After lots of searching I finally decided to give Eco Nail Bar a try for a pedicure! Upon entering they were really welcoming and prompt to my appointment time, there was no extra waiting. The nail salon is very clean and lively with customers. Time after time a lot of regulars would walk and be welcomed by name it was really sweet to see. They offer a variety of complementary drinks and the signature massage chair as well to continue your relaxing! There are a couple TVs on the walls but no shows playing just picturesque backgrounds. Heather was efficient and effortlessly a perfectionist. She has been one of my favorite pedicurista so far, although my nails weren't as opaque on the entire nail as I was hoping they would be, the massage and attentiveness to detail on my nail care made up for it. I had chosen a milky off white for my toes and a couple areas had more polish than others, although hard to tell from far away. I recently started going to this place. First time I went and tried hard gel; the technician did a decent job. I went for a second time for a fill; Ben did an amazing job. Ben's work 5/5, definitely going back and requesting him. However, my last visit I got a pedicure. It was the worse pedicure ever, she rounded my nails. Like what!? Everyone knows that rounding toenails is a big no no, a certified nail technician should definitely know this, I don't remember seeing her DCA permit displayed like mandated by California. Ugliest pedicure ever, she didn't even check in with be and then just left, told me I could leave in five minutes. If given the change to fix them, I don't think she could've. She left my toe nails so short. So disappointed with the entire experience, I thought I had found my place. read more

This place is wonderful! I called to confirm availability and within 15 mins on a Friday afternoon I was happily accommodated. I also brought my daughter with me for her first ever kid mani/pedi and she loved it. Service was great - they offered her apple juice and a snack to enjoy while she waited for my mani/pedi to be completed. Then, upon learning it was almost by daughter's birthday, they presented her with a surprise birthday balloon The nail polish color selection here was mesmerizing. I love the way they display their color options. I chose a champagne bronze gel cateye. I have been to salons in the past where my fingers burned while the gel cured under the light. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how meticulous my nail tech was in not letting any gel touch my cuticles. They also painted one nail and asked me to confirm whether I liked it before proceeding. I actually changed my mind on my toes and they accommodated my request to use a darker shade. We were looking for a mani/pedi place that was open for on the way home from Anaheim. We found this one that was still open on a Sunday Evening. We called to confirm and they were very helpful and confirmed that they took walk ins. We arrived with 45 min left before closing time. We were just going for pedicures but we ended adding the manicure because they said they didn't mind. It did take a while to get serviced but they kept coming around to acknowledge us and let us know that as soon as their team member became free they will help us. It was VERY BUSY! No one in their team was just standing around. Everyone was doing something. We finally were attended and all of the team ladies were great! Funny and attentive. They kept apologizing for the wait time but both my husband and I understood that 1) we came last minute and 2) we were conscious of their customer service. The place is clean. Smells good. The sounds is very relaxing. Massage chair were amazing for the time that we waited. The nail work on both mani and pedi were great! They gave us a complimentary drink while we waited. They have one of those robots servers that bring it to you. All in all we are definitely coming back! read more

I'm not one to usually write reviews, but this one had to be done. This is by far one of the best nail experiences I've had in over a decade of living here in Southern California. Nia was fantastic. She took so much care and effort in her attention to detail was incredible. It was very easy to make an appointment online through their website where you could see which nail tech are available being that this was my first time here I just picked any and ended up getting Nia. The salon itself was very peaceful with very calming music with the front desk worker offering everyone something to drink. The color selection was very good and a lot better than most salons in the area which tend to have the same colors. These were different from anything I've ever seen. I asked Nia for a short almond shape and just a regular color and it looks like exactly what I wanted without even specifying. I told her I have to type at work and without hesitation or pressure to get them a little longer she did exactly what I wanted. She took time with my cuticles and gave me lotion at the end and to top it off. I got a free cuticle oil from the front desk person. I will be coming back and booking with Nia. Specifically everyone in there looks like they do a fantastic job. You can't go wrong with anyone 10 out of 10 would recommend. Okay, hear me out.. I like this place. The vibes and people are so so sweet at the nail salon. This was the first place I've seen give out complimentary drinks while you get your nails done. I think everyone is hospitable and very attentive to their customers. However, at about the 1 week mark I started having my gel-x nails popping off. I came in once to get my left middle finger fixed (for free) but then 2-3 days after, my right hand started losing nails. I think part of the problem is that the gel x tips were too curved for my nails so it actually kind of hurt when it was placed. I didn't know there were differences in the curvatures until after I did some research. Anywho, I got them done two weeks ago on 11/14 and I am now missing three nails. I'm frustrated because I had hoped it would last til at least 3 weeks since all the ladies said "I'll see you in three weeks for a fill!" I think the nails are done beautifully. I am just sad that I can't enjoy them as long as I'd hope. read more

