Left the town but came back in eighties / nineties for zivildienst and uni. So, finally after decades I stepped inside. I restarted playing guitars a half year ago. Living and working in MI I love scouting for guitar shops, mostly looking for used guitars, because the new stuff one can find anywhere. This place only has new guitars. (Bummer) From the outside there are two small windows. In the one in the right side of the entrance there are some guitars. That's it. That's what kept me out all the time. If that's all, why enter? Peeking inside... I see walls of shelves filled with boxes full of classical sheet music. I walk inside anyway... there's a sign: guitars downstairs ... !?! The surprise starts when I take the stair down to the basement. I would not have expected that the shop has a downstairs area. But this is not simply a basement. It's more like "catacombs". Huge area with several rooms packed with nice guitars. Never expected that. Kind of an underground world. I liked this place. Couple employees asked me if I wanted help. And let me roam freely. So in summary: more a personal / subjective experience. A very nice shop in cool ambiente. Prices are higher than what I see here at home in MI.

Everyone is very friendly and everything you want to look at is laid out in front of you on the table that you are seated at. The chairs are comfortable, the staff is amazingly helpful, polite and knowledgeable. The next time I buy "an investment" piece of jewelry, I will buy it from them.
