The staff seemed genuinely friendly and caring, which is so crucial in this space, but from what I hear from others more of a rare trait to find (which is heartbreaking). There were a handful of folks relaxing in the TV room, and they seemed to look quite content, but I know the upper management strives to get more of a variety of activities in the facility that involve the local community, which is always a massive plus. My Mother had been in another assisted living facility in Livermore for over a year. The previous facility looked more like a resort, but trust me, it was not a good place for someone who cannot be their own advocate or has mobility issues, and the care was borderline criminal. There were many times I had absolute proof that my Mother was being neglected and abused (baby sitter monitor). There were many times she went without a shower for weeks or sat in dirty depends all day. Sure the staff was all smiles when I was there, and yelling at her when I wasn't. LVSLC may not be the most glamorous or fancy facility, but it is always very, very clean and I genuinely trust them without hesitation. The staff are truly my Mom's advocate and continuously communicate her status and take the time to talk with you each visit. They take care of everything, laundry, bathing, grooming, medications, taking them through the garden, singing to them, or just taking the time to talk with them like a friend, and they closely monitor her health throughout the day.

The facilities and the views are gorgeous. My dad lived in the memory care ward for about a year…read more In that time, I felt that the caregivers were absolutely fantastic with him. They were kind and as attentive as possible given chronic understaffing and staff turnover. If I was rating this place just based upon quality of caregivers who fostered wonderful relationships with my grumpy father, it'd get a perfect score. However the administration had such regular turn over that I felt a lot of things slipped through the cracks, including having adequate staffing of caregivers and maintenance staff. Those caregivers and maintenance staff were always on the run trying to keep up with things. They definitely need more of both. Things were starting to slip through the cracks due to lack of adequate amounts of staffing and my dad's changing needs. Things started to get a little hairy when his need for incontinence care started to really increase. Also, he was supposed to be locked in at an all inclusive rate (as when we moved him in their Memory Care was only half full), and they tried to change him over to a point system which would have upped his rate by another $1,000 a month on top of an annual base price increase. It was a lot of money to increase when I felt the quality of care went down due to employee overwork and churn of employees leaving because of being overworked and overextended. I moved my dad to MorningStar Senior Living in Hayward. The level of care was better, the facility just as nice, and the cost was $2,000 less a month. He's since passed away, but I remain happy that I moved him, even if it was only for 6 or 7 months. I do want to say thank you to his caregivers at the Watermark. My dad was a difficult man at the very best of times, and Lewy Body Dementia left him at far from his best most of the time. The warmth I feel at remembering the kindness his main caregivers showed him will remain with me for a long time.

Honestly, don't let the exterior fool you. My father who has dementia, stayed here for a year…read more Within the first month he mysteriously broke his clavicle and dislocated his shoulder. For goodness sake this is the elderly. Their excuse? He fell. My father never had the propensity for falling prior to coming to Watermark. Early on we were told in order to get better care we need to reward the staff by tipping them. That doesn't work, and the staff turnover rate is regular. Since my father stayed there everyone from the Director all the way down to the lowest staff were replaced. And even after everything that happened, they tried to raise the rates. When we first signed a contract regarding his meds and care. We soon realized they were NOT following our instructions. In fact we found out they were force sedation him on several occasions, which was not what we agreed upon. They also were not giving him his medication on time either. An 'accident' occurred every month he stayed there. From slicing open his pinky, to have mysterious lacerations, to major injuries all over his body, to injuries that required going to the ER for stitches. We were always told he 'fell'. The staff were always conveniently unaware he was hurt. His clothes was always missing. They NEVER used the toothpaste we brought. They were unopened when switched him to a different facility. His dentures were never cleaned too. We questioned whether they bathed him or not. Overall, if I could give this place a negative rating I would. I would caution against anyone taking their loved one to this place. Even when we visit my father regularly, there were just too many 'accidents'. One visit, I remember asking about what happened to the director. The owner just happened to be there. My mom asked if she got promoted. The owner said he let her go. Never again would we ever consider ever taking them here. My spouse who use to work at nursing homes immediately noticed the signs of abuse and warned us about this facility. He convinced us to leave here. We don't plan on ever coming back. I would caution you about having your loved ones stay here.

