It was 5:05pm on a Friday and we thought we were out of luck. We stopped at C&G as a Hail Mary to try to find out what happened. It was just a bing of friends sitting around having a good time, but they were more than happy to help us diagnose the issue. They brought out their computer, tried everything they could short of taking the engine apart and even visited with us for hours while we waited for our ride to come pick us up. Told them it was okay, stuff happens, and I'd drive down the next business day. Today (11/11/2024) thought it best to call ahead and see if I needed an appointment. Called three times and left messages; they have yet to return my calls and it's now after business hours. 11/13/2024 - Review changed from 1 to 5 stars. Was telephoned by Denny who wanted to make things right, which he did. Turns out they're having growing pains, which I can appreciate. I now have a firm appointment for 3 P.M. today.

HUGE shout out to Valley Towing of Plains, and some really nice people on Blue Slide Rd. This…read moreafternoon, my husband and I decided to beat the heat by putting our boat in the water. We got about halfway to the boat launch on Blue Slide, when I thought I heard something- we stopped to check it out, and could immediately tell we'd had a bearing blow- grease covering the tire, and the hub was red hot. We couldn't stay where we were- no pull outs, no shoulder and on the S curves so we had no choice but to turn the truck and trailer around, and crawl back to a safe spot. In my passenger mirror, I could see the tire wobbling about to come off, and the screeching noise was unbearable. FINALLY, we came to a driveway, and were able to pull off Blue Slide. We called Valley Towing and they dropped everything and came out. Instead of just towing it back somewhere, they decided they'd be able to fix it where it was- 97 degree heat on the side of a road- they worked for a couple hours. The people from across the street came out to make sure everyone was ok. And the owner of the driveway came out, lent tools, and some hardware- both extremely helpful and just plain nice. Valley Towing got it fixed!!! And the charge was SOOO reasonable! We're good to go now. We are just SO impressed! If you're in need, you'll be in good hands hiring Valley Towing.
