This is the second time I've used this company to remove stuff and the experience was again great. The team got there on time. They were able to get a couch out of a small room which was a feat in itself. They removed the door to get it out and then put the door back. They carefully brought the couch and other items to be disposed of down the elevator and through the twisty passage way to get them out to the truck. Great attitude - nothing was a problem. They charged me honestly and were able to donate most of the stuff. Will absolutely use them again. read more

I am a disabled veteran living with PTSD and memory-related cognitive issues. No explanation was provided after the first missed appointment. Prior to the second attempt, however, my partner emailed Jeff with the following message: "Just a heads up: he's a veteran and can get stressed more easily, so calm communication and check-ins really help." Despite this advance notice, due to my condition, I was again unable to successfully enter the property. I apologized sincerely and hoped for understanding. Jeff responded by saying that "we can't keep doing this," and the tone sounded annoyed. While no additional comments were made, the lack of acknowledgment of what had been shared beforehand and the tone of the response made the interaction feel dismissive and embarrassing. I made a genuine effort to communicate respectfully and reschedule. I was disappointed by the absence of patience and calm communication toward an elderly disabled veteran, and I believe customers with disabilities deserve respectful treatment, even when logistical limits are being discussed. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit intended and helps improve how similar situations are handled in the future. read more

I used Eco City to clear out a small storage space at my condo, They arrived when they said they would and unfortunately had to deal with a lot of ice in my alley. They worked efficiently to clear out the unit and also take an old dining room table. I also chose them because of positive reviews but also because they recycle what they can. Sometimes you just have to move quickly but don't want to just trash stuff that someone else might want and you don't have time to give away. They loaded their truck, we added some more junk, they moved some furniture for us and, get this, the final pricing was less than Jeff's quote because the truck wasn't completely filled. My stairs were a huge problem because of the twists and turns, 3 flights, so we decided not to move forward for fear of damage to the wood floors. Despite the time spent, they refused to charge me for their time and effort, although I was happy to pay. I understood the difficulty. I saw a truck from this company at a gas station in my neighborhood and decided to look them up on yelp. They definitely deserve the 5 star rating. The owner responded quickly to my messages and they were able to schedule me within a few days. I was really surprised it only took two guys (Chris & Vinny) a little over an hour to clear out junk from 3 levels. Their truck was able to fit a lot. I cleaned out a sectional, 2 bed frames, a mattress, two tvs, a dresser, living chair and a whole lot more. I didn't think it would all fit but I was pleasantly surprised. The team was careful, efficient and most importantly respectful. I would definitely recommend this company. I'm just sorry I forgot to stop at the bank to give them a tip. Editing to add: I completely forgot they found 25 dollars in my laundry room and gave it to me. I had no idea it was even in there. Great integrity. I stuck it in my pocket and forgot about it.
