Composite: I live in Economy Borough so the frequent check-ins make sense. As a reflection on the major snow storm from a few years ago, SNOWMAGEDDON, the borough did an absolutely wonderful job in keeping trucks, salt and sand on the roads. My driveway does get covered over by the plows but the important thing is access for the emergency vehicles during bad weather. The plow hit my mailbox in the snow clearing marathon. I called the Boro to a) say thanks for the hard work, and b) mention the mailbox. In about a week two people came out, took my mailbox and posts away, rebuilt it, and put it back in the ground. Gratis. Really now.... this was a gracious act. This event continues to make an impression on me. f8 and be there. read more
