As an occasional long term customer I was shocked that "House Mustard" in a tiny small container only comes with Request for 1 dish at a time. Let me give you the back story. My mom had a rough day after a work trip. So I decided to send her food since she's older and doesn't really know how to order takeout... anyway, I called and let her know that her food was on the way..never told her what I ordered, it was just something I wanted to be kinda like a surprise. Fast forward, my mom calls and tells me to thank me and to let me know she got her Chinese food and asked why I ordered so much... I said, mom, I ordered you pizza, not Chinese... At this point she's panicking, feels terrible that she ACCIDENTALLY accepted someone else's delivery. So I have her take a pic of the receipt, I call the number to the lady who it was supposed to be delivered to. She's very understanding, and thanks me for calling her to let her know about the delivery... tells me that it's not my moms fault, and that she would call the restaurant and have them figure it out... she kindly said that she didn't want my mom to give her the food because of the whole Covid stuff going on. I completely understand so I let her handle it. About 30 mins later my mom calls and let's me know that the same delivery driver returned to her room, Banged on the door and demanded for money!!!! Uhm hello, she did not order this, she didn't even touch it!! You can't HARASS people for YOUR MISTAKES!!!!! The receipt clearly said #277! My moms room was clearly NOT #277! It never occurred to me to write a review of a takeout restaurant I've physically never been in. I have ordered East Wok about 5 times over the last few months, and it was so good, I felt compelled to write a review. If you like New York style Chinese food, and if you like your vegetables fresh, you're definitely going to be surprised by this place. The hot and sour is always spicy, sour, and full of tofu and vegetables. The broth is delicious down to the last drop. The egg rolls are pretty hefty and chock full of pork and vegetables. I've ordered the vegetable lo main a few times, and the first thing you'll notice is how big the chunks of vegetables are. I have literally never seen chunks of zucchini that big in any restaurant, and yet it's perfectly cooked and really adds something special to the dish. I've also ordered kung pao shrimp on a number of occasions, and not only are the vegetables huge, but the shrimp are meaty and delicious. East Wok has satiated my hunger and tastebuds without fail, and I truly appreciate being able to order such delicious food delivered to my house. read more

As a former New Yorker who grew up on Sunday dinner in NYC's Chinatown, I was always on the search for good Chinese food here in Florida. It took me 25 years, but I finally found it here at East Wok take out . Took me a few rounds of trying to find a parking spot but when I arrived, the pickup and order line was out the door (Christmas evening)! Efficiently run, and very clean kitchen with Covid barriers between the counter area and the customers, it took just a few minutes to reach the front of the line. Fried dumplings were definitely made in house and even the dipping sauce was not pre packaged. Everything was not oversauced, not oversalted, not too much oil... all cooked with fresh ingredients.
