Dinner at Echo & Rig on a Saturday evening around 7:30 PM was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Our servers, Adam and David (brothers), were exceptional--knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely helpful with recommendations that shaped the entire meal. Their service alone made a huge difference in the experience. We started with steak tartare and deep-fried olives with garlic aioli, along with surprise treats from the kitchen: a deep-fried kale salad and grilled bacon. The kale salad was especially memorable--crunchy, zesty, slightly sweet, and unlike anything we've had before. The olives were a standout as well, and the bacon was perfectly smoky and rich. For the main course, we ordered a Wagyu tomahawk (~54 oz) and a porterhouse (~42 oz) for our group of six. Both were cooked medium rare, leaning slightly rare, but the quality of the beef made it excellent either way. They were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. A variety of sauces on the side elevated the steaks even more. We also had Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes, and throughout the night the staff continued to bring out additional items, which made the experience feel generous and elevated. We skipped dessert, but left fully impressed. Overall: 5/5 Echo & Rig delivered incredible food and even better service. Adam and David truly made the night unforgettable. We recently had brunch at Echo & Rig, and overall it was okay. The atmosphere was really nice and had a clean, peaceful vibe. The drinks were definitely one of the highlights of the meal. They were well made and probably my favorite part. The service was good, although it was a little on the slow side. Our server was friendly. Unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to my expectations. It wasn't bad by any means, but it fell a little short, especially considering the reputation and price point. First and foremost, my 3-stars has everything to do with ambiance (or lack thereof), and awful acoustics. Their decor choice is greatly lacking and a poor utilization of space. It has nothing to do with their menu, quality of food, or service. I frequent the bar because that's where my friends like to hang out the dining room is not appealing, and just a bunch of random tables on the floor. The acoustics are slightly better in the bar, and when you're deaf in 1 ear...it matters. A lot! I always order the same thing: medium filet w/garlic mash, mac & cheese, and the watermelon salad when available. I never finish my meal and bring home tons of food. Granted I'm small and eat like a bird, but it's enough for next days lunch & a snack. HA! Always good - consistency matters and I love knowing I am getting something amazing. Warning: if you've only experienced the Summerlin location, The District location is very different, from taste, to service, to decor...everything. Why? Not sure. It's just different. It's amazing in its own right so have reasonable expectations. If you're pleasantly surprised and I'm wrong...so be it. Pricing is reasonable imo compared to other similar establishments. It was Restaurant Week and a great time to try new places. We did a double date during lunch and each ordered from the pre fix menu. Each couple ended up getting one of each offering and that allowed is to share and taste a few items. It was a four course meal that started with gazpacho, choice of salad, choice of sandwich and choice of dessert. We did make reservations and the dining room is very spacious and you can see the kitchen which I thought was cool. There seemed to be a limited bar menu so we didn't order anything special. Went for dinner, service was outstanding, suggestions for appetizers were amazing! The pork belly burnt ends had so much flavor! The sweet and fire cauliflower are a must! Cooked to perfection with a little kick! Get the tomato, cucumber, watermelon with red onion salad, trust me it will help with the kick from the cauliflower! The ribeye cap was amazing, had incredible flavor! I ordered the 8oz filet, Pittsburgh medium rare (I love me some char) the chef nailed it! The chimichurri sauce was delicious and a must! We stopped by Echo & Rig for lunch and overall had a really solid experience. The space is clean, modern, and has that upscale-but-still-comfortable vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your meal without feeling overly formal. Service was friendly and attentive, which I always appreciate. I will say, I was a little disappointed with the lunch menu. I had my heart set on the rib cap, but found out it's not offered during lunch, and unfortunately they were also out of the skirt steak, which is what I was really looking forward to. That part was a bit of a letdown. That said, we still had a good meal. My husband went with the signature burger and fries, which were cooked perfectly and super satisfying. I ordered the Wagyu filet tenderloin, and it was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right, definitely a great choice. Even with a couple menu hiccups, the quality of the food and overall experience made it worth the visit. I'd absolutely come back, next time for dinner so I can finally try that rib cap. read more

