They offered to fix it and sent 2 guys. One guy fixed it by turning the screw at the top of the storm door(took him 1 minute )and THEN told me it was $150.00 + tax=$159.64. I called to speak to the person in charge after the 2 guys left and left a message. Larry called back the next day saying well that's what we charge for a service call, basically said too bad. I suggested they advise their potential customers of what they charge before they do the service and was told he would consider my advice. They just lost a good customer I'll do my business elsewhere. He could've taken something off the bill. Will not use this company ever! Be wary of this business.

I had an issue with my garage door on a Sunday morning. I called around and made an appointment to…read morehave a technician come out and correct it. I was told someone would contact me. I got a call and the tech said he would be there between 12:00 and 2:00 pm. At 1:30 another guy called and said he would arrive between 2:00 and 4:00pm. I told him that someone else already had called and he said that was ok. I went out to the garage and started messing with the door thinking I could fix it myself self and that was a waste of time. While I was in the garage another guy called and said he could come and fix the door and would stop between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. I said wait a minute, 2 other guys already called me and said they were coming to fix my door, he said that's Ok. I asked him what he was go to charge me. He said only $29.00 service fee plus labor and parts. I asked him what he was going to do. He said he was going to take off the torsion springs and grease the pulleys and inspect the cables and replace if necessary. Also readjust the door tracks. Around a 2 hour job. He told me all this without even looking at my door. I said Don't come here to my house I want to cancel all appointments. Call your company and tell them not to send anyone to my address! I then called the number of Victory Garage Doors, a company in West Deptford NJ several miles away. James answered the phone: (now it's 3:35pm Sunday afternoon) he said I am grocery shopping right now are you near West Deptford? I said yes. He said I can be there between 5:00 and 5:30 pm. I said I'll see you then. At 5:15 pm on a Sunday James arrived. I sat on a chair in the garage and James immediately went to work on the door. He released tension on the torsion springs and reset the cables on the spools. Put tension back on the springs. He worked methodically and with precision. He adjusted the tracks and added a little more tension to the door load. He said that would make the door glide smoother and not be so jerky going up and down and he was right. My door runs smoother and quieter than it ever did. When I looked at my watch, he had did all this and it was 5:46 pm. He even adjusted the sensors and sprayed the springs with lubricant.