Pest control finally came out and set traps and told them what they needed to do but they did none of it before I moved out. It was supposed to be a senior complex but it turned into some of everything. Tenants items started to come up missing. Now I don't who or whom did it but things were missing. I know people love pets but my goodness, then didn't do well at cleaning up behind their OWN pets. Pet hair left in the washers and dryers. They would wash their pet items in the washers and dryers. Heck, I got fleas or maybe bedbugs bites, I don't know which is which because I have never dealt with either one of them before. I do know that I through my comforter away.Some tenants expected maintenance to clean up THEIR dog urine and feces when they are looking at their dog doing this. The rodents got in my bed. I went through 4 air mattresses. I didn't buy an actual bed in fear of it being a total loss. I was over charged in rent. I was supposed to pay $1499 and I'm just going to be truthful, my rent was padded. The manager at the time charged $1929.00 in rent when id.gov told her to charge less. It was a lot more going on there by other managers but I'll tell that in court. I lived in a studio apartment and I was charged more than a one bedroom. I tried to write corporate but the packet came back. I have of that I speak of. Have you notice, the owner does put their name on the reviews? I have tried and tried to communicate with them but I can not reach them. Maybe the court system can or maybe they will respond through here. I want my overpayment back the cost for my 4 air mattresses.

I'm so grateful for all the help and encouragement from the staff, especially for the Physical Therapy Department! I literally could not even lift up my leg to put it on the bed. I highly recommend going to the Pleasanton nursing rehab because after 12 days I was able to walk out with my walker. I returned home and was able to take care of myself. The staff was so kind and patient in the excellent care that was provided. I always felt secure in knowing that they truly cared about her well-being. The owners were available at any time if I needed to speak with them. They were prompt to respond to texts or calls. My aunt and I grew to consider everyone associated with C & M as family. There was always a warm and caring feeling not only with regards to those who resided there but also towards those coming to visit. Outstanding medical staff, but facilities and one unprofessional nurse left room for improvement…read more My wife Nikki and I recently had a 4-day stay at Stanford Tri-Valley to welcome our first child, our daughter Oraya Rose. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly accommodating, starting with Jeanette at the front desk who gave us a warm welcome and a smooth check-in. The Medical & Nursing Team We cannot say enough good things about our doctors. Dr. Veeragandham (our delivering doctor) and Dr. Chandler (who cared for my wife in the days prior) were the most comforting and phenomenal doctors we've ever experienced. You can truly tell they care deeply about their jobs and their patients. Dr. Sanders, who discharged us, was also fantastic; he kindly expedited our release knowing we were exhausted from the small post-labor room and just wanted to head home. Throughout our long stay, we were supported by an army of wonderful nurses who checked in frequently to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We want to thank Kelly, Michelle, Chayenne, Stacia, Suzanne, Elizabeth, Maddie, Tricia, Deanna, Liz, Rachelle, Noelle, and Ranjita. We also want to give a special shoutout to Aaliyah, who was immensely helpful with my wife's labor exercises early on. Our absolute standout was our delivering nurse, Shinika (who we understand is a traveling nurse). She is a tremendous asset to the Stanford team! Her guidance and support were instrumental--she coached my wife so well that she was able to push the baby out in under 35 minutes. Constructive Feedback & Areas for Improvement Unfortunately, we did have a highly negative interaction with another nurse, Jen, who was in the room during delivery. There was palpable tension and attitude from Jen directed at Shinika. Even worse, while my wife was actively pushing, Jen abruptly announced, "The baby's heart rate is dropping." This caught us completely off guard, caused unnecessary panic, and disrupted my wife's focus. Thankfully, Shinika and Dr. Veeragandham immediately reassured us that everything was fine, and even the other staff in the room looked at Jen in confusion regarding what she was doing. We brought this up to the Assistant Nurse Manager, Joseph, but I am reiterating it here so Jen can be properly trained. If there is an urgent matter, it needs to be communicated professionally with the doctor, not blurted out to terrify a mother actively pushing out a baby. Facilities & Amenities The rooms were okay, but felt outdated and small compared to LPCH. Additionally, we were promised a celebratory meal once the baby was born, but we never received it. We were really looking forward to that after such a long and grueling hospital stay. Another suggestion for the hospital would be to add a community kitchen or hydration station for families. We felt terrible repeatedly asking the busy nurses for water and snacks. We didn't want to treat the medical staff like room service knowing they have far more important duties, so it got to the point where I just left the hospital to buy supplies at a store. Overall, the incredible medical care and nursing support made our experience a positive one despite the hiccups. Thank you to Dr. Veeragandham, Shinika, and the rest of the amazing team for bringing our daughter safely into the world! In the future, however, we will likely aim for a delivery at LPCH for a more modern feel and comfortable space within the same network.