Okay, if you've been a reader of my Yelp reviews for any period of time, you know that I don't wax poetic about too many places. I appreciate a fine dining experience, and I also appreciate a good bargain. Echo and Rig has to be in my top five meals of all time. For starters, the place is a little deceiving. When you walk in, you can feel your wallet cinch up like it's about to be assaulted. The wait staff was dressed very upscale, the place was neat as a pin, and the interior looked like one of those very expensive steakhouses. We got taken to our booth, and we're immediately brought some water. Awesome and attentive wait staff. Not hovering, or overbearing, but they were absolutely perfect. Our waiter Alex was top notch. First thing he did was take our drink orders, and then scurried back to the kitchen. A few moments later he brought out an order of fried olives and their fried spinach salad on the house. Let me tell you something as someone who kind of stopped liking olives, since I had worked out at all lip processing plant, I reluctantly tried one. Wow, was not expecting that. That. It was wonderful and I would absolutely order those again! The fried spinach salad was amazing and that vinegarette that they put on it just took it to a whole nother level. It was one of the best salads I've ever had. I ordered the ribeye steak, and my girl friend had the wagyu filet. I normally have my steaks done medium rare but Alex's suggestion of going rare was spot on. Seriously! This was one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life! I chose the mushroom sauce to go with it and that was a perfect choice.. I tried a bite of my girlfriend's wagu filet, and that thing literally melted in my mouth. I don't even think you'd have to use a knife to cut it. Both dishes came with a panko stuffed mushroom, which was amazing. We also ordered a couple sides. The broccolini, and the garlic mash potatoes. Absolutely wonderful! Like no kidding, every bite was fantastic. It's very rare that I've had an experience at a restaurant that hit on all cylinders, food quality service atmosphere, and price. Echo and Rig nailed it on all accounts. So let's talk about price for a second. I was blown away at the price of the steaks. Like no kidding, I would have expected (and would have paid) 120 bucks for the steak I got. It was that good! But the price was only $48 for that steak, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted like a million bucks! But the hits aren't done yet! Since it was my girlfriend's birthday they brought out a turtle crunch Sunday. OMG! What an amazing capper to an already amazing deal. I could have eaten three bowls of that stuff. Thank goodness, I have some semblance of self-control. Bottom line? I would have given this place 10 Stars if Yellp would have let me. But since I can only give five, I will tell you that it was definitely worth 10 Stars in my book! Brought a special friend to celebrate a special milestone. We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation because I never know what traffic will throw my way! The moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease. We requested to spend some time at the bar while waiting for our reserved table to become available... What a GREAT decision that was!! We were very comfortable there and we both had AMAZING cocktails. The extra 30 minutes just slipped away with no boredom or disappointment. However, I was there to celebrate a very important milestone anniversary, so my time at the bar was brief... 2 rounds of drinks and we moved on to the dining room. BTW, we walked in at 6:25pm for a 7pm reservation - we had 2 drinks each, cashed out with the bartender and we were seated for our reservation before 7:05pm!! The place was HOPPING and we were served without delay, I'm super impressed by that! On to dinner we went... Our server was Laura and she had a wonderful man (Michael or Miguel? sorry, I suck at names) who was assisting her by filling water glasses and delivering plates. I've had many variations of tartare all over the country and beyond. This one was exceptional!! The texture was on point and the flavor was over the top. I love the rarer side of medium rare, she loves well done but still juicy. Amazingly, both steaks came out at the same time and both were perfectly cooked! The accompanying sauces were the best I've ever had. I can't even imagine the magic used to create the bleu cheese sauce I ordered?! Rebecca got the brandied mushroom sauce and the charred onion sauce and OMG! The charred onion sauce was like they cooked the richest most perfect French onion soup and then reduced it for hours and hours until it became the consistency of gravy. I don't want to forget to shout out the roasted garlic mashed potatoes or the pistachio Brussels sprouts - both were delicious with excellent texture! I really want to try EVERYTHING on the menu but instead I will return time after time for the perfectly cooked steaks and I will pair them with each and every sauce until I'm tired of high quality beef grilled to perfection. (is that even possible?! IDK but I will find out) The seafood part of the menu looks great, might take me awhile to try it but HOT DAMN I'm looking forward