
