My regular nail tech recently retired, so I was looking for a new spot. The ambiance at Eco is lovely and the ladies at the front desk are very sweet. Beyond that, it was so bad I thought I was on candid camera as part of a prank show. My tech began by removing my Gel X nails with an e-file and kept slipping and knicking my skin. (I had raw spots the next day.) Kind of a red flag. I asked for "medium almond" but she brought out the kit for longer stiletto extensions and said she would file them. I thought this was odd but said okay. She kept removing the extensions and re-doing the glue, leaving me with dried glue all over my hands. I let her know my natural nails were poking out at the sides and asked her to fix them. She then told me I made her nervous and her hands were shaking. REALLY awkward, but I felt so bad that I just let her finish because I wanted it to be over with so I could go home and fix them. There was excess glue caked beneath and around my nails, and later that day I noticed one nail was crooked and had a gap between the Gel X and my natural nail. I stopped in the next day and asked the front desk if I could have just that nail replaced by a different tech. The tech was annoyed at the outset and said the gap was fine and that the nail wasn't crooked. She called two other techs over to agree with her but I said I wanted it replaced. She literally sighed and rolled her eyes, then would dramatically drum her fingers on the table while the gel was curing to convey how inconvenient this 10 minute process was for her. I couldn't even feel mad because it was borderline funny how bad the experience was. I guess I learned not to be swayed by decor and complimentary drinks. read more

This is the first nail salon I've returned to so far since they always get my nails done right! The employees are so sweet, and Rose did my Gel X for me this time. Another lady also recognized me from last time. I was so happy to be welcomed back, and hope that these nails will also last 5-6 weeks again. Last time, I thought the beverages were not included, but it comes with the service. I tried the hot green tea, and it was soothing and made the whole experience even more relaxing. She really took the time to make sure the shape, color, and style was exactly what I wanted. I opted for pink chrome, and it's so pretty. She showed me about 3-4 different powders on her own nails so I could see how each one would look like. The design I showed the nail tech wasn't what I wanted, and although she tried to fix it, since she had another client waiting she just left it as is. Her excuse was that my nails are crooked so that's why the line she drew cannot be straight. What the hell? I paid $172 for a gel manicure and pedicure and feel like my was wasted. It is so bad that I wish I didn't leave the 20% tip. I will not come back here and don't recommend this place. It's not worth the money. I tried contacting them and no response. I ordered the Coco coffee package for a pedicure, shoulder massage, and a simple manicure with clear polish. Min was AMAZING for the pedi and massage! The other gal, not so much. Rachel at the front desk came over and asked how everything was and I was honest. I only got like 2 minutes of hand massage and my nails looked super dry at the cuticles. She immediately ran and got cuticle oil, put it on, and gave me the bottle! Also she massaged my hands and arms expertly. I AM VERY HAPPY. Moral of the story: let Min take you to Paradise. I've been here twice because even if I'm not satisfied the first time, I like to give a place the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were having an off day. So my first time here, I asked for a simple pink to white ombré. The lady doing my pedicure clearly didn't know what she was doing because my gel x gel polish manicure set took less time than my pedicure which is like unheard of AND the manager had to step in to take over doing my pedicure because my nail tech struggled so badly. Another issue, is this place is kind of pricey honestly for the work they do. They don't do a terrible job but honestly for a simple gel x gel polish manicure, I don't think it should cost as much as it does, especially when I had two nails break within the first week. Maybe they should spend less money on there dumb robots so they don't have to over charge? The only reason why I'm not giving this place 1 star is because their customer service is REALLY GOOD.
