I recently started journaling again and have been on the hunt for a nice compact journal to take with me as I'm always on the go. I walked into this store with no real expectation as I was just browsing through each section. I would like to share their stager(s) are very talented as the themes and feel for each part of the store is exactly what they are looking to accomplish -- peaceful, inviting, calming, therapeutic, etc. I came across a journal with a saying that I thought was very fitting for my current life changes so I ended up buying it. If I lived in the area -- I suspect this would be one of my favorite stores for plants, decor, etc.

Ecovibe is easily my favorite store in Portland. Beautiful selection of home goods including fresh houseplants and everything needed to help you get them to thrive. I've bought blankets, wall decor, plants, candles and kitchen goods from them over the past few years and everything is high quality for good value and service is great! Getting ready to add my new piece to the wall!

To me this did not feel like a plant store exclusively as the other reviews say (even though that was the thing that attracted me to this spot). This is a complete lifestyle store with items ranging from home décor, houseplants, pottery, kitchenware, chocolates ,apparel accessories, candles, gifts and books and much more. What really interested me was that not only was a lot of the stuff locally made and sourced but also catered to a sustainable lifestyle . In the day and age of Amazon this really is something I value and this store is doing very well on that . The store is not huge and feels a little too closely packed because they have oodles and oodles of stuff on display. This was a slight inconvenience as I was constantly looking over my shoulder to ensure I did not bump into anyone or anything. The items are aesthetically displayed based on the home category they belong to .Plants however adorn each and every corner of the store and give it a very Bohemian vibe . They are also a member of ECG and the plant wellness program and you can donate in the store or online and let the employees know that you are doing it as part of ECG and they coordinate from there . Pricing is slightly on the higher side but in my opinion totally reasonable as a lot of the stuff is hand crafted and locally sourced.

Love, love, love!!! This store is a gem in every single way! The aesthetics are so serene and calm, with gorgeous plants of every shade and texture adding vibrancy and energy - I want to live there! Its my new favorite shop in Portland and I know my friends will love the birthday and Christmas gifts I am already planning on buying them! Driving by on NE Alberta, the beautiful store window caught my eye and I had to stop and pull over. I am so glad I did! As soon as you enter, the white walls, lush greenery, variety of natural textiles (throws, pillows, woven baskets) array of books about plant care (Plant Parenting) or cooking vegetables, and mid-century modern vessels just makes you smile. Everywhere you turn is an Instagram worthy vignette; seriously, I could not stop snapping photos! On each table, there is a collection centered around a theme. For example, a book titled "Salad Days" perched high on a table with all of the kitchen décor needed to chop veggies, toss and serve a salad, season with salt & pepper and serve to your guests. Hand carved wooden salad bowls, wooden salt & pepper bowls, exquisite marble serving trays inlaid with wood, tongs, dishes, fancy salts - and this is just one table! My home is mid-century modern so the space and everything in it spoke to me! I slowly made my way around taking it all in, then did another lap. Already I have identified gifts for my friends who love to garden; the gorgeous garden tools in unique prints and colors would be delightfully received. For my "foodie" friends and my friends who love to entertain, the options are just as plentiful. They also have a section of unique fashion jewelry that is very affordable. There are candles and bath soaps, unique greeting cards, framed botanicals, shawls and sweaters made from natural fibers, and handbags. If you are in need of plants, they have all varieties. The people that work there clearly love plants and when asked, offer directions on the specific needs and care. If you pick a plant, select one of their gorgeous vessels to really make a statement. They have lots of pots that sit on raised wooden stands, again that mid-century look that is so on point right now, as well as those that are self contained. Prices are more than reasonable for designs that would cost far more at some of the nurseries around town. My home has lots of light and is filled with ferns and succulents so I decided to add something different to my collection. I fell in love with a large trailing air plant that doesn't need soil but does need to be soaked periodically. For its home, I chose a large glass teardrop vessel with a thick jute rope that will hang on a wall interspersed with my art collection. I have a strong feeling I will be adding more air plants as time goes on! The young ladies that were working there the day I visited were all super friendly, extremely knowledgable, helpful and truly added to the already exceptional experience. Did I mention I wanted to move in?!! Highly recommend EcoVibe Home, a delightful plant and gift shop. They are continually adding new things so stop back often. I'd give 10 stars if Yelp would allow!!!

I love this shop. Everything you need to add houseplants into your life. Also a great selection of candles and small curated selections of kitchen items, greeting cards, jewelry, clothing, and bags. They even have bags of potting soil if you need it! The prices here are just right. All the items are high quality, but the fact they have plants, pots, and candles in so many different sizes allows this to be a place that should be affordable to most. I came here to buy a collection of pots and was really happy with the variety of colors, sizes, and shapes. I will likely be coming here for all my houseplant needs in the future!

This is home. Ecovibe Home. The location of this place is amazing, right next to our breakfast spot, Petite Provence! Walking in, you can see that they take COVID very seriously. You can't walk in until they let you, hand sanitizer is provided and required, and anything you touch? Cannot be put back and must be given to the workers for them to sanitize and place back. A sanitary persons dream! Now I'm not a plant guy but this place had more than enough for my girlfriend and I BOTH to enjoy. She got plants, I got useful EDC. (Every Day Carry) I mean we're talking portable cocktails, we're talking microwave, dishwasher save thermos bowls, utensil army knives?? I could live here! I guess the name is fitting, huh? The plants are priced reasonably and they all are in fantastic condition, not to mention the festiveness this store has. Already prepared for the holiday season. Definitely a must, and a must again.