to ALL of it! Lobster Cigars excellent, little greasy, but 4/5. I dabbed it w/ paper napkins. The Butchery on the right is no longer there but you can order meats still. The wines by the glass were limited. My server Jaquoia never brought utensils or a napkin for the food. That is the first thing to set up I'd say. After that I overheard the couple next to me say the food they ordered was ok, not worth it. Everyone's preference is different, but no ambience & super slow service. The restaurant had less than 10 people so utensils should've been more attentive as a bartender. I almost walked out because it took so long to get a menu. If you're with someone that isn't eating their crispy onions that come with their steak put that in the ribeye steak sandwich... amazing. One quick note... The staff and service were pretty great. They were friendly and kept checking in with us. We never once had to ask for more water or drinks or anything. Unfortunately, the food wasn't up to par. I was quite excited to try this place after hearing great reviews. The food just had zero taste. You can tell they missed the mark on seasoning. Everything just tasted bland. Nothing blew me away. However, the texture of the steak was perfect and cooked so well but there was zero taste. The only thing we had that was really good was the side of thick cut bacon. So many odd things at Henderson Echo/Rig. Bummer city. No wine list. No beverage menu. My baby asked what whiskies were available. Waiter said we have tons! My baby asked for Basil Haden. Waiter said we don't have that. We were rushed to order, but then the food took forever to come. After appetizers I asked for a new fork and got told to keep my dirty one. (Hero boyfriend stopped the action and got us both fresh flatware.) The weird horseshoe table made serving the food weird too, like the plates were being passed at a family dinner. I had the lambchops. The meat was nice, but overseasoned with a yucky sauce. Steaks come with a huge plume of fried onions for no reason. I'd been to E&R in Summerlin before and while it was a long time ago, it was good. They had a cart like Morton's where they showed you the steaks. Salt scrub in the bathroom. What happened?! Total garbage experience now. Messy bathroom. Hot in the body of the room from the open fire in the open kitchen. Strange decor and lighting with the bar shoved in a corner. Waitstaff ki-ki ing around IG memes in groups instead of checking tables. We were guests of out-of-towers and felt embarrassed that this was they're LV steakhouse experience. No wine list? Service was impeccable our server Alex was amazing and Austin the manager was thoughtful enough to come around and congratulate us on the anniversary. Ambiance was vibrant and very elegant. Lovely birthday celebration lunch, with my partner, daughter and a couple of her pals. We were spoiled by Jennifer, our server, as well as the manager and another young man who brought most of the food. The small plates were amazing and everyone loved it all! I've always loved the original Echo & Rig so I had high hopes for this location. The space is relaxed and our server was wonderful, but everything else fell flat. We walked in around 1pm on Thursday afternoon to a nearly empty dining room (2 other tables seated). We started by ordering 2 glasses of wine from the cocktail menu (Pinot Grigio and Moscato D'Asti) which were both unavailable. Our Lunch order: 1. Shrimp Cocktail: (only three shrimp, which felt underwhelming even at the lower price point of $15.). 2. Caesar Salad- She enjoyed the salad. 3.We both ordered the Cape Grim Filet -medium rare. When our steaks arrived, mine was significantly overcooked. I showed our server, who immediately apologized and brought over the manager. His solution was to comp my glass of wine, which struck me as dismissive. I declined and asked for the steak to be cooked as ordered. Unfortunately, when my replacement steak finally arrived (cooked correctly), my friend had already finished her meal. ** The manager never returned to check on us, which sealed the experience for me. He reminded me of a Latino version of an English Butler. The best way I can describe coming here is like getting a bit of the fine dining experience without the fine dining price tag. Don't get me wrong this is not a Texas Roadhouse bill. You will be paying a bit more. Apps and sides are around $15 each. All shareable sizes between 2 people. Steaks depending on the cut seems to be between the $40-$60 price range. Which is amazingly priced!!! Dessert is inexpensive as well but I would not call it shareable. So for two people we ordered 1 apple, 2 steaks, 2 sides, 1 dessert, 2 iced teas and 1 latte $160. We split the check including tip I paid $90. I would recommend the mushroom fries. The aioli sauce that comes with it makes this lightly battered meaty Mushroom fries the best thing ever! Sides wise get the cauliflower and skip the carrots. When you order your steak listen to your server! I normally get medium but I was advised their medium is more like medium rare. So this time I got medium well which was still juicy. Steak comes with choice of one sauce. I suggest the onion sauce! The carrots came out a bit too charred