This salon specializes in men's cuts and there's limited stylists who will do women's cut. I haven't gone to a salon in years and did a lot of searching until I decided to book an appointment with Kristy. Booking was easy, as it can be done online. Kristy was so easygoing and we chatted the entire time I was getting my hair cut. I showed her the length I was going for and had her go from there. Eddie's Edition is a great shop. I have been going to Kristy for several months now and I am extremely happy with her work. She always runs on time and provides excellent customer service. Kristy does detailed work on my hair - a precision short cut on curly hair as well as mixed coloring. She does this perfectly! So well that I constantly get compliments on my haircut and color. Kristy is a gem!! As for the shop in general, it is always clean and well maintained. Everyone in the shop is pleasant. Most of the other people working there seem to be barbers and clients are males getting haircuts. They give good clean cuts from what I've seen. I really like the shop's online booking system. Makes it easy and convenient to book appointments. The system sends text confirmations and reminders too. The only downside can be parking, especially at lunchtime. The parking lot is very small and there is a restaurant that shares the space. Street parking is available though. I found this place on Yelp and it had great reviews so I was hopeful. I went here for a line up and a hair style. When I called I was not informed that this was not possible, but when I got there they didn't have barbering licenses so a true line up wasn't possible. As for the hair style the guy said that he will do a style with a haircut which is not something I was planning on but I was like .. okay if that's the only way to get a style fine but I told him I'm growing my hair out and to take very little off. He took off so much hair it will take me 3 months to grow it back, and he was thinning my hair, why? I have nice thick hair that is getting thinned out. First time here for my son's haircut. We booked Tina and had a quick consultation. After his wash , I switched the cut remembering what kind of cut my son actually wanted. Tina was professional and was not outwardly annoyed at all. What I showed her was not quite the cut I received, however what she created was even better than what I asked for. She made my son look like a K-Pop star! I can't stop looking at him. My husband is now convinced that he also wants to switch places and get his cut there now. Came in for a quick hair cut after my regular guy was on vacation. This place is a bit pricier than what I usually pay, but the care and attention to detail is well worth the price. Erin did a great job with my haircut. Prior to the start, she made sure to listen to what I wanted and I also mentioned a spot that was always a bit weird when it came to styling. She took a look and explained to me why that is and cut my hair in a way where the issue was minimized and much less noticeable.
