Initially, we had a simple site through Wix, which worked for us when we opened but as we grew we realized we needed a better site. We hire Justin in February after having a seemingly productive meeting. After a few weeks we inquired on the status of the site. He said things were going well and he was almost ready to switch us over from Wix. He told us at our first meeting our site would only be down for 12 hours. A few days later he took our site down and it was down for 2 months! We lost all of the front page listings we had built up. We lost thousands in sales. It wasn't until I started texting and calling on a daily basis that our site was finally up, but with only a few products. I had to spend the next week adding all of the products he had failed to upload. Additionally, he mixed secure and unsecured pages which caused search engines to ignore our website. I have asked him repeatedly to fix our site and he ignores me. I now have to hire another developer to fix his mistakes. It seems to me he had never built an ecommerce site before and simply did not know what he was doing. Please do your research before hiring this company to do any work on your website. Prior to Barnard we were doing over $1k in online sales a month, now we barely do a $100, except when people overseas use stolen credit cards and rip us off for thousands, which also never happened until Barnard put up our new website.
