Road trip dinner with the hubbs; great salad bar! :-)
    Tara K.

I love a great salad bar and a good deal--and the Eat'n Park has BOTH! We stopped by this Eat'n Park when we were road-tripping in the Clarion area. It was convenient for us that they stay open late, open daily from 7am to 11pm. The salad bar stayed open until about 10pm, so FYI that it does get packed up a bit before close. It is a fantastic salad bar! It was well maintained, both clean and stocked. And there was a great variety of ingredients to choose from, all of your expected basics, plus many nice touches. I particularly enjoyed the two kinds of eggs--both chopped eggs AND pickled eggs! I've never seen whole picked eggs on a salad bar before! They were in with pickled beets, which were delicious as well. There were I think three soups available at the salad bar too. I am vegetarian, and unfortunately all the soups contained some meat product so I didn't try any. But that was fine by me, I was gorging myself gleefully on the salad bar. :-D Also ... what a GREAT DEAL! So the salad bar on it's own is $12.99, which is not a bad deal right there. BUT you can have the salad bar as a side for $3.99 with any meal. This includes sandwiches. So I got the grilled cheese for $7.99 and had the salad bar as my side for $3.99, totaling $11.98 ... it's like they paid me a buck for the grilled cheese, HA! The grilled cheese came back to the hotel with us for a nightcap since I was stuffed to the gills with the salad bar. It was basic, but still plenty cheesy and satisfying. The salad bar was really the star of the dining-show! My husband really enjoyed it, too. I'm now officially a HUGE fan of Eat'n Park salad bar! We don't have Eat'n Park at home in Buffalo NY, but whenever we are PA-way, I will make it a point to look for an Eat'n Park with a salad bar for sure! :-D

Way too expensive. Salad bar is almost fifteen dollars and they have removed several items.

Not gourmet, but very solid American home style food and friendly service. The ambiance is clean and fresh, a step up from a diner.

The waitresses were friendly, the coffee was hot, the breakfast buffet was cold and ugly. Don't bother.

Once inside the restaurant, I asked an employee about their parking, and she replied that customers may park also on the street or even across the street at the Subway restaurant (which is temporarily closed and used to open later in the day). Dominic's Diner serves breakfast and lunch on most days of the week. Be sure to look up their current hours before you drive there. Examples of their foods are eggs, bacon, ham, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, oatmeal, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and onion rings. Please see my attached photos for the full menus in October 2023. As soon as my husband and I entered the restaurant, we saw a sign that said to wait to be seated, but an employee soon told us that we could choose our table. We sat at a four-seat table near the window. After a few minutes, our waitress introduced herself and gave us menus. Throughout the service, she smiled and made courteous conversation. She promptly took our orders and brought out our beverages and foods. My husband felt impressed that this restaurant offers both Coke and Pepsi products. Here are my reviews for our foods: French toast with bacon - $13.25 - 4.5 stars - I received three slices of French toast, which were fresh and wonderfully sweet, and three slices of bacon, which were meaty, crispy, and satisfyingly salty. Cheese omelette with ham - $12.25 + $3 - 4 stars - My husband said that this omelette was a very large size and that the taste was good. On the side were home fries, which were cubes of potato that tasted very good, and toast, which was toasted well. We paid for our meal up front. The cashier used a swivel touch-pad for a cash register. As we were leaving, another employee thanked us and said goodbye.

Maybe it was good at some point or, maybe we had a really off day, but our experience was pretty subpar. Our server seemed like she had no idea what was going on and that she didn't want to be there that day. At one point, another server brought something over and my daughter asked "is our server new" and the other server said no, she had been there several years. So there was no excuse for not knowing answers to basic questions on menu items. None of our food was bad, but none of it was great, either. Everything was just OK. Not much flavor and pretty generic. Things like pancakes that you think couldn't get screwed up were boring and flavorless. Our last hope was the "famous" pies that our server told us about several times. When we asked about what flavors they had that day, she said she had to check (which seemed odd after telling us about them several times). Then she had to go back and check the flavors again because she forgot them. We did end up trying boston cream pie and dutch apple pie and they were both OK, but not anything that I couldn't find somewhere else. Overall, really disappointed in basically everything about our visit here.
