I am writing to formally express my concern regarding several issues I have experienced with my…read moreappointments, cancellation policy, and billing. I previously spoke directly with the owner and explained that I have FMLA-related medical circumstances and unpredictable migraines that can occur without warning. During that conversation, I specifically explained that there may be times when I need to cancel an appointment unexpectedly because of a severe migraine. I was told that a note would be placed in the system regarding my situation so that I would not be charged a cancellation fee if I needed to cancel for this reason. Today, I had to call to cancel an appointment because I was experiencing a terrible migraine. Despite our previous conversation and the understanding that a note would be placed in my account, I was advised that I would still have to pay a cancellation fee. This is very disappointing because I had already discussed this exact situation with the owner beforehand and relied on the understanding that my circumstances had been documented. There are also ongoing concerns regarding charges on my account that I would like reviewed: I purchased a package of 5 massages, but during my last visit I was still charged $132 for a massage on August 22. I explained at the time that I had already purchased the package of five massages, yet the $132 charge continues to appear. I was also charged for another visit/day that I had already paid for, including the herbs. The amount I paid was $80, and I was later told that the payment had not been received. My FSA card records show the charge, so I believe this payment should be verifiable. I also posted a review regarding my experience because I felt it was important to honestly share what happened. I was very disappointed to discover that my review was intentionally removed. This added to my concerns because I believe customers should be able to provide honest feedback about their experiences, including concerns regarding billing and customer service. To avoid further confusion or unexpected charges, I have requested to cancel all of my remaining appointments for the rest of the year, with the exception of the two massages that remain pending from my package. I am requesting that you please review my account, including my previous discussion with the owner, the cancellation note that was supposed to be placed in the system, my five-massage package, and the payment records for the $132 and $80 charges. I would appreciate written clarification regarding these charges and confirmation that my account has been corrected accordingly. I would also like confirmation that the remaining two massages from my package will remain available to me and that no additional incorrect charges will be applied. I have been trying to resolve these issues, but having to repeatedly explain payments and charges that should already be reflected correctly in the system is extremely frustrating. After trying for two years, a year on our own, and the second year with a fertility specialist, we finally determined the clock was running out and we needed to consider IVF. The cost of IVF was so great that we agreed we would only try once​, even though we discovered so many people fail multiple times with IVF before reaching success and our Dr. confirmed there was only a 25% chance of a live birth for someone at 40 years of age. This was disturbing to us considering the process did practically everything for you. I then found articles pointing to Acupuncture as a positive solution to greatly enhance the success rates of IVF, and since we only were willing to take ​it on ​ one time, I immediately searched for an Acupuncture Specialist that specialized in fertility or IVF, when I came across Dr. Michael Fiorani at Plantation Acupuncture. Not having ever done acupuncture, I was a bit nervous and did not know what to expect. Dr. Fiorani made me feel extremely comfortable immediately and addressed all of my questions and concerns with confidence and compassion. I began treatments with him two months before I was planning to go for IVF, to improve my egg quality and address uterine fibroids and endometriosis which all may have contributed to my issue. We drive 45 miles (over an hour from the Redlands area of Miam) to Sunrise for his magical treatment. I believe he also has another location in Delray Beach.
