It is a late post. I hired easy company moving for my downtown condo moving to the 3 stories house in the east side of Seattle. There was a straight rule and time limit from my condo management from dock to elevator reservation time window that comes with penalty if we are late for any minute in finishing the moving job. the original truck they assigned for this job was broken down on the road and they needed to send another team and truck which was 30 mins delayed from our two hours moving window from my condo. i was really worried if they couldn't finish the job within time frame as there was still a lot more to handle with only 15 mins left. turn out they finished uploading and unloading the last load of full elevator of boxes and furniture within 5 mins which i still couldn't figure out how they did it. that speaks a lot of how serious they treat the job and commitment. very nice and humble team and they end up finish the job at 11pm for us. hard earn money with 100% respect. they are in my top of vendor list and i will hire them again for any future need of moving company. owner kyle was the one to communicate the job from quote to finalize the job. great price. reliable team. note that they dont move piano so if you have piano to move will need to hire a separate team. read more

I've moved 5 times within Seattle and every single time was rough. The biggest headache / sticker shock was that every single time, the final cost of the move was much more than the quoted amount. So I was not looking forward to moving again... I contacted a few moving companies, including Easy Company. The first sign something was different this time around was when I talked to Kyle over the phone and he asked me several specific questions that none of the other movers had asked. I could tell that he was trying to get an accurate estimate which I appreciated. Another thing that stood out was his appreciation for his crew. I could tell this was more than just a company out to make money, they truly cared about their team. Finally, he encouraged me to check his company's credentials and even gave us several things to watch out for, even if we went with another company, like the fact that movers are not allowed by law to charge a credit card processing fee - I guess I've fallen victim to that before! Kyle sent the estimate later that night and it did come in higher than the others, but it felt way more accurate. Not only that, but he provided pages of moving tips and things that would help our move go faster. After moving day was complete, I really felt like the name of this company was 100% accurate. I wanted to leave a great review of Easy company now that we've final finished unpacking from our September 7-8th move. The move went very well. We used the packing and moving service, and have been very pleased. All the fragile items have been packed and moved without any damage. Nothing was damaged in the move. The guys worked very hard into the evenings each day when the moving took longer than expected in order to finish moving us in (it turned out we had a lot more stuff - it was all just tucked away making it tricky to estimate). They reassembled the furniture well at the new place, put all the boxes where we needed them, and took really good care not to scratch the hardwood floors is the new place. We had some really tricky heavy furniture piece that they did heroic things to move down the stairs and into the right position in the new place. I was very worried that the heavy piece could get deformed under its own weight, but the guys handled it beautifully. All in all, very pleased. read more

We hired Easy Company Moving after getting about 4 bids, all were around the same price, give or take. I liked how they did not charge more for moves on weekends (had a 4 hr. min) like the other companies did, they also had really helpful tips on their website to prep for the move. I used Easy Moving for my move (packing + moving). I overall found them easy to work with. I appreciated how on move-in day they did no block the road or anyone's driveway and had a good strategy for placing a large truck on my one-way street. They were responsive and did a lot to work with my schedule. While I ended up needing to schedule a second move-in day (we couldn't move everything on the first day), that was partially on me since some of my furniture could not be disassembled to conveniently fit in the truck. All of the crews I worked with were really pleasant, none of my stuff was damaged, and both my old house and new house were fine too. I got several quotes, and the price was pretty average. Problems I encountered (that really weren't terrible, but resulted in 4 vs 5 stars): - The packing boxes were labeled, but they were labelled really generically, like "kitchen", then one kitchen box would have items from all over the kitchen. Trying to find plates/silverware was awful. It also made it harder to unpack since I could not unload by category. I had to spread things out as I unpacked them then take them to their final place. It felt optimized for packing vs. unpacking. - My IKEA bed was not put together properly. The day-off, they told me they needed different tools for one of the screws, which was fine. But I later learned that the drawers were inserted improperly and the knobs that hold the slats in place are just gone. It was easy to fix, just annoying (though I haven't found replacement parts for the knobs yet). - Some of the hardware for my furniture went missing (feet for my desk, support pins for my media center shelves, and the bed slat bed knobs). I was able to replace some pieces. - There were a few things left behind at the old house, which was probably due to their being 2 different moving crews - Some boxes got put in the wrong rooms, which I had tried to label, but it wasn't that much (ie a lot of my craft room items got put in my office). read more

Smaller professional moving company that is reliable, responsive, and trustworthy. Kyle and his team exceeded our expectations. They confirmed the appointment ahead of time, called the morning of the move to let us know that they were enroute, and arrived ready to rock. I had multiple things go wrong logistically with building access at both my original and final locations and for every issue, Dontae, and Alejandro were able to think quickly and come up with smart solutions and workarounds to keep the process moving smoothly. They were reassuring throughout the entire process, letting me know that everything was going to be ok and that despite the setbacks we were still right on schedule. The initial estimate did give me a bit of sticker shock.
