great clinic, small and personal. Staff nice and professional. Always willing to help and proactive.

I usually don't leave poor reviews, especially for medical professionals, but I have had the absolute worst experience with Ebert Family Clinic. I never have seen a doctor here, but only nurse practitioner, Tara Taylor. She is so insensitive and only available about half days a week in the office. I have seen her on two occasions and both completely unsatisfactory, not getting answers for the concerns and questions I had. The most recent visit, she prescribed the incorrect amount of my antidepressant which I have been taking for 10+ years. She has also messed up my prescriptions before, telling me I didn't need my thyroid medicine, then prescribing it, then not allowing it again. I honestly don't think she knows what she is doing. My husband has seen her as well and agrees she is not professional at all. On top of all this, The billing system of this office is ridiculously unorganized, as my invoice was not sent through insurance and I had to contact Anne, the billing lady many many times, to not be called back. She told me I had to call by a certain date, which I did, only to not hear back. Dr Chris is the BEST Doctor in the Rockies Mountains!! She truly cares about everyone of her patients. My daughter has special needs and Dr Chris has been the Best Doctor with knowledge of what's going on. Dr Chris gives you her cell phone number in case you need to get ahold of her after hours. ( You won't find another doctor who gives you their cell phone to contact after hours) We are truly blessed to have a great doctor in our area!! Very kind and understanding personnel. We missed the bus and were almost an hour late for our appointment. No problem. They also gave good directions to the office. The doctors and PAs were all very professional, courteous and child-friendly, and most of all, reassuring. read more

Dr Chris rocks! The most accessible doctor I have ever met, and I can't say how much that means as a mom when your child is sick or hurt. She has been available to talk or meet every time I have needed her after hours. This evening Dr Chris left the gym to meet me; my daughter was completely taken care of (stitches and all) in less than an hour after she fell at the playground. The staff is always warm and professional as well; Maria was particularly comforting to my daughter tonight. I highly recommend Ebert Family Clinic. read more

This office really does treat you like family! I can't tell you how many times I have either had to make a last minute appointment or call at inconvenient times, and they never seemed agitated. Kind, caring, and attentive service. Our family is so very grateful to have Dr. Chris and her staff as our children's pedatric care provider. You couldn't get better treatment! read more

I really like Dr. Chris. She's awesome for my children! I went there yesterday for adult care for myself, though and I left feeling more sad than when I came. (My appointment was 6/21/18.) The NP who saw me yesterday was insensitive and the worst thing to do is make an anxious patient leave feeling just as anxious if not more than when they walked in. It's really hard to reach out for help in tough times, so when a patient does and then a medical staff member makes them feel worse, this prevents mental health patients from trying again...I was trying to explain my situation and why I was so anxious and sad, but this woman interrupted me. It's crucial to listen to a patient, especially when they're trying to tell you what's pushing them over the edge. I tried to explain what has been wrong with my kidney for the past year and how I was nervous about CPS being called on me again because it was assumed that the pain medication prescribed to me caused me to be neglectful....The NP interrupted me again and said, "But we can obtain those medical records and find out." I felt like she thought I was lying and truly believed I would do such a thing. I had to explain that I let social services see my records for proof that I wasn't consistently prescribed pain medications. Maybe if she had listened to me try to explain my situation and why I was there, she wouldn't have had to make a remark like that. She said this in front of a medical student as well, which made me feel more humiliated. Having anxiety is humiliating because sometimes we exhaust people with our constant worrying, and then end up feeling bad about ourselves for having annoyed others, people whom we need in our lives. I can only hope that she reads this and understands that this was not an effective session for a patient with generalized anxiety. To add insult to injury, she told the med student that I had a "flat affect". Yes, of course, I do. I'm distraught with the stress in my life. Again, had she listened to me more, she would know that comment hurt because that's one of the reasons the father of my children doesn't want to be with me. I cried in my car on the way home. This is unfortunate because I love coming to the clinic for my children. I will continue to come because it's what's best for my children and again, Dr. Chris is awesome. As for me, I think that maybe I will have to search out other primary care. read more
