I sent an 8mm film with sound that was shot in the 1950's and 1960's to CinePost. They digitized…read moreit, improved the quality of the colors, lighting, etc., and recovered the sound perfectly. This is after 4 or 5 shops told me it couldn't be done, or else said they would try it but would likely destroy the film in the process, with no guarantee of the outcome. CinePost gave me great advice and returned a digitized version to me in a couple of weeks which was better than the original. My family members are surprised that it turned out as well as it did, and are very grateful that we're able to preserve these priceless family memories. Given that the video is of an area that's now a national park, we've been asked by the community to donate a copy to the local museum. Can't thank Myron and the folks at CinePost enough. I'll be sending some other films to him shortly.

The Cinepost scan was much higher quality than Costco. The colors were correct and sharp, the resolution looked good. The only thing I wish they would have done was to lighten the exposure in one part of the film that was dark due to the filming. It cost about double or so the Costco price but if you want a movie that you will actually enjoy watching it is worth it. I was worried the original film would degrade to the point where it was worthless so I wanted to get the content scanned. Cinepost also does not copy protect your scanned film - you can send it to anyone and everyone for free. I used "wetransfer.com" to send to all my family members and friends. Yesvideo makes you pay for CDs with your film on it which can get expensive if you want a lot of copies. Cinepost also contacted me to see if I was satisfied with the results; you won't get this from yesvideo.

This has been on the to do list for so long, but we finally dropped off our 1st box of video tapes…read moreto be converted. It took about 2 weeks to convert 10 8mm tapes. We had no clue what was on them as I never marked them after I had made the recordings. They did a good job, I spent the next day watching them and making note of what was on them, I was satisfied that I could trust them with my memories, I have given them another 10 videos to convert. The place was a bit busy with only one person manning the desk and answering the phone, there were three others waiting to drop off /pick up their tapes, but it went fast. The place is a bit hard to find with all the road construction in the area, but their front door has a direct view of the new Artur M Blank children's hospital.

I actually did a bit of research before I chose who I should send my audio and video recordings to…read more Based on their website and their reviews, I chose Nostalgic Media. I have 4 records (78's circa 1961) and 5 VHS tapes (circa '95). They are recordings of my mom who was a mildly successful jazz singer. I thought these items were lost as they were in a storage unit in New Orleans, where we're from, when Katrina hit. In a strange and lovely chain of events, I got them back recently. They are, of course, not in the best of shape but, do have salvageable data. I spoke with Steve on the phone even and conveyed that they were old and damaged. He assured me they would do as good a job as possible. I got everything back yesterday and I am shocked. They didn't even bother cleaning the records before transfer. Nor did they bother to separate the cuts. Each album side was a recording. Obviously, the sound quality was tended to and every scratch and hiss to be found was found on my recordings. The VHS tapes were no better. The sound was stretched in spots. Not a surprise but, they did nothing to try and improve it. And, all of the DVDs were returned with recordings of the entire VHS, in other words, all the blank tape at beginning and end. The work was sloppy and lazy and the results worthless. It was not cheap either. I emailed Steve my disappointment and have gotten NO response. Obviously I also got not offer at a refund; partial or full, which is what I'm due. Being a small business owner, I write reviews regularly because I know how much they can help your business grow. In all my years this is only the second bad review I've ever given. I hope it helps you choose. If you have a very simple job, I'm sure they can handle it. But as they do not actually attempt to restore old recordings I find Nostalgic Media to be a very misleading name.

At first I was hesitant since had a very unique project that not every video company would have been able or willing to accommodate, but Crisp took on the project and delivered the on-point results that we were looking for! From start to finish, they walked me through the production process and asked specific questions to make sure that they clearly understood our business and that we were targeting the right audience. I can say without a doubt that they are the absolute best corporate and small business video production company in the Southeast! I would recommend Crisp without hesitation to anyone looking to give their business a competitive marketing advantage through video! We'll be working on producing many more videos for our website with Crisp for years to come!

We added the live instruments (drums, sax, and bass), and it was one of the best decisions we made -- the energy was incredible! The dance floor was packed all night, and so many of our guests told us it was the most fun they've had at a wedding. Tim and the musicians knew exactly how to keep the party going. If you're looking for a DJ who brings both talent and personality, Hip and Hitched is it!

We added the uplighting services and opt'ed out for additional musicians (more on that below). 2. TD is incredibly professional and experienced. We're picky music producers and needed someone who the same level of touch and technicality. With TD, you don't have to worry! He has the years, experience, and groove for it all! 3. Reliable, communicative, and supportive. He can easily mesh well with your videographers, coordinators, and team to make sure your entire event goes well. We're very satisfied with the outcomes. He even took awesome photos of us and created a highlight on IG for us to watch after our wedding. We loved seeing our special day from a different perspective. CON: 1. We didn't get the additional musicians TD recommended and regret it. I think others should consider it! Having more than 1 entertainer on the dance floor really heightens the energy. Whether it's an Emcee, Drummer, Saxophonist, etc... you need that extra person as a hype man to keep the night going! +1 if they can dance and help others follow along #flashmob #tiktokdance. 2. Have a back-up plan for emergencies. If someone falls and hurts their heads in the middle of an energetic time, you'd want to know what to do to be respectful of that person while ensuring the rest of the party is still going. I recommend you to talk to your DJ, emcee, coordinators, and event team to align on an emergency plan in case it happens! One of our elders fell and had a bloody experience. Recovering from that was quite an experience, but TD and our emcee friend made it happen!
