Got my screen replaced in 20 minutes as a walk in, which was great. Two reasons however for giving a 2 stars: - The new screen is a lot less bright than the original, and it's also more reflective. It is very difficult to see anything under a bright sun. The colors are also a lot less vibrant with this new screen. The screen is also not as responsive. I now type a lot slower and have to correct a lot more. I was not warned about all this in advance. - I got quoted and charged $70 for a iPhone SE 2nd generation screen, while "$40 screen replacement" was advertised online and storefront. Wish I hadn't gone here and just paid an extra 50$ to get it at the Apple store instead. read more

They tried to fix my battery. Introduced a new problem. I go back and they say it's all good we will replace it for free bc it's under warranty still. Then they fix it and try to charge me 40 bucks and say the problem is that I use a wireless charger sometimes ?!? The phone is designed to be used with it. What kind of warranty doesn't cover the use of parts the phone is designed to be used with. Plus I used a wireless charger before and never had this issue. The staff who was working 6PM-7PM, Nov. 7th was extremely rude and unprofessional. NO MASK AT ALL. Asked me to leave my phone passcode on a paper and had me sign a paper to pay credit card. I called and asked in person what will be the difference between Apple screen and other screen, and he told me the only little difference will be on the color and brightness. However, the screen he replaced turned out to be much thicker and there is time lagging when typing. So I mentioned the issues while checking, he started to yell at me and my friend with no mask on, that he repairs millions of phones and he does not need to tell me every details. YELLED at me that he explained a million times he put glue underneath the screen so it's thicker. The craziness is intolerable, I felt very uncomfortable physically and mentally, and I almost called the police. I would recommend everyone to avoid this store as the staff is not wearing masks and being extremely disrespectful. read more

Shattered my iPhone 8 screen and needed a new one. Came by here because of the positive yelp reviews us saw prior. The space isn't much, but the service was very quick. They gave me a price right up front from a very clear list (80 dollars for my new screen), which I appreciated because of the transparency. I sat down and waited and within 20 minutes they were done replacing my screen. They even checked and made sure everything worked before I left! I had the worst experience at this place. First of all, the frame got scratched in the process of changing the back. This was not communicated clearly prior to the repair. They told me that before the repair, some machine would do it and would not leave scratches. Now, when I returned to show him how the back was scratched, he now says that it is inevitable as they use hand tools. Second, somehow changing the back cover messed up the camera so that there are multiple spots now. I think somehow some dirt got introduced when they peeled the cover. Also if you are changing the back cover, why do you require password for my phone? Additionally, there was no apology whatsoever but a lot of yelling. I would highly recommend not going to this place for repair. If you do just check everything before you leave. read more

I can't recommend them but if you need a quick fix they work and are convenient. Just be 100% sure the work is perfect before you leave and get a detailed receipt of all work done. Also DON'T COUNT ON THE WARRANTY. I had to utilize it 2 days later for a back that wasn't in right and cracked at one edge. Not only didn't they want to cover it but they kept denying they ever did the work. Thankfully I was charged on two separate receipts (replaced front and back glass) so I could prove it was their replacement but I had to fight with them for it which wasn't necessary. I went here based off the first few good reviews and It was fairly inexpensive compared to some other phone repair places. They hard to order my screen and when I took my phone in to get the screen replaced It was given back to me with dust inside and I wasn't able to use the phone while simultaneously making calls. I brought It back in to get It fixed and they gave my phone back broken where parts of the screen wouldn't work. I brought It back in same day and the guy was trying to get me to buy a new screen and said It was my fault. Absolutely terrible customer service was threatening me to take him to court. They VANDALIZED my Mercedes. They Glued a flyer to my window and stuck it down inside the door so the only way to remove it is to pay $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to have the door and window removed. Not only did they give me a new glass screen that was put on terribly, they TAMPERED with my battery and I found all of this out when my screen randomly stopped working and took it to the apply store. TL;DR: Bad screen replacement, even worse customer service. The average price in the Boston area to get a screen replacement is about $100. So, when I saw that I could get my iPhone 7 fixed here for $60, I thought it was too good to be true. Turns out, I was right. I dropped my phone off and it was ready in about 25 minutes. When I picked it up, I saw that they had used a cheap screen that was nothing like the original. All the colors on my phone were off, slightly desaturated and tinted yellow. If you use your phone for messaging and calling, the color shouldn't be too much of an issue. I, on the other hand, have to take and edit photos and videos as part of my job, so the color was definitely an issue. In the next few days, though, I also noticed that the screen was defective in other ways. The touch sensitivity was also slightly off, so tapping one area would trigger something in another area. I was originally going to give this place three stars, because for such a low price, it's understandable that they'd use a cheaper screen. That wasn't my main problem. The reason I'm giving them one star now is because of their dishonesty and terrible customer service. I called Easy Fix again to see if I could get it replaced with a higher quality screen, or get a refund. They said they could do the OEM quality screen for an additional $40, bumping the total price to $100, which is the average in Boston anyway. I agreed, and they said they'd call me after they "checked their warehouse" to find the part. I messaged some other people that had gotten their phones fixed here (FOR THE SAME PRICE), and they said that they did not have the same problem as me -- their screens were not tinted. That was a huge red flag, because it meant that $100 was NOT their standard price for an OEM screen. They just wanted me to pay more. They never called, and at this point, I didn't even trust them to replace it again. I got my screen replaced by Leo at iPhoneLuv (highly recommend him-- go there instead of here). I took my iphone 8 to replace a cracked screen and wish I didnt. The lighting on the screen is now a totally different yellowish hue. The screen responsiveness is shot. Typing is so hard with some of the buttons (most problematic is the Space button) barely working. Apps close for no apparent reason. Battery drains so fast. I went back THREE times to ask them to help and was told that the warranty only covers the replacement screen, nothing else. I explained that since the phone was working fine BEFORE, these issues must be somehow caused by their work. They disagreed. Also, the cost of replacing the screen was $90, not $40 as advertized (it depends on the model). All in all, horrible experience. My phone is ruined. I should have used the $90 to buy a new phone...If you have a cracked screen, live with it or go to another place. read more

Absolute worst place I have ever been to. My iPad had a broken screen, so they ordered a new glass cover, but they did not tell us when it arrived. When I finally got ahold of them they replaced the glass and said they would call us when it was ready. They never called. I went to go check up on it and they said when they opened it up that there was something wrong with the home button so they ordered that part and it would be another week. I get it again a week later and the home button was no longer touch compatible. I called them back and they said I should have known that the home button cannot be replaced with another touch screen compatible one and I should have known or asked...excuse me how am I supposed to know that, I am not the expert in phone repair here. Sorry that I assumed you would replaced the part with the same part, not a completely different part. This is now going on 3 weeks.