Brought several plants in to be repotted.

We had such a positive experience! Ecovibe was awesome as we had lots of plants to repot and needed consult on a few plants. Staff was very friendly and available and went above and beyond to help us. Definitely recommend giving them your business.

    Small watermelon peperomia!

Super cute store! They have a nice selection of home decor and plants. Any plant mom/dad would love this store. I was visiting from California and stumbled upon this store. Ended up buying a baby watermelon peperomia to take back home. They have a nice selection of house plants and in a variety of different sizes. The small itty bitty one I got was only $3. Definitely recommend taking a look. I love stores like this, so relaxing even if you don't buy anything. Store assistant was very nice as well.

    Burtha!
    Stacy L.

What customer service! I recently moved near their new location on Hawthorne with my massive monstara. Her name is Burtha, and the name is earned. 5-6 feet tall, massive leaves, needs to be tied against the wall or she'll attack you, hardly fits in my car. We did a special trip to move her like her own personal chauffeur, got her all set in the new house, and in the middle of the night she straight up yeeted herself off the wall and onto the floor. This drama queen needed surgery asap, but she can hardly be moved. Thankfully, Ecovibe was right around the corner. They repotted her, made her look so much better in a pot better suited for her, and then WHEELED HER BACK TO MY HOUSE. I'm a customer for life! They saved my Burtha, and they had a fantastic selection of houseplants. I think Burtha needs a friend.

I purchased a beautiful pot and sales assistant recommended a floral plant which collect in my apartment. Like to see floral blooms indoors.

Heck, I can't even say that this IS a secret to anyone but myself, so I may be the only one in town who was missing out...until this last weekend, anyway. It was a TikTok video, of all things, that pointed us to the deli within (Aunt Tillie's), but from there, after downing a couple of sammies, we had the pleasure of checking out the various shops (many of which seem to have...let's say...eclectic and unstable operating hours), but are still fun to browse: a vintage store, a Himalayan goods store, and others. But the real draw is the antique "mall" co/op running in the basement: a sprawling labyrinth of curated collections of the riches of yesteryear, laid out in such a way to maximize foot traffic, and capture the attention of eye and mind: vintage clothing, furniture, home décor, movies, comics, collectibles, personal items, books, postcards and a whole lot more: enough to keep a treasure hunter like me busy poking around for quite a while! I wish there were more places like this, but based on the fact that I didn't know this existed until two days ago, perhaps there are! Time to get back out there, and start exploring, because I'm obviously slacking a bit!

Located one block east of NE Sandy and the iconic Hollywood Theatre, the large light blue sign that says 42 Station is also iconic for this neighborhood. This place hasn't changed in the 20 years I've lived in Portland and it needed a facelift 20 years ago! But you aren't here for the aesthetics, your here to visit one of the 7 or 8 shops. Or Antique Valley on the lower level; a large space of multiple vendors selling their wares. The primary reason I come here is the Postal Annex. It's just so convenient with parking on the street out front and friendly service, Even though I've moved to SW I still come here frequently. They only accept cash so be forewarned. The 2nd reason I come is Aunt Tillie's Deli. If I'm here during lunch hours or need a sandwich for a picnic, this is the place! They make a delicious and satisfying sandwich and homemade soups that hit the spot! I used to visit Linda's Upholstery whenever I needed custom pillows, a seat cushion or a couch completely redone but she is no longer there. Bummer. She is the master of her craft and affordable. The Himalayan Gift store, located on the left when you walk in, never seems to have anyone there, but they are still in business. They sell clothing, candles, souvenirs and other very miscellaneous items. There is also a hair salon, another antique shop and a Nordic Home shop on the first floor. When I say shop, we are talking a very, very small footprint. The size of a small bedroom. Like I said, The 42nd Street Station is an unusual blend of stores under one roof that fits right into this neighborhood. It's not a destination or a place for out of neighborhood folks, but for those who do live nearby or did, like me, it's an essential part of the community.

The vast variety of items they have amassed is impressive, and the way everything is playfully displayed is sensory overload! In a good way. Wandered in on a sunny afternoon with zero expectations and stayed a good 20 minutes making several laps around the store. In the center is a large tree structure adorned with dozens of adorable cat stuffed animals, with leaves made of huge paper globes in rich teals and purples, and hanging flower lanterns. The walls are filled with cat pictures, many original art from local artists. in fact, many of the items in the store are made locally. They even conduct workshops where you can make some of them, like the hanging flower lanterns. There are notebooks, hair clips that look like a cat, figurines, keychains, scarves, tote bags, and various purses, wallets and crossbody bags. For the kitchen there are bottle openers, coctail stirrers, coffee mugs and the cutest cat spoons that hang into the mug. Yep, bought a silver one! The art - various paintings, prints, note cards - is fun & whimsical. I loved the Purrmaid and the octopus with a cat head! So creative. The owner is delightful. She and the other owners created an inspiring space that encourages one to browse and marvel, and lets you do just that without any pressure. I told her how much I loved the shop and made a point to say, it's not just for crazy cat ladies. And then pondered over that terminology when people who have dogs, and won't go anywhere without them, are not called crazy dog ladies. She loved that perspective. Loving cats sometimes gets a bad wrap, but in this shop, crazy cat ladies, cat lovers, or anyone who appreciates creative art and gifts are welcome and can find enjoyment. I left with my new cat spoon and a tortoise shell cat clip for my hair, which I proudly wore that night!