for my taste. The latte was strong and delicious! The apple puffed pastry I would skip. The description was so good but the execution leaves you disappointed. I am really eager to try the berry shortcake next time. It was a windy night but our table on the patio was perfect. We are regulars at the Tivoli village location but decided to check the Henderson location to watch the Green Valley Ranch fireworks from their patio. We had the best time watching 4th of July fireworks, this is the best location for it. Food is amazing, pretty similar to the Tivoli location but there they have lobster cigars instead of lamb cigars. Highly recommend if you love lobster! Service is very good! I went to visit this location for the first time with reservations. We were seated within a couple of minutes. Our server Laura was amazing. She made great recommendations and was pleasant. We were staying on the strip eating our way around Vegas and on the search for a decent grocery store eventually finding Whole Foods. After getting our shopping done, we were looking for somewhere to sit and unwind and get a bite to eat and a drink. I found Echo & Rig on Yelp! and as it turned out, we had pulled into a parking space to research places right about 150 feet from the door. We were greeted warmly by the bartender and sat at a high top. None of the beer taps were working and their liquor selections were very limited, but we found selections we enjoyed. We ordered the happy hour tacos, burnt ends, bone marrow, and cuban grilled cheese. This was mom's favorite stop so far, as she is passionate about bone marrow and burnt ends. Though bone marrow is not my cup of tea, this was probably the best presentation that I've seen of it and we've travelled distances for it exclusively. The tacos were good. The burnt ends were mostly good, but there was at least 1 that was a bit tough. The cuban sandwich was tasty and good, my suggestion on that one would be to shred the pork and keep the juices and keep it moist as the slab of pork was tough to eat in a sandwich and a little dry. It did shred easily with just a fork, I think it would just make the sandwich easier to eat and you probably wouldn't need as much which would save some food cost at the same time. Overall, we had a very comfortable and delightful mid-afternoon with the bartender, I wish I could recall her name.... Julia? maybe? She was wonderful. Oh!!! And that house made ranch! I know I wrote a review for this spot not too long ago, but this is for the brunch, which I've never ever been to! I know Echo & Rig's brunch in Summerlin was definitely a huge deal back in the day, but dont sleep on the one in Henderson! We decided to sit in the bar area and enjoy it. We thought they had bottomless mimosas, but it's actually just by the bottle. Which my sister in law and I shared two bottles so it ended up being pretty affordable, almost the same as bottomless in my opinion. The bartender in the bar area did a great job at taking care of us and he was rather friendly and chatted it up a lot with my husband and my sister in laws fiance. He made the experience even more enjoyable. To eat, I ordered the traditional eggs benedict, since that really is one of my favorite brunch meals. It was delicious! Didn't come with a side, but honestly I wasn't super hungry so it really was enough food for me. My sister in law got the farmers market dish, and I had a few bites of hers, too. It was sooo good and fresh! I love that they offer that. I definitely would come back here again for brunch and highly recommend! read more

Went last night for an important birthday party of 6. Very weak beer selection and they were out of the one our son selected. I tried to order a couple different cocktails (cocktail selection is also very low) and the attendant indicated they did not make those without even offering to ask the bartenders. Didn't seem very helpful. We ordered then the attendant came back about 10 minutes later indicating one of the appetizers was not available. About 5 minutes later she returned to indicate the steak my son ordered was not available. Given the situation we decided to cancel and go elsewhere. It's important to note though that the restaurant management could not have been more apologeticnand genuinely felt bad. We have been there twice before hand has a much better experience. read more

I had initially booked dinner at the LV location, but we ended up changing it to a late lunch at the Henderson location since we visited the Hoover Dam during the morning and it's on our way back to the Strip. We took advantage of the free corkage service by bringing one of our own reds from home, and we ordered a variety of items to share with the whole table. The food was great, but it took awhile to come since we ordered the tomahawk steak. They offered a couple of small appetizers on the house while we waited, which was a nice gesture. However, when the check came, they charged us for them and I had to ask them to waive the charges. Our server was super friendly, but I felt bad that she was the only one taking care of all the tables that afternoon. This likely was the reason why she was a bit aloof with things such as forgetting steak knives and charging us incorrectly. We generally try to find places off-strip for dining since the food tends to be cheaper for what you get overall. Heads up that if you make a reservation, they will definitely not see you until the very minute of the reservation you made. Even though your entire party is there and the table is ready and there are no other customers that they need to seat. Absolutely ridiculous policy that I hope they will reconsider because I would not make group reservations there if that's how they treat people. Thankfully, both servers that were at our table were absolutely amazing. It was a great idea for her to suggest that each person at the table order one side item off the menu for the table to share, and she even went to the extra effort of picking some as starters and some as sides when our main entrées came. My Aji tuna on rice was very good. And everyone else seemed to enjoy their steaks and swordfish and salads. The ambience is a little strange, everyone was kind of weirded out by the lack of decor in the restaurant and the plainness of the tables for such a high-end restaurant. They do have an extensive dessert menu as well, but we did not try and as we were very full from dinner. Must try starters, though would be the squash, the burnt ends, the fried olives, the Portobello fries. HOT GARBAGE Guys look at my reviews. Mostly 4s and 5s. I'm not a hater. This place SUCKS. Interior is underwhelming for a steak house. Service is very slow. But even if those were 5 star, the food makes it a 1. Don't get me wrong it wasn't disgusting. It wasn't spoiled or toxic. Just incredibly disappointing for what seems itself as a highend steakhouse. The 1/4" Thick Bacon was barely thicker than what you get at the store. Maybe 1/16" or 1/8th max. And it was burned beyond the point of being edible. The potato latkes had no flavor and were under cooked. My short rib hash - the beef was severely over cooked and dry. I think my 1st bite rooks serve rap minutes to chew and swallow. My wife's crab cake Benedict. The crab cakes were tiny, maybe 2 ounces each. And that was a positive. Tastes like canned tuna. Daughter had French toast. That's tough to mess up. Came to this place to celebrate a birthday and had such a greag experience (food+ambiance+service) we plan on stopping by every time we are in Vegas. Everything is ordered a la carte but the sides are more than enough to share which is great. Cannot explain how good everything tasted, the waiter and staff were attentive and kind. The space is modern, sleek, and feels like the kind of place you take someone when you're trying to impress but still have fun. The service was dialed in. Multiple servers, all polished, all professional, and somehow never hovering. You feel taken care of without feeling rushed -- that's rare. Let's talk food. The bread was good, but it came out a little cold for my taste, and the butter was just... fine. Not bad, not memorable -- just a warm-up for what's coming. I'm not a wine guy at all, but the Carmel Road was dangerously good. Smooth, easy, and way too drinkable. Now the desserts... unreal. The apple pither (whatever wizardry that is) might honestly be the best dessert I've ever eaten. Hot, soft apple on the inside, flaky light pastry on the outside, and that perfect balance of sweet and crunch -- I was fighting for my life over this thing. The lemon sorbet was bright, refreshing, and super clean -- exactly what you want after a rich steak. And the coffee cake was solid too; if you love coffee flavors, it's a must-order. Now the main event. The zabuton steak was perfectly cooked -- tender, juicy, and ridiculously flavorful. I tried it with the blue cheese sauce, which was elite, but honestly this steak would've worked with anything. Easily a top-five steak of my life. Our recent Friday evening visit was an experience that exceeded all expectations, marked by impeccable service, expertly crafted drinks, and a culinary journey that left a lasting impression. We began our meal with an outstanding selection of starters. The Caesar salads were a masterclass in freshness - crisp, perfectly dressed, and adorned with just the right amount of savory croutons. Complementing this, the French Onion soup was a rich, deeply flavored indulgence, crowned with a generous, perfectly melted layer of cheese that offered comforting warmth. The main entrees were, without exception, a testament to culinary excellence. The Rib Eye was cooked to absolute perfection, incredibly tender and bursting with savory juices. The Salmon was beautifully flaky and delicately seasoned, while the Swordfish was grilled with precision, offering a robust and succulent texture. Accompanying these superb mains were generous portions of our chosen sides - a decadent macaroni and cheese and unbelievably creamy mashed potatoes. First time to this restaurant. Made reservations way in advanced since it was valentines. Place clean. Vibe was good. Server excellent and very attentive. Daughter and I ordered the ribeye caps, which we love when a steakhouse can offer it. Wife ordered goat cheese sandwich. Highly recommend this location. Across the street from Green Valley Casino, which was nice to walk to after dinner. read more
